  • You will learn more in an hour watching this instructional bass fishing video featuring The Bass Professor, Doug Hannon on how he targets and patterns big Largemouth Bass than you will in a year watching RUclips anglers.
    Not thousands of dollars in gear and equipment, just man who understands monster bass and how to catch them. I had this on video tape years ago.

    What an excellent video. I started fishing two years ago and this one video is more valuable than the vast array of RUclips content creators producing bass fishing videos. But also, I couldn't help notice how ironic it is that 3M produced this because they are a primary PFAS producer, a pollutant now found in freshwater bodies of water across the country. It's just catch and release for me. I never knew about that Catch & Release liquid, either. Very interesting.

    Great video.. back when an angler used skills/talent/techniques to catch bass...complete opposite of many anglers today...Technology vs Fish, instead of angler vs fish

    • @jstar1000
      @jstar1000 4 месяца назад

      Technology can help you find where the fish are but it doesn't make them bite your hook. It helps but it doesn't put the fish in your boat plus for rookies like me who aren't bass pros it keeps us from fishing an area with zero fish and wasting our time and money. What is the percentage of bass pros compared to people like me? If it wasn't for the technology I would probably give up on fishing, I don't have the time to fish everyday and learn what the pros have learned the hard way, technology is great, if you don't like it then don't use it but for me I'm all in on it but the price to play is steep.

    • @andybales7318

      @@jstar1000 then u aren't a true fisherman...the sport of fishing is to find the fish & fool them into biting...if technology does it all for u, then u are just along for the ride...Livescope allowing the angler to see their bait on screen, allows them to put the bait in a fish's face...You do that, very good chance they will bite...And tournament results are proving this....if contributing 1% to catching fish satisfies u, go for it....Nevertheless, that's not the sport of fishing

    • @jstar1000
      @jstar1000 4 месяца назад

      @@andybales7318 I'm a true fisherman because I don't have live scope and I don't catch fish way more then I catch them. Its to the point I rarely want to put in the effort to go fishing anymore. All the money and time I spend on the boat, equipment, gas, tow vehicle on and on then the whole day spent driving back and forth and time on the water all to not catch a single fish, yeah that gets real old really fast, not to mention the messed up weather that screws you way too often. I enjoy being out on the water but I would rather just take my RV and stay a few days at the lake and blow off fishing if that is my typical result which, it is. Just because you see a fish and your lure it still doesn't show you what type of fish and it doesn't make the fish bite your hook. I can see it being banned from pro tournaments for sure but for people like me, I want one but again they are too expensive at this point so I'm off to go camping and my boat sits, I may fish 4 or 5 times a year at this point. Maybe I should just sell the boat and hire a guide the 4 or 5 times I fish. When I was younger back in the 80s I would always catch fish and lots of them, seems like fishing is way tougher now for what ever reason at least here where I live in North Texas.

      @@andybales7318give someone with zero knowledge of where bass are a live scope and the best radar and they still won’t catch as many fish as someone with knowledge and a depth finder. If you can’t retrieve your lure right the fish aren’t going to bite.
