Come on Chris build one with a lid!!! I know you got the other grill that has a lid, but waiting for you to build a working lid on this. Obviously it will only work a certain heights but would be nice to have
@@pangelo4023 you can just flip the lid over, won’t take away from it being a SM. I just want a lid so it doesn’t get wet, plus just got my SM from LSG going to build a lid for it
Absolutely amazing!! The beauty of getting a custom grill from LonestarGrill. They are always improving on their already great products and staying ahead of their competitors.
Thanks Mr. Goodlander, been going nuts watching everything Lone Star Grillz has to offer. Torn between the 48" offset and IVS. Then again, I really like the versatility of your adjustable charcoal grill ( I can't find much information on other than your showcasing) but very interested. And now with the little upgrades to the Santa Maria I'm looking at this in a different light. Not much of a fan of the pellet smoker but actually waiting patiently for this to come out. Just for simplicity of it and the fact it's probably the mother of all pellet grills knowing your reputation from all thing's you and your company manufacturer. Sorry for the long comment. Just starving for more information, on the adjustable and the pellet grill.
I'm currently waiting for my Large IVS,really looking forward to getting it. I had a few things that were different then normal and you told me to give you a call to remind you of those changes when you folks say it's about to get started so looking forward to talking again hopefully in the next few weeks. I have been thinking about getting your Santa Maria, mostly for at site catering events. I believe you're unit would be a show stopper, especially with the off road wheel package. But I think on site cooks will still be problematic this year due to covid. But for this year I'm really looking forward to seeing how much I like the IVS. I know I'll be ordering another smoker this year for my catering business, just not sure if it will be a second IVS or your large two door offset cabinet smoker. Ahhh, decisions, decisions 🤔 👍
@@BabyBackManiac hey Justin, despite being during the big game time I very much enjoyed your time Sunday with Ricer . I learned a lot about both you and what to do with Y Tube. Thank you. Now to the serious problem. Not only might I in the end do exactly that, purchase all of them. I still intend for my own personal use to get a offset. I really like the way yours is set up with the warming box. Add the all terrain wheel package and it would be great on the deck AND out on the competition field. Anyway, hopefully when we get a better handle on this Covid situation I would like to invite you, moma Maniac and your "stunt" double up here for some salmon fishing. Until then stay safe and keep up your great work, it is greatly appreciated. 😃👍🔥🎣
I love the new modular grate system, so many possibilities. Hard to believe, but I had never heard of Lone Star Grillz until Abom79 got his smoker last summer. If anybody knows about grillin' and smokin', not to mention quality metal fabrication it's Adam Booth. I'm sold! We just finished a complete overhaul of our patio and backyard, and I hope to have a new grill and smoker sitting out there before summer. I just have to figure out exactly what I want. This could be harder than ordering a new car. :)
@@lonestargrillz Yes, I've got a bunch of questions. The biggest one on my mind right now is whether the offset horizontal smoker or the offset cabinet smoker would be best for me. I've watched a ton of video reviews and I still can't decide.
Well thought out grate system! I love the stainless steel option! Such a versatile grill with all these new upgrades
is there a way to raise and lower the rotisserie?
Those new grates are awesome.
Thanks Justin
Love all the upgrades and improvement options Chris! I see a Santa Maria Grill joining my LSG 24x48 w/ vertical & warming oven real soon!
Sounds good just let us know when your ready.
Looks really great, but it needs a height adjustable rotisserie...
GRATE Job. LOL ... Srsly though. New grate system is very nice looking. Can you put the off road wheels on the Santa Maria Grills ?
Yes we can add the off road package to the Santa Maria Grills

Santa Maria is open flame cooking. A lid defeats the purpose of it being a Santa Maria grill.

Wow. That is one serious grill.
Thanks
Waiting for my new grill to be delivered
Received my new grill , did the burn in and going to my first cook on the Santa maria grill
Please let us know how the first cook goes, we love getting pictures as well.

Awesome! What is the overall height with the 20" crank wheel attached? Also, is it removable for transporting?
Man I got mine last year and would of loved the modular grate system. :(
I wish we had it last year also but the good news is that the new grate system will fit your grill also.
When build my outdoor kitchen, I am going to need one of these
Makes me hungry for some Santa Maria style BBQ
Really like the new grate features and with so many options the cooking techniques are endless!! GRATE update!!
Send me the link for buy thank you

Why would one go for stainless steel grates over carbon steel grates on a grill or smoker?
Could be personal preference or possibly its used in a commercial application and its required by the health department.
@@lonestargrillz thank you. I didn't even consider that before 👍
Thats a great idea now....the griddle idea is the bomb!!
Thanks
Question..can you weld/splice two griddle plates to make 1..then just have the bar grates to make your 3 for the 60 inch santa Maria??
That's it, I'm sold.
Those are really well built! Would love to have one ! Maybe one day
