@@AER_0SS YEAHHHH I vividly remember just bits and pieces from the show and I remember an episode where the chef man wanted to cook pangolins and (I think) Chris told him to just cook fingernails lmao
wait omg there was the end of an episode where Zach was like “wild rats!” and the team responded with an exasperated “it’s wild kratts” but there were actually some sized up rodents/mammals behind them and i remember it being kind of funny
Man these guys have been around FOREVER. Even before Zoboomafoo, there was Kratt’s Creatures. It feels like a real progression, with each series getting more episodes and more animated focuses. Wild Kratts really feels like when they found a formula that worked for their target audience.
Lol, you beat me to it. I remember Kratt's Creature, my eldest watched Zoboomafoo, they didn't like Wild Kratts when it came out. They thought it was inferior compared to the live action show. And my youngest was a Wild Kratts fan and we found Kratts Creatures and Zoboomafoo on a streaming service, they liked the cartoon better and thought the puppet was creepy. Go figure.
To be honest my favorite part is that they go over that things that people and a lot of kid shows don’t explain about animals like how predators are hunting because they die if they don’t, and that some animals don’t live all that long, and that snakes would rather use their venom on prey then on us.
My biggest complaint is that Zack isn’t mentioned. He’s the best villain. The man is iconic. I remember several episodes where I actually wanted to root for him. Maybe he isn’t mentioned because air is mad that Zack went to college with Aveva and he didn’t.
True. There was also another unnamed villain who showed up twice. She was a construction builder and I forget her name. All I remember was the plot involved bears I believe and her trying to turn a forest into flat cement for a hotel or something. Anyone remember her or is it just me? Zack was always fun when he showed up, especially in that one Christmas special where he steals most of the Kraft brothers’ creature discs.
It was the gateway for me to nature documentary. Also I remember wishing there was more character development in Terms of Relationship . Edit:Aviva you can test anything on me .Also when I first saw her in the Live-Action I wanted too see more of her .
As a kid, I remember liking the show more whenever Aviva was on screen, but I didn't have the emotional intelligence back then to know why... As a man I know now, she was my first love (Jokes aside this show was my entire childhood and I hope it stays somewhat talked about for a while, it taught me so much about the animal world. The characters, the villains, the comedy, it was all top tier)
2:46 actually she didn't sell their skin, she just sold them. alive. straight up. she would capture animals, freeze them in "suspended animation" where theyre still alive but can't move, and then sell them as fashion accessories or hats or something. and then the chef guy likes to cook exclusively endangered animals. and the Aviva thing; 100% agree
@@ikirbeeburgr Actually, there was this one episode where all the guy wanted was to cook some crickets, y'know, the ones that real people actually eat and are a popular snack in the world. But no, Chris and Martin had to swoop in to save Fleashit or whatever. The first and only time Ive disagreed with the WK's morals
i'm tryin to think if there were any other villains in that show, but all i can think of is those two, & the skinny goth man-child doctor robotnik wannabe that would basically roboticize animals for only god knows why
To be brutally honest, I thought the Kratts weren’t able to produce any new shows since the pandemic. I would like to see them back in action one day, because this has always been and always will be an extraordinary great show. Btw, I don’t have a favorite character, I just like watching the show.
The brothers actually live in my city now, which is pretty mind blowing to think about. I went to one of their Wild Krafts Live shows and got to talk to them in person - asked for advice about how to get into the zoology/biology field, about careers, all that stuff (I was getting close to graduating high school). It was an awesome moment.
I saw one of their live shows too! It was a long time ago so I don't remember much other than the animations for when they used their suits, it was like a magical girl transformation.
My first ever fictional crush was animated Chris Kratt 😅 I was a huge animal facts nerd and I absolutely LOVED this show! I watched each and every episode and caught up on any I didn’t see recently actually 😂 The super powers are done so well! They give them powers while still having weaknesses (malfunctions and having to touch an animal and each animal having their own weakness ex: fish can’t be out of water) and they leave room to build on the powers each time with new creatures! Also they keep a timeline by referencing the animals and tech in the past! Anyways I loved this show so much and still do!
The Kratt Brothers and Steve Irwin are like the Holy Trinity of animal rescue and education. They all sparked my love for wildlife conservation and animals in general.
No joke; apart from being an evil chef who likes incorporating endangered species into his dishes, Gourmand is my spirit animal. Plus, he’s voiced by Zachary Bennett, who not only voices several characters in animation, but does double duty here as Zach Varmitech, another regular villain. Guy gets around!
Oh boy, the moment I heard about him, all I think of is that... "No, why did they villanize fat characters and they could have the guts to make it a Chinese chef to spit facts in real world." This is why I cannot watch Wild Kratts.
I remember watching this show as a kid, and seeing the french chef dude making meals out of the animals. and while all of my siblings were really concerned about the animals, I was actually curious as to whether or not the animals would have tasted good or not......
I. LOVED. THIS. SHOW. SO. MUCH. I don’t watch it anymore, BUT I STILL DO. As an animal obsessed kid who also had adhd, this show had me hooked. I got to learn about cool animal species and so many facts about them, AND I was thoroughly entertained by all the adventure and colorful animation. I was learning without having to struggle to pay attention to what I was trying to learn! And the combination of learning things I found interesting while also watching a cool animated show, resulted in a level of entertainment and engagement I rarely to this day have ever experienced. BEST. SHOW. EVER.
I agree! I was a little to old for it when I started watching that show but I always had a thirst for animal based knowledge and I couldn't resist for more.
I remember watching Wild Kratts as a kid in the German dub, and for some reason they used to cut away the live action parts from the beginning. When I finally started watching Wild Kratts in the English version I was shocked to find out that they were based on real life people-
Your constant thirst for Aviva aside (which, okay, is very valid), this was an overall quite good synopsis of Wild Kratts and why it worked. I grew up on this series and abjectly forgot it existed until now, so thank you for jogging my memory!
Every day after school at 5pm I would rush to the family tv and spend an hour or so of my time on PBS Kids watching Wild Kratts. This show was my absolute childhood and taught me so much about animals. I'll never forget this show's existence, as it's given me so many happy memories.
This was, by far, one of my FAVORITE shows as a kid. Right up there with Lab Rats and Odd Squad, if anyone remembers those. Chris is based, Martin is goofy, the villains are great, the whole cast Is great, and the show itself is really educational. Top tier.
I’ve always been into animals since I started watching the Kratt brothers. I started watching Zoboomafoo as a toddler and went through K-12 with Wild Kratts. Because of Chris and Martin, I realized just how important life is, all kinds, no matter the species. The show also taught me to stand up to people who would use others for their own gain, and that every one has strengths, even if it seems they only have weaknesses. I’m autistic and this show, along with animals in general, are my hyper fixation. This show will always hold a special place in my heart. Two brothers who can create a show so wholesome and so educational that it rarely talks down to audience deserve to have a species of mantis named after them.
OMG ANIMALS ARE MY SPECIAL INTEREST TOO! I love Wild kratts, so much. wild kratts and Octonauts are such an influence on me as a person. (also Geronimo stilton, Oh man. love that scribo.) :> Hope you have a wonderful day! :D
It's Chris, no question just an answer. Also I feel like the villains really helped this show and it was always fun to watch them use multiple animals which I wished they did more often cause a Lemar can only do so much for entertainment.
This show was absolutely GOATED. I remember coming home from elementary school and this show would always be on around 4-4:30. I honestly feel it's what sparked my love for learning about animals and that spread into astronomy for me as well. I also have a really fond memory with the games since I would often play them on my school's computers when I didn't have anything else to do or needed to stay inside when it got cold out (I got sick easily during the winter when I was younger) those and the Electric Company games were some of my absolute childhood.
This show is honestly what got me started with my obsession with animals and the natural world, which has led me to were I am now, studying to be a wildlife biologist and conservationist in college.
I am so glad people still fondly remember this show. For a kids cartoon, especially one of PBS Kids, the show could actually get serious sometimes. Remember the episode where Martin legit has an existential crisis about bringing back the Tasmanian Tiger?
The time travel episodes were my favorites. I always got so sad seeing them go back to the present and open the database, only to find out that they didn't save the animal they were trying to save.
@@QToon92801 My favorite three. I literally forgot this show existed but seeing Aviva in the thumbnail awakened a part of my brain that was dormant for the last decade.
Wild Kratts was the best show in my childhood. I remember coming home from school everyday and getting on my sofa and watching Wild Kratts when it aired from like 3:30 to 4 and I loved every second of it. The intro, the animation, the characters, the animals, I loved it all. I still watch it time to time, but man this was a nostalgia trip.
As a kid I loved the prospect of them inserting discs into their chestpieces to turn into any kind of animal and get all different kinds of abilities. Also my favorite episode is the episode where their suits were getting hacked and turning red inside
Loved this show as a kid and I still do to this day. My favorite episodes have to be the one with the whales and the squids and the one with the octopus submarine. Truly an iconic series.
Personally I enjoyed when they went back in time. Not only are they teaching kids on the animals we have now (and actually educating not just “these are predators”) but they also teaching us about the animals that did go extinct and not letting those animals be forgotten. I’d personally love to see more of that too
Dude, I remember when I used to play on the PBS website and they had a whole adventure game where you could design your own character and travel around the world, transforming into different animals. Sadly I didn’t get that far and they removed it, but it was such a blast to play!
I specifically remember the yeti crab episode and it had to be my favorite episode and is what got me into marine biology, deep sea biology to be exact! I am forever grateful to Wild Kratts for getting me interested in something I genuinely love doing. also Zach is The Wild Kratts version of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and he was my favorite villain from the show.
I love how you have all these different characters you got chris and martin, the adventurers you have aviva, the smart one who makes all the gadgets and stuff koki, the ship's mastermind and jimmy, the only one who can drive
I wanna say something about the villians because, its been in my head for months. Ever since I watched the new episodes to see how they're doing, I took note on the villians of the show and how Donita is the most disturbing villian. Ok, Zach makes robots and puts animals in to it to make it function. Gordon captures and creates food, whether or not they are endangered and there have been a lot of occurances where that has happened in reality. Paisely just shoos animals away to make it her property. Those three are really common now (sadly). Now, Donita captures animals and makes them a part of her closet. LIVE animals, all frozen and for her to wear. That is criminal and cruel to a whole new level! Yeah, economy, robots and endangered species being hunted is bad but THIS LADY made a dress out of LIVING dracos, butterflies, a whole LIVING cheeta scarf, etc. Donita just scares me because she doesnt care about the living wildlife she proceeds to make as a fashion line for her brand. I am heavily thankful that Dabi is her servant because, he's dumb and cant do shit. He cant skin a lizard alive, he cannot do these acts of cruelty because he has a heart. GLADLY. I'm really surprised of how Wild Kratts snuck in this lady of monstrosity, props to them. And if your thinking about skinny pale man, Zach is a runner up to the morbidity because he uses live animals too but, I'm only highlighting Donita. Edit: I know the actual name of the new villian Paisely Paver
I loved wild kratts as a child, but one thing that made me love it more was that even though it was filmed in Canada and was a show looked upon world wide, it felt like an Australian show with all the animals looked upon, and the Australian episodes were my favourite. yes I was born in Australia but if I were to I'd probs watch the whole show
Honestly this was definitely a good time in my childhood. Wild Kratts had education value, the animation was smooth, and all around was a pretty dang good show. Although the villains weren’t really that threatening. Like “Oh I want to make all frogs my slaves because the wild rats threw a frog at me when I was five!” This one villain called Pasley Paver, who names their kid that? No wonder she doesn’t have a job but she is short I could kick here and her skull would break open. Beside that Wild Kratts is pretty dang good.
Never watched this because I was already grown up when the tv show came out. It kind of looks similar to another cartoon that came out a year later which involved 2 kids looking for foods from different kingdoms.
Thats PBS Kids for you, shows with education value and being a Pretty dang good show. The villians may not be threatening but they were still villians, a lot of PBS kids shows don't have villians and usually have some rival for the main character to deal with. I think in recent years a PBS Kids show about kids that are super heros with super powers doesn't even have a super villian, they just solve problems in their little town or school to reach the kids watching different things. Wild Kratts actually had villians that were not rivals and actually were doing evil to animals and the world. It was intresting for kid watching to see the villains after seeing tons of shows with different stories but no villians and then wild kratts comes on and they have villians. So the villians were not world ending threatening like an avengers threats villians but they were able to help the story by them trying to use animals because of their unique abilities which will show us their special features which will add on to the knowledge the Kratt Brothers give out. I can only Remember one other show with the past 10 years that has villians and it was Odd Squad but that show was more about learning math and the villians would cause crimes and oddness and the Agents would need to use math to fix everything. The villians were Pretty good and unique which is what made Wild Kratts a great show for a kid to watch.
@Mr. Kay_27 And the Wild Kratts villians are one of the few villians in PBS Kids. They could probably take out any character in PBS kids unless the characters have powers. The villians also help the people watching understand the animal more because Zack, Donita, and Gourmand (minus Paisley) find animals and use them because of their unique trait and combine that will the Wild Kratts hanging out with the animals an using the animals powers save the day, your definitely gonna learn something from a wild kratts episodes.
@@Slurp_Durp What? It's not a reboot at all, since the show is still going. They announced this via an email in response to a fan's inquiry. The screenshot of their response can be seen on the Wild Kratts wiki
I still remember an episode where Martin falls out of a tree and barely avoids death by grabbing a branch as he falls, then grapples with PTSD for the rest of the episode. Good times 👍
This is like the only kids show I remember watching regularly as a child, I absolutely loved this show! I was always interested in animals and nature, so the fact that the show didn’t talk down to its audience while teaching about them I feel like is a major part of what kept me hooked (the other part being that I actually really liked the characters and some of the drama in the story between the fun bits). I major in ecology behavior and evolution now and just got accepted into a lab focused on evolution, and looking back at this show and remembering how badly I wanted to do what I’m now doing is making me so sentimental ☺️
They actually announced a new season on the Official Wild Kratts Instagram not too long ago. I'm glad this show still exists. It taught me a lot about Animals, and Nature, and I'm glad a younger generation will also have the show to learn about Animals too.
One of my favorite things about Wild Kratts, is that the show had a continuity. Animals and inventions that were used in one episode constantly came back later in the show, whether it was as a cameo, a quick mention, or as a part of the plot. That was something rare in the shows I watched back then.
Bro wild Kratts is goated, one of my favorite shows from when I was younger, a thing I really liked about it was the fact that it wasn't afraid to teach in depth about the animals, they really know how to explain things well to kids in a fun and intriguing way. With the diverse cast of animals, and all the fun characters and humor, it's what makes it truly a great show, it was one of the things that got me into nature and animals in the first place!
That one octopus episode in wild Kratts scared me when I was a kid. I remember it took the power suits and became some giant monster. I was scared of octopi until I finally rewatched the episode when I was 8. The nostalgia in this video amazes me, good work!
@@Sharkkingstudios23 This has to take the cake as the most random and pointless "haha Sonic 06 bad joke" ever. Like what even possessed you to bring it up on a wild kratts vid lmao
My teacher used to play this while we ate lunch. That year, we didn’t eat lunch in the cafeteria, and we ate in the classroom. This show was apart of my childhood. I also used to watch this in 1st grade, in an after school club, called girls club- 💀💀 but not gonna lie it was the best time of my life in that club- we would do crafts and experiments and I remember this one time we tried to see if we could drop an egg off of the roof of the building 💀💀 but back to the topic, this was one of my favorite shows. The show that I remember the most is wonder pets though-
until recently, i only had the vaguest memory of Wild Kratts but i absolutely ADORED it as a kid, it was everything child me wanted in a beautiful, animated package! i was learning about animals, even sometimes multiple at the same time, there was action, colors that worked so well with each other, funny jokes and scenes, and so much more-- i did try watching it again early this year, but got too distracted to keep watching. maybe i'll pick it up again very very soon!
Ah yes, Wild Kratts. A show that I genuinely liked as a kid. Now I still find it enjoyable. I considered it to be one of my favorite PBS Kids shows along with WordGirl, Super Why!, Cyberchase, Nature Cat, and Arthur.
I remember being at the age where I thought cartoons were stupid when the first episodes released. I think I even remember seeing the premiere with my brother after seeing the 'advertisement' sections of the show during the transactions from cartoon to cartoon and actually being interested despite me losing my cartoon taste. I actually enjoyed the show due in part of it not being dumbed down. Probably why I lasted with it as long as I could as a kid. Plus seeing both the bros on Zoboomafoo as well was just icing on the cake for me. Also I think Martin and Aviva were something to my first cartoon crushes lol
I grew up with Zoboomafoo, it was my favorite show back then. The Kratt brothers inspired me alot and now I"m planing to get a degree as a wild animal behaviourist next year. It's been my dream for so long.
I grew up watching Zoboomafoo as a kid (I'm 25, so old) and I remember being pleasantly surprised to see my younger cousins watching the Wild Kratts cartoon. It was nice seeing the Kratt brother's legacy live on in a modern and visually appealing way, and it was part of the reason I started making educational animated content myself :D
Okay but I'm pretty sure we have the same memories of Aviva, especially in squid episode (that wetsuit 😍). But seriously though that's so true about how they don't treat the audience like idiots. Probably like 90% of what I know about animals is from this show, but not because they preached it at me. It was like my two friends or brothers were like "hey I found a cool creature in the backyard let's go learn more about it together". Great show
I first found out about my love for animals while watching Zoboomafoo. I LOVED it. So of course when Wild Kratts came out, it became my new favourite show. During present day, I’m taking a course on animal healthcare, with a project to work in an wildlife preservation/rehabilitation center. All cause of Zoboomafoo. The way Chris and Martin (and all the directors, writers, and ect) made a documentary fun for kids with all the jokes and how enthusiastic they were, made me stick around and watch more, and shone my career path ahead of me
I’m really glad the Kratt brothers are still putting out quality stuff for kids. I grew up on Zaboomafoo and I think that and the Crocodile Hunter is what sort of set the foundation for a love of biology.
Dude, along side Ninjago and Backyardigans, this show was my childhood. This show is the reasons I love nature and animals so much. So glad this video apeared on my youtube recomendations.
I absolutely LOVED this show growing up. Even though I'm 21 now I still watch episode on RUclips just because I loved the characters, animals, and the cool power suits.
Bruh, I almost went into an animal science career because of this show. I grew out of it, but I still loved the show. I haven’t watched it in a long time. Thanks for bringing back so many memories.
I'm currently studying to become a wildlife biologist and eco-conservationist because of the love of nature that this show instilled in me when I was little.
I grew up with this show! I remember all these episodes! These taught me more than over a decade of school! I also love how different each episode is, it wasn't just: see animal-bad guy ruins everything-hero saves the day it actually added some nature facts, and the comedy was (is) top tier. My favorite villain was Zach, 1 because my brother is named Zach and 2 because he had cool robots, was funny and childish, had cool backstory, and on one episode sounded like he could really use a pet. Finally I even liked the things that weren't necessarily "logical" like the miniaturizer, time trampoline, and the suits, all of wich was entertaining as a kid. all in all, I had a very good childhood
Man, I love this show. I remember the first episode I watched, which was episode 2, about crocodiles. I still absolutely love animals and learning about them. Kratt Brothers, we salute you.
This is definitely one of my favorite shows as a kid. I compare it on the lines of Wordgirl. It’s able to be educational without being boring and balances it with some fun action and adventure. And similar with the animation. It’s colorful to invite kids but not so bright that it feels it would blind you like many kids shows are. And this is an example of what I feel kids shows should be like. Able to educate kids and keep them entertained and have it be something even adults especially parents can like and watch with them
I LOVE this back during the day, use to watch it everyday on PBS after coming back from High School, yes I watch an show meant for elementary schoolers in my teen, don't at me, I learned so much about animals, even about animals I haven't even learned/heard of before, but I especially love those Creatures Power Suits they wore, having the power of an animal isn't that new since I know of plenty of heroes with animals based powers but having a suit that transform you into that say animals was an awesome concept to me.
I was already in high school when It came out. I only figured out what it was because of some cartoon about a girl and boy whose face looks like Danny Phantom but with a red t shirt who look for foods from different kingdoms.
@@evolvingdragon1793 aah, that’s what it was. and it think the kid who looked like Danny Phantom was called Leo or something. And the girl was named Elena.
I remember this show. I was outside of the shows demographic (since I was 16 back when it started airing). But I ended up watching it when babysitting my kid brother and baby sister. We had no cable and this was the next best thing we had to watch outside of primetime.
I used to love this show, and several years ago I was actually taken to see them in person (which, at the time, was phenomenal for me). Very fond memories
I loved this show as a kid, it taught me most of the things I know about animals. I even got to meet the brothers at a convention!!! I hope they are doing well 🙂
I love these guys! always kept up to date with their episodes. this show is an absolute classic, and there's so much to it. the characters are so interesting, each have their own persona that you can't help but love them in their own way, the creature power suits are amazing, the fact that we can learn about animals by somewhat living the lives of them, the technology they use, it's all incredible. these guys will always hold a special place in my heart.
That was literally my comfort show as a kid. I don't know if it's still aring hear (Germany) but I remember crying and screaming when I realised that it went of air. I related a lot to Criss. I rewatched a episode at some point and realised that it was properly because he shows symptoms of ADHD. Overall the show was grate 10/10
I loved this show growing up. As a half hispanic white guy, I loved the diverse cast before race swaps and forced diversity and I lowkey resonated with Aviva (because she is smart and she's hispanic). I miss the times when kids shows were entertaining and gave each character their own personalities.
This show and Zoboomafoo were my everything as a kid. As someone who grew up with a love for animals, this series was one of my favorites!! I'm glad people still remember it to this day 💙
for some odd reason i vividly remember being scared of the episode where one of the brothers became an acorn and then a tree aside from that my memories of the show are a blur of animal facts and making bad drawings of the animals on paper and sticking them into pringles lids to make my own creature discs
This show was always my favorite. My sister and I would get home from school just before it started so we’d run to the TV and catch the last 10 or so minutes of World Girl and then Wild Kratts would come on and we’d just be so happy lmao. I still have a lot of random animal facts in my head from that
0:49 I watched the German dub back then (for reasons that are quite obvious) and for whatever reason they always cut out these scenes (except for one single episode).
in the intro there is a scene of them do like a snow boarding trick, I remember every time I watched it wanted to find that episode, like more then anything in the world
These were my hero’s as a kid I’ve always wanted to meet them. They are the reason why I want to become a Zoologist to this day and the reason I chose my major in college.
I'm French and I love Chris and Martin Kratt. It is thanks to them that I began to discover the animal world, when I was six years old thanks to Zoboomafoo. And I still continue today at twenty-two to watch zoboomafoo and Wild Kratt, even if for the latter it is complicated because there are few French versions on the internet, and it is never broadcast on French TV. So I try to watch the English versions, but I don't understand all the information unfortunately. In any case, I will never thank the Kratt Brothers for having made me discover the animal world, and making me want to know more. And thank you for this video, are you going to talk about Zoboomafoo? Sorry my English is not perfect.
Your English is great! though I should mention, "I will never thank the Kratt Brothers for having made me discover the animal world, and making me want to know more." I get what your saying! But it can it is slightly wrong it should be "I can't ever thank" or "I never won't thank" or something along those lines. because what you're saying can be interpreted as "I will never thank you for what you did" as in a mean way. it's kinda like saying "your work is awful, I will never thank you for it." that's kinda what you're saying. though that is totally not what you mean, and I thought I'd point it out. everything else is perfect! though! and I hope you have a wonderful day!
@@Popthebop Very well thank you for the remark, and yes it was not my intention to imply that. Of course, I wanted to say that I had immense respect for their work. I believe that the problem that there was was said to a French expression which was badly translated because when we say: "I would never thank you enough" it meant above all that I might do all the thanks of the world, it will never be enough to thank them for their work. Sorry if it's not very clear again and again my English is not perfect.
@@tibowsky4092 no, no.your English It's Great! :D I just wanted to point it out, in case you didn't know. I really enjoyed your comment though! I relate with not being able to watch Wild kratts in your country. here in the AU We don't even have it, I watched some of it with a American VPN. but I still haven't watched the whole show :( We none Americans get barely Any PBS KIDS shows, we over in the AU get like Arthur and that's it. :( Hopefully one day you get the French translation, like I one day hope we get the rest of the Wild Kratt's in AU Hope you have a nice day! :D
Ah yes, my childhood. When my dad figured out how to download episodes on the iPad, I used to repeatedly watch those few episodes religiously. I credit this show for introducing me to peregrine falcons, and getting baby me so insanely OBSESSED with them. When I went to a bird show (ones with birds of prey, owls, and the like) and one of the birds you could walk around and see was a peregrine falcon. Handlers were offering to take their birds and set you up in a room to take pictures with them, even pet them (on their bellies only, they were conscious of the birds safety). The peregrine falcon wasn’t one of these offered birds because she was more high-strung and not as patient, especially with little kids, you know how they are. Well, little me was on a MISSION, and proceeded to bombard this handler with a hundred dozen peregrine falcon facts, desperate to prove I’d be really good and knew what I was getting into. Somehow, it worked, and now I have a picture of little me holding a peregrine falcon, which I had decreed was the absolute best day of my life. So, thanks wild kratts, I definitely knew a vast majority of my fun facts from you, and I had the best day of my life :P
In my case, I saw this show when I was an old teenager, and at that moment it gave me nostalgia for the original Zoboomafoo, I missed that lemur on the animated show. Now I have nostalgia about that nostalgia XD

To be honest my favorite part is that they go over that things that people and a lot of kid shows don’t explain about animals like how predators are hunting because they die if they don’t, and that some animals don’t live all that long, and that snakes would rather use their venom on prey then on us.

Maybe Paver isn't her real last name
@@okjeffy6581 nutraventures and wild kratts were my childhood

I grew up on Zaboomafoo and I think that and the Crocodile Hunter is what sort of set the foundation for a love of biology.
whats the crocodile hunter?

I believe you forgot to mention the 3rd villain in the show Zack. He would try and capture animals to make them into tec.
don't forget Paisley Paver who wants to get rid of nature I figure the other villains would be against that since where would they their animals from?

You have excellent tastes my friend
Exactly what I watched as a child. I mean, I still watch ninjago, and it's still going on after 11 years. Great show for all ages and not just kids
This show is literally the reason why I know so much about animals. Wild Kratts is my childhood!
I absolutely LOVED this show growing up. Even though I'm 21 now I still watch episode on RUclips just because I loved the characters, animals, and the cool power suits.
I'm also 21 but zoboomafoo was better

I'm studying in college to become a wildlife biologist and conservationist (a path that this show undoubtedly set me on) and I also still watch it.
@@thesharinganknight nah though i loved the show
Bruh, I almost went into an animal science career because of this show. I grew out of it, but I still loved the show. I haven’t watched it in a long time. Thanks for bringing back so many memories.
I'm currently studying to become a wildlife biologist and eco-conservationist because of the love of nature that this show instilled in me when I was little.
Oh man, I forgot this show existed, but now that I remember it again - yes I absolutly loved it as a child.

I’m literally majoring in zoology because of these brothers and this show.
I love how half the comments were about remembering the crocodile ep
This is definitely one of my favorite shows as a kid. I compare it on the lines of Wordgirl. It’s able to be educational without being boring and balances it with some fun action and adventure. And similar with the animation. It’s colorful to invite kids but not so bright that it feels it would blind you like many kids shows are. And this is an example of what I feel kids shows should be like. Able to educate kids and keep them entertained and have it be something even adults especially parents can like and watch with them
I still can't believe this series has taught me more than school.
Same. I relate with all of the above.
I was already in high school when It came out. I only figured out what it was because of some cartoon about a girl and boy whose face looks like Danny Phantom but with a red t shirt who look for foods from different kingdoms.
@@okjeffy6581 I remember that show nutraventur might have spelled it wrong word show
@@evolvingdragon1793 aah, that’s what it was. and it think the kid who looked like Danny Phantom was called Leo or something. And the girl was named Elena.
I remember this show. I was outside of the shows demographic (since I was 16 back when it started airing). But I ended up watching it when babysitting my kid brother and baby sister. We had no cable and this was the next best thing we had to watch outside of primetime.
That's how you know the show is good- even teens enjoy it
Wild Kratts was one of the shows that could appeal to a wide range of ages.
I used to love this show, and several years ago I was actually taken to see them in person (which, at the time, was phenomenal for me). Very fond memories

Aviva definitely awaked something in me as a kid…
NGL same here.
Glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to subscribe!

This is so nostalgic i watched this with my dad alot as a kid im so happy someone talked about it
for some odd reason i vividly remember being scared of the episode where one of the brothers became an acorn and then a tree
aside from that my memories of the show are a blur of animal facts and making bad drawings of the animals on paper and sticking them into pringles lids to make my own creature discs
This show was always my favorite. My sister and I would get home from school just before it started so we’d run to the TV and catch the last 10 or so minutes of World Girl and then Wild Kratts would come on and we’d just be so happy lmao. I still have a lot of random animal facts in my head from that
I love had so many of us kids across America had virtually the same childhood, I had two sisters tho lmao

Honestly, for the past weeks I've been watching this show for nostalgia sake.
I'm a bit older, but I also adored this show, mostly cause I was just happy to see the Krat brothers again after zaboomafoo ended.
Finally, another distinguished gentlemen who's first love was Aviva
In my case, I saw this show when I was an old teenager, and at that moment it gave me nostalgia for the original Zoboomafoo, I missed that lemur on the animated show. Now I have nostalgia about that nostalgia XD
