I always find it amazing how you can take things that are so mundane like a mask and an egg carton and turn them into something completely different. You are seriously creative!
🎉You keep saying that you don't have sculpting skills, well I think you are doing better than you think!!😊 Your skills are really very good in so many ways! You show us how, all the time!😊
Unnerving smile on that one... You are very clever. I'd say you have a lot of skill. Skills. Thank you for showing us how you make all these different things. And the packing paper thing is a very usuable skill for many things!
Thank you I really appreciate your lovely comment. I had never done anything like this before and learnt a lot while doing this. I will definitely be trying it again
This is GREAT!!! It's clear that you could get any look you want just by putting the clay layer on differently.... Only limited by what you see in your imagination. I've been told that mine is VERY ACTIVE!!!! Love the 💡 idea. I will be doing those for the grandchildren Ringy-dingy🔔🔔🦋🦋
I just now randomly found this video, and I'm so glad I did, because I've had some boxes shipped to me recently from Japan, and some of them were packed with recycled brown paper which is similar to the paper you're using, though my paper looks to be slightly thinner. I was about to put the paper into my recycling bin, but I see now it's perfect for mask making. On top of that, I just happen to have a dozen or more cardboard egg cartons at the moment. So I will definitely not be tossing THEM into the green bin, either👍 LOVE THIS (ALMOST) FINISHED RESULT!!
Do you use any glue under the air-dry clay? Would the clay not come off when dry if there is no glue? The mask is great, and you did amazing for one without sculpting experience.
@@SteveMcDonaldCrafting I was surprised that the clay didn't crack, like other air dry clay I've used decades ago. You've shown me so many different crafting ideas! I'm glad that you are so multi-talented, and that I have interest in basically all you do! Gonna buy you a coffee now 🥰
Steve this looks so much like KRAMPUS, he would accompany St. Nicholas at Christmas - but only to the children who have misbehaved!! You are VERY talented and I am green with envy lol. Stay safe x

Wow, you really can do anything. That’s brilliant! Thank you Steve. Xx❤

Did you ever find anything out?
So glad I watched this when I got up Steve and not last night lol, nice mask 😀 look forward to the painting video 👍

@@SteveMcDonaldCrafting I'm starting to think you can do anything. :) I like the diversity and humor, and the fact you do take safety seriously.
Bloody good! Teeth are clever
Absolutely gobsmacked. Amazing
How brilliant! I cannot wait to see this all painted! 😀
Thank you. Painting it was as much fun as making it

This is a terrific idea!

Looks awesome Steve.
Thanks Mark, it wasn't something I knew I could do, so I am pleased I had a go. I will be definitely trying it again
It looks like a mixture of the psycho in SAW, the mask in "V is for vendetta, and the Qanon mask. It's great !!!
Wow can't wait to see it done
thank you Ronda
really good job...I like it....can't wait to see it painted 👍

Thank you Cazee, I have looked up the story of Krampus as I hadn't heard of it before, so thank you for introducing me to that
Is air dry clay heavy? How much weight does it add to your face?
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking because if it’s to heavy then it will fall off your face
Love the sculpting but I would have made canines larger.
Thank you Mary. I didn't want to make it too scary, I think if I had made them longer I would have got a little carried away with it LOL
Reminds me of a cross between the V is for Vendetta mask and the devil himself…
:::::shudders:::: yikes!
LOL, it is a great cross of those two
Ok… that is flat out creepy… nooooooooooo…….
You did a great job on it …. But … no… just no…. 😂
LOL inspired by Halloween
