I never get bored watching someone unpack there Lone Star Grillz smoker. Congratulations, she’s a beauty. Love the off-road package.
Lone star Grillz makes a great product! Take care... Socks and Crocks... might look good on a t shirt.
I ordered the same exact set up on June 25th. Just got the email that they are starting. Anxiously waited 16 weeks for that email. Next email will say "its ready". I opted to go pick mine up and save money, we live less than 3 hrs. away from Willis, Tx.
Great you had that option... I just found my invoice from a couple years back and I paid almost $450 to have mine shipped to Delaware. (Ouch)...
Man I just use my Weber to cook everything. It’s so so versatile and affordable.
Cook 4 briskets, 3 racks of ribs and 3 pork butts on your weber. I love my weber, too, but let's be honest, here.
I literally subscribed because of the “socks and crocs”
Haha, epic.
Me too! He owns a LSG thats instant sub!!
I want to buy one but dont have a fenced back yard. How do you keep this from growing legs and getting stolen? Do you put it up after each cook? Secure it to the ground somehow?
@@timcapell put a tire boot on it! Haha
I’ve been stalking the lone star grillz for a while now. Hopefully ordering one soon. It may be another “boring video” but I’d love to see how well the off-road kit does off roading and turning.
Fair enough. Look for it in the next few weeks. Theres a rib, tri tip, brisket, and ok joe vs LSG vid in line before it. But not a bad idea at all. Thx.
It looks like it comes with a handle going off the front, but you didn't mention it. The wheels look very cool!
Nice!! I’m mixed between the 20x42 and the 20x36 LSG. They ain’t cheap and wanna make the best decision. Lol. They are supposed to be super easy to maintain a good fire and have not a heard a bad word about them. I know you’ll enjoy yours!
I love my 20x42. If I had a little more money, I'd have went with a 30" cabinet model. Just for the huge capacity. But this sone works just fine for my needs at the moment.
Love your style man! Ordered an IVS large and so I have been stalking their vids. Came across yours. Long story short... new sub. Thank you, for being you my good sir
Love the way you do your video, looking forward to your cooks. I have a 24 offset verticale on order with LSG
Noce. That was a close second choice for me. I'm sure you'll love it!
Boring Tickles video?! Lies!
I love my LSG 20x42! Great video!
Probably a serious longshot here given the age of the video, but what are the full internal dimensions of the firebox? I know the width was 19.5", but what about depth and height?
Did you have any problems with turning? Just got mine last night and I noticed it would only turn about 45 deg either way.
That seems to be the standard. It works for me though.
Thank you for responding so quickly!!
I’m looking at this same unit. A Cpl questions. With the off road package do you have any issues opening the lid due to height or weight? I’m 5’8” tall. Easy to roll around and put on/ off a trailer to haul?
!stripes
Just got mine about a month ago. Best purchase ive made in years. Already did two cooks, and i am impressed! The juiciest brisket ive had and the ribs were i have to say “perfectly cooked “ or at least to my taste.
I basically have the exact same one as you except the big wheels. Loved the video
-50 DKP for socks and Crochs
I'm 3 hours from Lonestar. When I get mine it's getting a "BBQ Uber" ride from moi.
I came here for the socks and crocs.
OMG! Mookiepoo does youtube!
What I want to know is... do the front wheels turn?? How do steer this 500 lb. beast?
Great video, I just received my Lone Star Grill and wanted to get my game plan together for uncrating it and your video helps alot. Be sure to check me out 👍🏿Hopefully you'll throw up some more videos of your cooks on the LSG. I subbed so I'll be looking out for you... Keep Smoking!!
looks good dood! i got the 36"with the same options..got about 75 cooks on it and love it....cookin on it now
Does the tires have air in them? I don't like tires with air as you constantly have to check them to make sure it is level for the grease and they tend to dry rot over time!
Man, that Off Road Package looks sweet!!!!! You went ALL Out!!! I need to get a Lone Star Grill but a 20x36 with All the Bells and Whistles!!!! I won't ever need to buy another grill. Thanks for sharing how it was shipped. I wondered how it was shipped!
Glad it helped.
Far from a boring video I'm getting the exact same smoker coming in tomorrow morning
Hey bud! Looking for insight on the off road package. Is the limited turning radius a pain? Would you do it again or go with 8” casters instead? Really love the looks & honestly that’s the only reason I’d do it, just don’t want it to be irritating every time I move it lol! Thanks for any input!
I like it and would do it again. But it is necessary for me as mine lives off road/off patio.
The limited turning radius is a PITA but it's not a deal breaker imo.
@@BSBBQ Thanks bud 👊🏻
I’ve watched this video so many times just waiting patiently for mine to get built and shipped. Two more months 😂😂😂😂😂
I did the same waiting on mine. I get it. Lol.
Just found you and subscribed. My 30” vertical offset shows up in a few days and was boning up on seasoning. Thanks for sharing and look forward to your other videos.
Awesome to hear. I'm super jealous. That's the model I had my eye on but was a little short on the funds for it. I absolutely love my 20x42, though. Only thing I "settled" on was space. I've yet to run out. Enjoy your LSG!
Love unboxing of an American made beast with crocs and socks!!! Nice offset brother!!! 👍👊🇺🇸
Crocks n' Socks! 🤣😂
"Woman tight" is just her getting her man to tighten it.
Lol
when they delivered it did they take it onto your property, or do they just go as far as the street
Backed right up to the garage. But it likely depends on your property/street and the driver.
Awesome cooker 👍🏻
Thanks for the video, this is basically the exact setup I’m looking to order and I’m glad to see it
Glad I could help. I hadn't seen ONE with the off road package. Figured Id be the first. lol
Always go front to back
Congrats if I ever get an offset that is the one I am getting.
Its outstanding. Couldn't love it more.
thanks for the great review
I would have liked to see the actual delivery! How did you get that crate into the garage??
It came in a box truck with a lift gate. I had to have the driver hand me down the palate jack because there was no room to keep it on the gate. Then we just wheeled it into the garage on the jack. No big deal at all.
Hey your video may be boring for some people, but not for me I eat that stuff up for breakfast I love it you really did a detail video on the Lone Star Grill.
That is one sweet looking offset smoker I'm jealous, I'm saving up my ducats to get me one someday.
I know you are going to have some awesome Cooks on that Beast.
Are the tires inflatable?
Let go Brandon, not f Joey B.
Yeah gotta say - not boring at all- love the look of the off-road package. Great initial walk through
Well done! Not boring because I'm buying this smoker. Would love to see you move this around the yard. It would be helpful to see how it handles and if I need an $800 upgrade.
If you're going to be moving it along grass regularly, you'll want the upgrade. I'm doing a cheap vs high end smoker comparison video soon, ill pull it around in that one.
@@BSBBQ Thank you. I will buy the upgrade and your video sealed my purchase decision.
@@markkalish2288 Awesome! Be sure to let LSG know that. Haha.
One thing I say is never trust a skinny cook!
Then my video must be legit. Lol
Amazing video broda~ How do I order one??
Go to lonestargrillz.com
Opposite: control temp with damper and keep fire box as open as possible. This will not only render fat but produce CLEAN smoke. Your welcome.
If ya don't mind, I'm gunna go ahead and listen to the man who designed, and fabricated them.
ordered the exact same pit, mid may
Congrats! I hope you get it before mid aug. It was 12-13 weeks before I got mine, after shipping.
Great video. I think this is the exact setup I want to get. How long did it take to get to you from the time you ordered?
About 12 to 13 weeks. Covid slowed them way down. I ordered mid March.
Lone star grills rules✌🏾
What made you get the Lone Star over the Yoder Wichita? I'm looking at both. Great review!
All the great reviews. This pit is amazing. I literally start it up, and every 40to 50 min it needs another 2 half splits. I use one fruit and one hickory or oak. It runs like a frigging dream.
Hey man you do you! I'm glad I subscribed!
The claim to fame on these grills is there venturi/deflector plate technology, but you didn't show us the damper setup.
Heck, in this video I hadn't even run it. I didn't even know where to set it, but I do talk about it in future videos.
@@BSBBQ people are saying there are deflectors within both the fire box and cooking box. i thought it was only in the cook box. .
@@Jhovan33 on the 20" model, there is a plate a couple inches away from the firebox opening to the cook chamber that somehow sends the heat up and recycles it around. I will do my best to show it on the next video I film.
@@BSBBQ you would be a pioneer in revealing the secrets of this smoker!
Where didyou get it from and what was the cost
Lonestargrillz.com and cost was about 3k shipped.
That Frankenstein in the background is soooo cute. Wherever did you get it?
My mother-in-law is extra as hell and does this thing where she makes HUGE over-sized characters for holiday decorations.
B'S BBQ I think she sounds delightful.
@@BSBBQ Talk about extra... those wheels lul
When did you order it
And when did you receive it?
March 17 and it shipped out to me June 15.
Once I saw the offroad, I left.
Bye falicia.
@@BSBBQ Different strokes for different folks. If you want you grill to look like a golf cart that is all you my man.
I have the LSG PeeWee verticle and that exact offset (minus the offroad package). Great smokers with incredible build quality. I know you'll enjoy it. Congrats!
I WISH I could afford the IVS large. That would be so nice to throw a brisket on there and take it off 12 hours later without stoking the fire every 45 min...
@@BSBBQ I love that about the PEEWEE IVS... VERY efficient.... LSG Pellet smoker is now on the way too : - )
I dont think you put the gasket on 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
