When they say hot swappable they mean the switches can be simply pulled out and new ones dropped in. In this case without hotswap what that would mean is that you’d have to tear down the keyboard to get to the back of the pcb and desolder the switches to pull them out and then put the new switches in and solder them onto the board. It’s not the end of the world but it’s definitely not convenient like hot swapping.
Also i believe it’s with mentioning i think these switches are proprietary so you only have the gx brown’s red’s and blue’s to replace them with not like a more common switch type where you could have a lot of options unfortunately. Luckily for me the brown’s seem like they’ll be fine for me i like the feel and sound. I just have to adjust to the little added resistance feel coming from the blue’s in my wired g pro x.
@@bloodbeats ohhh so the previous version is hotswappable but the cable is micro usb and i also heard that new logitech g pro x tkl is refurbished of logitech g915 tkl
Yo guys is this one tactile or linear one i am thinking to buy one but not sure about which one should i go i dont want to make it so much noise at night
I wish you had gotten your answer. It’s kinda hard to say for sure but i wanna say the board in the video was tactile. From other video I’ve seen The linear’s sound just a little quieter but kind of scratchy and kind of cheap tbh. I got the tactile and i would recommend. It’s not super loud.
@@DJ-Art-Morris thanks for the advice but i already bought steel series apex pro tkl cause of the rapid trigger it has the nearly same loudness and have some more features
