To my surprise after failing art in junior high school he and I talked and he was pissed at what I wasn't correctly taught and he had me drawing like crazy when I thought I was incapable. Absolutely freaking stunning bro! As a certified welder myself that performs a lot of custom TIG work which is an art in itself as well I have to say you have an amazing skill. I'm really disappointed in the almost 200 people who gave this a thumbs down. Apparently they have never tried to paint a motorcycle let alone get the tape on one side match the other.
I agree this mans an artist, it's not my cup of tea, but I can still see the beauty in his work and the design he has created, It's a real 70s look in my opinion.
Awesome to see where this paint job came from.!. I used to paint lowriders but grew a dislike for the game.. I always appreciate the artwork of others !!! I am working on a two tone brandywine and purple which requires me to mask over the purple before spraying the brandy. I have the base coat (heavy flake) clear costed and tape line to separate colours. Any assistance would be great

I noticed when you mix the kk with the Clearcoat base you don't use a hardener. Is it because the clear base does not require a hardener? Because the shopline clear I have requires a .5 hardener ratio.

I’m having a hard time finding someone to apprentice me to learn to paint. I’m a truck driver by trade but my passion is working on motorcycles and I want to learn to paint. I don’t want money I just want someone to freaking teach me lol

I'm a wheelchair user and just thinking custom jobs on wheelchair frames and things like walking sticks would be great, one or two wheelchair companies kind of do it, they have certain designs they can do but it's a rare thing, the market for it wouldn't be huge though.

A guy on the Gold Coast in Australia back in the '70's used do this sort painting on bikes. Cutting edge stuff back then. If you want to see some examples of it, check out the movie here on YT. It's called "Stone". A classic '70's outlaw biker movie for it's day albeit they rode Kwaka 900's. He did a few mates bikes too quite similar to what your video has but different colours of course. Nice to see your carrying on the art.

Just stumbled across this video of yours . before I graduated in 97 I took a 3 year course in auto collision repair and I can do custom paint jobs . Nice job by the way😎🤘🏁. I did a custom paint job on my dads 75 super glide harley chopper . Even you know this your suppost to put your light colors down first and dark colors after since it takes less coats of light colors. well I did the opposite. I layed down a few coats of blackon the tank and fenders then when cured I wet sanded each layer . once cleaned I used thin pin striping tape and layed out flames on the tank and 2 fenders . then masked off the rest I didnt want painted . I had to lay down several coats of yellow to get the color to fully coat and be brite. then I used blood red and painted the tips and around the inner curves . whats cool is the light over spray of the red when it hit the yellow turned orange. once I got the flames painted I let the paint fully cure and peeled of the masking and pin stripe tape . then I wet sanded the flames mainly the edges to blend . well once I got to where I wanted the tank and fenders I did sever coats of clear and each got wet sanded . once finished I polished the clear coat . the fenders and tank looked like they where dipped in glass and the process gave the flames a 3D effect like they are trapped and when you run your fingers over the flames you can just barely feel them and their smooth 😎🤘
1991 we painted motrcycle helmets a couple of old bass boats old 15 ftrs bumper covers on cars just a hobby back then for me making model railroad scenery 3d model printing
I am watching these paint jobs for almost 7-8 year always wondered how they do this. I used to think like a very patient man with finest paint brushes do the job. This Is very satisfying as If I found secret of life 🧬😂
Killed it! What air brush gun are you using? I paint planes but they’re single stage so and the graphics aren’t fancy so there’s not much detail or skill involved lol. Looking into doing harleys seeing as how I ride and have a lot of friends who ride. Lmk what guns your shooting with and thanks for showing everyone the technique. A lot of people won’t show the secrets.
I have another question and probably more to come😬😆did you use any bleed checker after the first paint or before masking the weave pattern the second time or is it because I'm using createx candy 2o so it tells me on the bottle. As always awesome stuff 🤘👍

About the airbrush you’re using. What is the nossel/tip size? And airpressure, how many PSI do you prefer to use? Big thanks in advance 🙏🏻
.035 tip size. I spray anywhere from 12-25 psi through my airbrush

.035 needle size. I use Iwata.
Killed it! What air brush gun are you using? I paint planes but they’re single stage so and the graphics aren’t fancy so there’s not much detail or skill involved lol. Looking into doing harleys seeing as how I ride and have a lot of friends who ride. Lmk what guns your shooting with and thanks for showing everyone the technique. A lot of people won’t show the secrets.
