Fun fact: Ale has said that this is one of her favorite songs to play because the bassline isn't completely repetitive. The bassline on every verse and chorus is slightly different and that makes it a fun challenge.

This was the last song at a private concert for Patrons and Kickstarters It was after two hours performing. Ale was exhausted but she soldiered through. So Pau, the drummer, is 5'0", Dany, the guitarist is 5'3", and Ale is 5'7". Ale is tall for a Mexican woman - average height is 5'3". Pau doesn't like having her height discussed.

Normally, bands have to pay to play at the Whisky. That is unless you are good enough to be asked back. The Warning proved they are more than good. enough.

They feed on the crowd's energy, but also they have worked hard on their instruments, vocals and especially stage presence in the couple of years since the cave video. Also of note is that Dany is playing her Manson guitar, which is now owned by Matt Bellamy of Muse.

Fun Facts: 1) All three are tiny girls. Ale may look extremely tall, but she is about 5'7" (but always wears platforms). It's just that Dany is only about 5'3 and Pau is maybe 5'.
    2) The Warning first played The Whiskey in 2018. In 2019 they hosted a private show for fans (When this song was recorded. Fan that organized the show is a huge Metallica fan, so this encore was for him). They were then extended an open invitation to play The Whiskey when ever they wanted. They return in 2020 and played back to back sold out shows, which are legendary!! Covid started right after and they did not return to LA until 2022 when they played back to back soldout nights at the legendary Troubadour!

I like both versions. I saw the Cave recording first and the lighting is better, you also can appreciate how young they were, and not dressed like rock stars, just regular teens doing amazing things. But you’re right, the Whiskey performance is just amped up a little more. I always feel sorry for Ale, a two hour show can leave a grown person exhausted, especially playing with the focus that they do. Both are worth seeing. Thanks.

Cave version audio is a much better mix for Pau. Whiskey version it's hard to hear her. I also like getting a lot more close ups of Ale's playing in the Cave version. But others feel the energy is better at Whiskey (I don't agree, but it's awesome to have both versions). And yes, Ale's kimono is a highlight!

Hell of a song to play at then end of a 2 hour set for anyone, let along three teenagers. Anyone who thinks they haven't paid their dues and earned the right to be where they are right now needs to watch this video. They played there in January at least two years in a row. They have a standing invitation to come back anytime they want. These days, they'd sell out the joint in less than a minute

Awesome band, great music, great company. Best concert I've ever been to. Much of it may be sentimental, but no matter. My first TW show, one of the best nights of my life. This song was the icing on the cake; the "surprise" DPA said was coming that night. Totally cool!
There were 7 countries and 23 states represented there that night. I flew in from CT.

glad you chose to watch this version as well. anytime you get a Pau cam its a good day. The Cave videos are great, but anytime you get a well recorded live version its usually better. The cave version of Dull Knives might be an exception. How'd it go last night? I tuned in a few times but it was still early and you were walking around.

It was a great fireworks show. The band is a good cover band and they got the crowd going. 80,000 people there to watch a local covers band and fireworks. The video didn't turn out too well, but its up if you want to watch. Look in my LIVE section. Also, we had a little incident. We were walking around by the food trucks and noticed a huge crowd of young people near the bathrooms dressed head to toe in black. Then we heard the police sirens and 3 police cars push into the crowd and a platoon of police in full military style tactical gear, carrying automatic weapons came marching over and suddenly the folks in black took off running... had to be at least a hundred. Turns out some teens were "fighting" and after the mass shooting a month ago in this town, the cops were not taking any chances. I got some pics of it, I'll put in the Community section.

We come here because we want to see your reactions of our favorite bands. Now why some reactors have to blow up themselves is because they get blocked a lot…
Now, what I can say, the relation of audio between your voice and the music is a bit off, the music is too low so when I raise the volume, I suddenly get someone screaming in my ears though the very same person is talking very softly
I do Zyrtec (the generic version, cheaper, Benadryl (or the generic kills allergy better but also make me zonked)
