    UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
    Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
    Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

    Le me who is an IITIAN and Having maths optional scored 42.5 marks in CSAT !!
    Abhijeet bhai CSAT and Maths optional ka kya link ka mujhe toh yeah hi samajh nahi aarha hai?? Zaroori nahi ki MATHS optional hai toh csat nikal hi jaega ! bhai csat mein p&c , probability , time and work etc 10 level types topics poochte hain and maths in csat is just one third (remaining is comprehension and reasoning) maths optional syllabus is higher mathematics like pde , abstract algebra , etc and bhai iit se hai toh kya? jee adv 4-5 saal pehle clear kiya tha and maths of csat is very tough mushkil se 23 sawal huve the within time frame.

    Good morning Sir! In my mock tests,I have realised that I am making few errors due to overthinking or probably due to not understanding the question statement properly. Despite knowing about that topic,I am unable to come to right answer . Happens in 1-2, sometimes even 3 -4 questions in every test. How can I improve? Kindly help me. Thank you !

    Sir i have a very serious question.
    No one reply to my question i hope u will reply and solve my problem.
    Sir i am +2 student and joined normal govt college for pursuing bsc.
    I am well aware that educational background doesn't matter whether anyone is iitian or normal degree holder from govt college.
    But in the mean time i feel that there is no one jisne govt college se normal degree li ho or ias bana ho recent years me to khas kar .
    Kya normal college ke students me wo talent nhi ya fir wo interview me pahunch kar unhe marks na dekar final list se bahar kar dete h
    This question is torturing me by heart.
    Hope so u understand and reply to my question.
    Thanku so much sir.

    • @UPSCprepIAS
      @UPSCprepIAS  Месяц назад +1

      Interview mein marks bohot baad mein aate hain - us se pehle hi kaafi log self doubt and inconsistency ki wajah se bahar ho jaate hain. And to answer your question - no - if a candidate can conduct themselves well in the interview, the college they come from doesn't matter.
