Absolutely stunning,, thank you for showing us this one,, 👍 Case eat your heart out,, If I hadn't just ordered an engraved yellow Hiker, a few minutes ago, I'd be on this straight away,, Thanks again,, all the best,, John,,
Man. I love that knife. Just a beauty! And the box is really classy! I watched you and John live this morning. Thanks for the great storage ideas. I like how you have your knives in those clear drawers. That's an excellent idea. Happy Sunday! Cheers, RW
Just had one delivered this morning, bought from Coutellerie Tourangelle in France. Took a little while to get it but well worth it. It is every bit as good as you describe. A real Winner. HH need to jump on this series fast as it looks like its going to be a hum dinger.
Gorgeous knife, love the handle and the ace of spades shield. Great fit and finish! I did not expect that low of a price point. I was expecting something maybe around £40. Great review buddy, thanks for sharing 😁
Carry what you can. I wouldn’t have a problem carrying this knife everyday. I just received two Rough Ryder knives a couple of days ago. The RR Apta and a Blue Denim Cotton Sampler. Great review on this one thank you for sharing.
It’s fantastic isn’t it? Can’t wait for the rest of the series. This is one that I will definitely have to get the entire series. Love the nice stout pulls. The walk and talk is brilliant. AA told me he named the series “In Spades” but after he left for RCB they changed it to simply “Spades”. Good stuff as always, mate! Great review.
I like the ones with the burnt cinnamon bone and Damascus blade Steel there is quite a few different variations in the blade shape they're all nice rough rider they are knocking it out the park
Got the Doctor's Knife, the Swell Center, the Capitol Intern, and waiting on the Senator. Great series. Great video. Will be getting the Coke Bottle Cheers
I just got this one today and it is a really well made knife, much better than any of the Case or Bear and Son knives I've gotten in the past 5 years. Lets just hope the rest of them come this nice. Oh, i really hope they slim these down a little, they sure are thick
A very very nice knife for the price ! It looks like a nice tough working knife ( With a healthy helping of style ). Just the job for putting in a jacket pocket for a stroll around the woods. Or possibly a day's fishing etc.
Hey Matt, These look fantastic! Let’s hope RR continue producing this level of quality! I’d really like these in their T10, think they would look great with some nice patina on the blades😎 Not a complainant, just a personal preference 😀 Fantastic review, thanks brother 😎👍🏻
Just got my Spades knife in from Chicago Knife Works. Exceptional fit and finish. Only issue is that the pulls(especially on the coping blade) are really heavy. I'm going to try and take some metal polish and smooth out/work in the pulls.
the cellidor Companion came out today in a bunch of colors designed for cities. I want the box cutter but I don't like the knife and it's $70-ish. the New York model is not bad but I would like just black scales and $40-ish. I hope they put it in an Alox knife soon
Beautiful looking but rough rider isn't using decent blade steel ,420 or 440 just won't hold an edge and 420c is a little bit better but they need to use more vg10 or d2 or better for a REALLY GOOD knife
Yep, yep, yep. I need to pick one up. A great looking new pattern. The coloring is amazing. Thanks so much for the great review, Slippy.
Thanks John! I really hope others in the series are made this well 🔥🙏🏼

I think so too!

You and me both! I've heard T10 on the way
@@SlipjointSawyer That’s brilliant 😎👍🏻
wondering why Heinne Haynes don't advertise these or other RRs on its website?
I've no idea! I've suggested it to them a few times regarding new RR series' 🙃😞
Going elsewhere I think from now on as it happens a lot @@SlipjointSawyer

I enjoy a tough pull on knives but it's not for everyone, glad the F&F is great like mine 🙏🏼
That is a cool looking knife.
Thanks Jeff

I was just looking at those! Hefty price for what it is, contemplating the New York as well 👀🙏🏼
yeah the New York is the best looking of the Companions but $75. I just want the box cutter blade in an Alox 93mm knife@@SlipjointSawyer
Great knife and video im going to subscribe but it will end up with buying more knives 😂
What a shame 👀😂

Personally for my use I find the 440a fine, but if you use the knife a lot I would love to see D2
