4 History and IR is my weakest GS subject.
Assignment:
1. Weakest area from the top 5 protocol..
a . Defining the microgoals and postponing the set targets. ( Thought of to take a test series and give exams on defined date)
b. No accountability , since doing self study and dont have any mentor to support at each step.( Will take upsc navigator and digital strategyzer along with test series and keep a track about my progress)
c. Not sure whether I am doing quality learning which will differentiate me from other candidates.( Not sure how can I avail quality learning)
2. Never wrote a single Essay, most cryptic about philosophical based essay . In ethics though I find case studies interesting but no idea how should be the approach.

1. To follow a particular roadmap to achieve the requisite goal. I shall be disciplined enough. 2. Not able to think over a wider area in respect to the essay and unable to link the current affairs to the essay asked.

1. My weakest strategy amongst the 5 would be Quality checking my learning followed by creating micro-goals- I hope to tackle it by solving PYQS on a regular basis and test myself.
2. I fear not being able to recall important info and using that to answer the questions in a sophisticated manner within the limited time.

This was a wonderful session. Everyone around me keeps saying UPSC is very difficult, cracking it in the first attempt is next to impossible. It kind of brought down my tempo. But your thrust on the importance of clearing this exam in the 2023 attempt is really making me enthusiastic!

To tackle this, I plan to use the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance and Reinforcement learning through the ultimate UPSC Navigator which will induce habit-formation, hence I will lease likely to procrastinate.

1. Among the 5 protocols, Quality checking one's learning is my weakest area. To tackle the same, i am planning to follow the HEXATASK Method proposed by you which is the perfect way to go about it.
2.Little to no effort has been put by me for these sections as i tend it to keep it at last especially Ethics part. For essay, i had earlier purchased your book which had helped me to get an idea on how to go about but the thing is i have not practiced constantly. 1. My weaknesses are two points. Clarity in micrograms and flexibility. I aim to set clearer microgoals to understand how much time I have for each activity.
2. Forgetting your strategies due to lack of practice. In ethics, I don't know anything from subject point of view.
