I respect him for his achievement and his hardwork, and i am no one to question someone's decision in life...but still why,...why did you waste a seat of IIT...if civil service was all you wanted to do. And it's not just for him but all those who follow these footprints
Because UPSC is unpredictable and he wants to have a safe backup, and if he deserves why should he not take admission in a top college? Graduation is different from UPSC. Even if you fail in UPSC, which is very likely seeing the success ratio of the exam. He will have a career in corporate bcs of his graduation, or maybe further get into IIM and do MBA.

@@ujwalashetty9402 i am a friend of his and frankly he didn't tell 70 percent of the things he did. even his copies are not representative of his actual answers. since he figured it out with 4 other friends he cannot disclose everything unless all other clear the exam
civil servants ke agle generation ko allow nahi karna chahiye wapas civil service me, bakiyo ko mauka milna chahiye. nahi to ek hi family crorepati se arabpati se kharabpati banti rahegi. kaam to time pass wala hota hai, koi bhi decent aadmi kar sakta hai. aur koi bhi andar jae kaam to waise bhi bahut dhire hota hai ya nahi hi hota.
