    I’m on my second order. Stuff is beautiful. I laid down a mixture of fine and ultra fine with the flake king. Then I sealed it with 5 coats of uc21. My next stage is sanding it down. I kinda wish I put more clear on. Hope it don’t dull the shine.

    Dino what tips on spraying with a regular spray gun mixed with intercoat or clear coat

  • @gbresaleking

    Your work is incredible ! If i wanted to flame or pinstripe on top of the crushed glass , would I just go over it with another coat and then wet sand it with like 800 then spray flames or candy and then flow coat top lastly ?

    Hey Dino,
    Do you think some of the finer grit glass would spray in a clear basecoat out of a gun with a 2.0 tip? I'm trying to avoid using a flake gun on my upcoming project.

  • @Toms_Channel

    And what happens to the sparkling when you cover it with candy? It sparkles more than flakes, but flakes also lose a lot of sparkle when you cover them… imo it is a bit of a false comparison with the candied flakes and clear glass.
    I thought the glass was ridiculously pricey, but after seeing the sparkle it produces i just might use it instead of flakes from time to time…

    • @dinosstyle7788
      @dinosstyle7788 2 года назад +1

      The glass still shows its characteristics even as a base for over laying candy paint. Of course the color, hue, and saturation will effectiveness. A good example would be a yellow candy vs a dark blue. I've personally shot a full spectrum of candy colors and fades of the glass and they all still had a noticeable difference when compared to flake. Don't take my word for though. Try it for yourself with a test panel and share your review with us.
