"Dangerous Worlds" is a 5-track mini-album with music from the Metroid series! It was originally meant to be a longer album, but I settled for something short, but sweet due to the lack of available licenses. I'm still very happy with the results and hope you enjoy it!

Man this'd be perfect in something like, a Metroid without an actual escape countdown.
Like Samus just goes in and does the job so flawlessly, she gets the heroic reprise as she leaves the planet instead of the panicked run.
This is what I like about your covers; you give it your own spin on it that makes it stand out from other mixes. It’s your sound that I can’t put my finger on.
this is how i'd imagine the soundtrack for a Metroid movie would be like, epic as hell while keeping the exploration vibe of Samus space jumping all over the place. awesome awesome stuff!

Such a heroic song. It should be called Samus's Hero Theme, but they called it Brinstar because that's where the game starts I guess.
I think in Zero Mission it pretty much is, since it plays all the way up to the final boss after getting the fully powered suit!
One the first Metroid OSTs I ever fell in love with given the glow-up of a lifetime! Bravo for the wonderful work!
! Samas has never had so much epic swagger! Reminds me of the end of zero mission, getting the full gravity suit plus all unknown items and blowing the bejaggers out of the space pirates I previously had to sneak about and run from!
I do hope though an epic orchestral cover of the Super Metroid brinstar is in the works too.
As my first metroid game, Super Metroid is always going to be a favourite, and that theme in particular just has a wonderful alien quality to it, delving deeper and deeper into planet Zebes.
By the way the name of the first planet in Metroid is called Zebes

Pontus, you have in my opinion the best orchestral cover of Brinstar on youtube. The pace is there, as is the majesty of the full orchestra. I listen to something that's like the licensed tract that's on the Smash Bros. Melee game and then yours, the difference in quality is like night and day. You make all the right choices when adding each new instrument, instinctively knowing what to highlight to maintain the spirit of the original and yet add more epicness. You're a really good orchestrator and criminally underrated. You and Malcolm Robinson are my favourite orchestral cover-artists.
I would totally go into the depths of the unknown with this song in the background...

brinstar will always be my favorite track in any arrangement its in, whether it be on zebes or the overworld theme to tallon 4

Nice to hear you're doing Metroid remixes as well! As I mentioned a pipe organ in my other comment on the CT album: May I point you towards my "Metroid: Organ Transplants" 7.1 surround album on YT where could hear the combo on mastered material. This has already been presented in a cinema twice, sadly enough in stereo only but I won't give up! 😀
