This seems to have borrowed a lot from the Roman Empire. Socii keep their own laws and customs, subject to Terran control of foreign and military policy, eventually leading to full 'Roman' status. Even under great duress, most socii will remain loyal to the functioning 'Roman' society.

They say that there must have been a 5th giant planet before the late heavy bombardment. It got throw out of the system. Apparently models seem to need this missing planet to recreate out current status.

Oh we started making up ways of pulling that off, Star Trek 3 is a good example of the slingshot maneuver and was even shown in an episode from the 1960's around the time the US landed on the moon in 1969.

You forgot to mention "Rap and R and B as a part of the death world discription.
I'm sorry, I tried to follow this one... But I'm wondering who is saying what in this story. At first it seemed to be from the perspective of the human... Then it seemed to be about some creature other than a human... The way the sentences are arranged in this story kind of feels like it was made without punctuation.
It's a good premise, but I got lost very quickly.
No humans were involved in the conversation.
