Really appreciate your review. Pointing out the faults in the American safety standards reflected in the car's details and designing. Weight, visibility, etc.
This car just proves the theorem that the further you get from Detroit "engineers", the better the car. Ford is a 1950s rocket program, our Germans are better than your Germans.
Another great review and more smiles - cheers! As a time-served automotive certification engineer, I can confirm that it's not legal for the rear-view camera to constantly send an image which is directly visible to the driver - it's (allegedly) too much of a distraction. This applies to cars approved for sale in Europe/Australia/USA/Canada to my knowledge; it may also apply to other territories that routinely adopt European and/or US Federal legislation or modify the same to suit local requirements rather than developing bespoke standards. The system is considered as a driver's aid, but in itself that invokes conditions like "low-speed only" and/or "when reversing only". I'm not sure how Tesla has addressed that particular nugget of legislation; it may be due to recent changes in the European "rear visibility" standard (UN-ECE Regulation 46) which now allows direct viewing via a mirror to be replaced by a camera/monitor system, provided that a stringent set of conditions is met. I can guess based on previous experience that Tesla is currently lobbying NHTSA for the existing USA mirrors legislation to be updated to allow the same thing. I shall now once again hide my geeky knowledge and get back in my box.
+Samo yep, it is lmao, such a massive flop in the usa haha, although I kinda liked it... but, reason being because it's /not/ a conventional Cadillac lol

The 'breaking' torque vector system in the ST is the major reason i stayed away from it. I thought the RS didnt use that and instead actually had a true system using power instead of brakes. *shrug*
I'd rather get a miata and a subaru Forester for the price of this
Not AWD but FWD. In the fiesta st it can cause the car to slow down more when turning if more aggressive brake pads are put on. It is like traction control that won't go away.
Gotta say love your vids man especially this one! Can't think of anywhere else to get deep social commentary laid like icing on top of a car review cake.
Nice Honda Civic
The visibility is fine. I drive a focus every day. I love those little built in blind spot mirrors. I couldn't go without them.
How dare you call me a real human being.
Really appreciate your review.
Pointing out the faults in the American safety standards reflected in the car's details and designing. Weight, visibility, etc.
6:57 "But she's got this annoying laugh like Spongebob Squarepants exploring the hidden worlds of his own *PROSTATE!"* That's it, I'm done ✅ 😂
That last part was super deep and highly relatable as well as thought provoking..
This car just proves the theorem that the further you get from Detroit "engineers", the better the car. Ford is a 1950s rocket program, our Germans are better than your Germans.
excellent
That kind of makes me sad, because GM is also improving its sports cars via Opel's very German contributions.
american cars arent really built in detroit anymore. except chryslers....wooo
chevys are built in michigan and kentucky (the v8'y stuff)
+rubberwoody Detroit is a city of Micigan LMAO! Google before you comment.
+rubberwoody the mustang and many other factories are still being built, in and around Detroit and its suburbs.
After the RS, Subaru has decided to bring the STI spec C to America.
better be next week or it's too late
Would rather just have a hatchback option again

I Love His Story about why He bought This Focus RS! Bringing His Family into the things He Loves🤟🏽❤️
You NEEED to do a 911. The 911 has had a Massive impact on automotive culture

He did a Porsche (maybe a carrera) waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in season 1 or 2.
Yup, the debut of Regular S. Thompson. I'd like to see more of him if it fits the car.
I learn more life lessons from watching mr. regular than from life itself
Review the Cadillc Catera PLEASE
seriously omfg!!!
slime carter Like hell they don't, rofl
Haha not really a New York thing I guess 😅
Hmm... Catera looks like a Opel Omega, what we have here in Europe. Hmm... It is a Opel Omega!!! I never know that that car was sold in USA.
+Samo yep, it is lmao, such a massive flop in the usa haha, although I kinda liked it... but, reason being because it's /not/ a conventional Cadillac lol
In awe at the size of this lad. Absolute unit.
6:11 ""Daisy from "Angels" of Shield""...
Is that like Charlie's Angels of SHIELD?
quad quotes ""
I got that right away and LoLed
"...and Daisy from Agents of Shield." 😆
It took me a minute, and then I was like, "Wait... WTF did he just say..?" I wasn't actually sure I heard it until I saw this comment LOL
Dude you should be on the American TopGear. People like you would make a show like that worth watching.
review a mk1 volkswagen gti please
I had a four banger mustang. A 1993 convertible. It’s was a total slug but it was rather reliable.
@7:33 The owner of the car is almost as big as the vehicle itself. Jesus Christ.
And? Who gives a fuck lol
I was on the fence about subscribing, but that deep ending won me over. Great videos, funny as hell, keep it up!
This is the weirdest car video I’ve ever watched
This has to be the realist video you ever made

This are reviews, no boring ones that only throw numbers and spec sheets
I thought the 2.3l Ecoboost was closer-ish to the Mazdaspeed6's engine
same block due to both being based on mazda's L engine, but pretty much everything else is different
only car review channel where i can get advice on my life.
What happened to the adult jokes? Is it because of RUclips's new TOS?
Not every review is the same, depends on the car really.
tru tru
the whole TOS thing w RUclips is only concerning titles and tags on a video, the actual content isn't reviewed, so if a vid has "suicide" "rape" etc. in the title or tags it'll get flagged but one like this where its all about cars wont be even if the content is considered adult.
Did you not hear 6:50?
See 6:50.
I first watched this video a few months ago when I was looking for a car. I can tell you, your wife-convincing plan works wonders. I've been a happy Fiesta ST owner since.
Dang that driver needs to hit the gym. It will make that car much faster. He looks about 300 pounds.
My buddy had a turbo mustang in the early 80s because I remember that he had deep buyers remorse when the SVO came out. Back then if you were hip you thought the guys with the 5.0 were burnouts or rock heads. Still, another jewel in the crown of RCR. They should hire you over at Comedy Central to freshen up their lineup.
Ugg, why would you get this car in white!?
Because your other car color choices these days are black and gray. Just look at a typical parking lot, it's a sea of whites to blacks with few colors.
+opl500 the blue looks great on his car
+Orius just saw a blue one yesterday
White is a very traditional colour for the RS. All the way back to 1968: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/39/Ford_Escort_RS2000_MkI.jpg
I love how philosophical these weird reviews get. It all happens so quickly without warning. The commentator obviously thinks a lot
