I wrote on one of the humans are space orc reddits two very short stories about non terrans trying to reconcile the conflicting ideas of no man left behind and the willing sacrifice (beau geste). The idea that you bring back your comrades no matter what in one story. In the other, one person stays behind willingly to ensure the safety of others. these were about 5 lines apiece.
Forcefully penetrating an unknown ship, then again forcefully penetrating to kidnap an alien you don't even know if dead or alive? That's just asking for trouble. At least have some tact and delicacy, for flarks sakes.
