I remember watching you fish and watching Dale race with my dad when I was a kid. Great memories of a more simple time and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
Use to watch these shows with my dad and grandpa back in the day so it definitely brings back some memories. My dad and grandpa was big time bass fisherman and taught me so much over the years. I always loved it when we take out the boat and I would just break off and do my own thing without instruction and catch 10 times more fish and my grandpa would be like what you doing how you working that lure lol. Good times
My wife and I got to chat with Hank a long time ago at Bass Pro in Atlanta not to long after Dale died. He was and still is one of our favorite humans. It's really nice when you admire someone and get to meet them, and they are exactly the person you thought they would be. Lifelong fan!
Hahaha@@HankParkerOutdoorMagazineMy wife still has the picture you gave her with a phone # to call your office and they would send us a copy of the tribute show you did for Dale. We also talked about how funny we thought Hank Jr's impressions of you were!😆😆✌
I’ve been a fan of Hank Parker for a long time now, and I know that I’m not alone. We’re all fans of his because of his authentic love of the outdoors, and it comes through in everything he does. I really enjoy the episodes of Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine, and I’d love to see some more of them, especially from his third season. Season 3 was in 1987, and I was really getting into fishing at that time. I remember watching those episodes religiously and taking notes on the tips and tricks that Hank was showing. I still use some of the techniques that I learned from him back then! Hank, it would be really great if you could upload those episodes from Season 3. I think it would be great for your fans, as well as for a new generation of anglers.👍
Love the old episodes!! Brings back so many good memories!! Bonus are the old commercials!! Boy, we’ve come a long way in fishing equipment, haven’t we?!?!
It brings back good old memories I had the exact same ranger 350 Comanche with a GT 150 Johnson on it by brand new at greens outboard Spindale North Carolina in 1986 those were the good old days back thin
It’s a 1986 episode of Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine, which is the last episode of Season 2. Professional race car driver Dale Earnhardt teams up with host Hank Parker for a charity tournament on Lake Norman in North Carolina. This is a fun and special episode. Hank also fishes one of his most underwater structures. The bloopers and outtakes at the end are hilarious. You've never seen these before. There is also some great footage of the natural beauty in America's wilderness. This episode is a real treat. I enjoyed it from start to finish. This is the last episode of “Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine” featuring “Chunkin’ and Windin’” as Hank’s original theme song. Unfortunately, copyright issues have made it impossible for Hank to use the song in future episodes. This makes this episode all the more precious. I’m glad I’m able to revisit it, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy all the episodes with the new theme song, too. I just wanted to appreciate this moment.👍
What would you say would be the single biggest change or improvement in fishing equipment from then till now? Graphite Fishing Rods? Bait Casting reels? Fishing line such as super braid and fluorocarbon? Or better and more numerous lure/bait choices? I'll leave the sonar technology out of it this time.
I just saw a show you said need forward sonar because of pressure? Huh? Wat?, that crap will increase pressure by far and make all the lakes worse, the pros are saying so, but if your sponsored by them guess that's what you'd say, that sonar is ridiculous and takes skill out, hope it's banned

I'm 61 and liked watching the Bass Pro tournaments, Not so much these days.
And yes, I'm a huge Nascar fan Davey Allison was my fav. now its Blaney
Earnhardt immediately started thinking about how to work the weigh in system. A true racer! RIP
Dale was such a likeable guy for the few to say he wasn't likeable. I say the legend won in the end
