Loving this EP so far. Would you ever be interested in doing a video featuring some mastering tips? Mastering is where I struggle the most and your mixes are so lively!
I'm not great at it, still a learning process for me as well, but I try to make each section sound as good as possible first in the pre-master. I use FabFilter EQ to cut veeery carefully where there's buildup, usually in the mids (300-700hz) and boost the high-end slightly (5khz-20khz). Also recommend Ozone, Gullfoss and Soothe 2 as very helpful mixing/mastering tools, aside from Fabfilter!

Are the instruments synth'd?
I enjoyed this, but maybe it's a bit _too_ bombastic? The original music was creepy and suspenseful, whereas this feels more like a superhero theme. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't exactly agree with the tone of the game. Bear in mind that the Metroid series has always been about the atmosphere more than anything else.
That line did not age well.
