I feel like the soft enrage will start at 3:30 but in the part where people start dying, the hard enrage, will be from 4:13 onwards. Looking back over the other ultimates, the full enrage is about 1 minute from start to end.
@@tpkarclight3118 there's 8 chants, so it would be super cool if each player gets targeted (maybe by loop or something) and takes a few seconds to die, so it has the same effect as ultima and alexander where dots can kill, and it fades to black on the final part of "ascension"
honestly, i had no idea the lyrics were english until now. i'd assumed it was vague latin chanting that would only make sense later reading translated lyrics on a wiki like White Raven Rises.
I absolutely love this fight, so much goes into it. Ill be honest I never felt any challenge in FFXIV up to this point and that includes the other Omega version. Ill definitely be doing the Omega Ultimate thats for sure
Very high chance it's the final phase music for omega ultimate. It's a version that doesn't appear in-game and would be perfect for such a phase. And they have a habit of using the orchestrals in ultimates. Dragon-King Thordan used an orchestral version of Revenge Twofold, Perfect Alexander used Moebius orchestral version, Ultima Weapon Ultimate used the orchestral version of its theme. It's a very strong trend.
Perfect time to try it, then. This is the last ultimate we will get for the next 2-3 years. 7.0 isn’t expected until summer 2024 and then who knows how long after that for them to release the next ultimate. It’s going to be slightly less hard and a bit less long than DSR, but more than likely still just as challenging to learn. Go for it.
Ultimare are hard. But they're only too hard for you as long as you don't go in and actualy do it. Like every ff14 boss, you learn it step by step, and in the end you'll succeed.
Oof, u picked the wrong ultimate for your first try on ultimates 😂 its probably recognized as one of the hardest ultimate right now, due to it emphasizing on priority system and unforgiving recovery for any mistakes made in any mechanics
That being said, you can always dip ur toes in and get a feel for it! Try to get a support group for encouragements from time to time. This fight will tear you down frfr.
@@ryantai6116 DSR was my first ultimate and while it was extremely difficult I still ended up beating it in about 3-4 months. There’s a lot of “ultimate raiders” that are actually pretty bad and got carried through UWU/UcOb from what I’ve seen so I say just go try whatever ultimate you want. If someone’s first ultimate is TOP and they’re extremely consistent I’d rather play with them than a triple legend who has terrible consistency
frustrates me that they dont give some songs proper lyrics until these orchestral mixes and then never give it a ingame orchestrion roll. id start doing ultimates just to blast people with this and the orchestral version of wyrm's tail when they enter my home
I need the help of the heavens now 1 things I've been going all over the place impending judgment warning warning not much time left I want to go to a land of Paradise total annihilation well the wickedness everywhere on this planet bye
Why people like Omega or any of these fights is so beyond me. Everything else about the Omega trial series was excellent except for the parts that had Omega itself.
Funny, most people I know say the exact opposite, that everything before Midgardsormr/O10 does a disservice to the quite literal direct references that they are. Even I personally was… disappointed, to say the least, by the lack of difficulty compared to most normal trials at the same level or real importance on the fights themselves despite loving them. And where there was difficulty, the difficulty usually stems from the mechanics not exactly being obvious… Doomsday/O2 in particular still requires a guide for most newcomers to even understand just because of how poorly telegraphed that fight is. As for Midgardsormr and the two Omega fights themselves, it’s this very difficulty done right. The mechanics are easy to learn (though Koji Fox got in major trouble for translating Omega’s left and right arena-wides as “starboard” and “larboard” attacks despite every other translation being direct about it being left or right), but they require a lot to master. The Savage fights are also out higher, but O12S especially is something revered, Hello World still being seen as a mechanic that, as most players who have done it properly will attest to, was so precise yet so amazing and rewarding. It’s something that haunts their dreams smiling at them, and they smile back. Maybe sweating a bit too lol. This isn’t to say I don’t get where you’re coming from either. I was in a similar, albeit different boat when I first completed them. I thought it was a downgrade to Alexander which at least kept the FF9 references in tact and treated them with respect while still being fun, engaging and easy to understand. Omega by comparison only gave me one good thing after I completed the normal though, aside from music, and that was a fulfillment on lore from FF5, well before the raids took place when it fought Shinryu and finally gave us proof to the book in the library in that game which mentioned they had fought and hated eachother. I didn’t like the fights, as I mentioned, I found them bland and tactless or way too difficult without clear tells. After getting through to endgame back in Shadowbringers and looking back however, realizing how many mechanics were hinted at in those raids even compared to Alexander. Hell, even compared to Eden so far given so few have returned in Endwalker. And it allows me to really see the beauty of them in a new light. As well as the Savage fights finally providing the challenge I longed for, even when I did them Unsynced.

We know why we are here now
YES! HELLO WORLD ULTIMATE VERSION
@@scoobyElinguisa Sadly Hello World is the easiest part out of all those 6 phases.
4:13 hard enrage:

This is our escape - DPS dies
This is our escape - DPS dies
This is our escape - DPS dies
This is our ascension - last DPS dies
I'll be big mad if they don't do this
4:08 enrage cast
How on Earth does this man keep cranking out such grand, operatic music???
“Disregard! Objective incomplete!”
God i love how 2:56 kicks in when Omega refused to be defeated (TOP) and gets back up again! chefs kiss
I got to that part in pf last night and just cranked the BGM to max
3:29 best part. 👌 🎶
The chanting from 4:13 onward best begin when enrage starts to cast for TOP
It better be

The original version was all the orchestral versions get real lyrics if they didn't have them
So excited to hear this rendition in the ultimate!
Sike this isn't the Final Phase song > Torn From the Heavens (Orchestral) Is what you're looking for
I guess I’m ready to hear this for many, many hours progging this fight, lol.
Omega has such epic themes that we don't even need a new track for the Ultimate. Just play this.
this is the orchestral arrangement though, and past ultis have orchestral arrangements as final phase tracks 🤔
@@meissen1337 Yeah I know, the track played in O12 is slightly different. Still a masterpiece though.

This aged sooooo nicely
Could not have aged BETTER
Watch, the enrage mechanic will be like "Error 90002" or "Error 404"! Ultimate troll move, right there.
If only we could get these in game without buying the album
This game a strong touch of ff8 with squall. I love it!
I nut if 4:12 is the enrage, cause there are exactly 8 chants
You are really underrated!
