Just saw, I was reviewing some saved vids after my back pain flared up again, I went through therapy with one of the very few people who are certfied by Dr McGill as a master clinician. I guess it helped, hard to separate treatment from healing from the passage of time. A very qualified neurosurgeon reviewed my imaging and examined me and felt I was not a surgical candidate, I have more radiation into the foot and ankle of the limb opposite the worst findings. I did have an RFA at L4 and 5 on one side. Didn't help that much. I am going back into PT at the place where that surgeon and the pain mgmt guy is who did the injections. I figure that since all they do is spine, they may help. I have so much material, I have some courses on nerve flossing and fascia excercises, I have McGill's book, he really is not into stretching at all but I may integrate some of that in.

Seventy year old male with lumbar stenosis here. Intriguing interview! I'm better educated for it. Thank you, Gentlemen

Thanks for this interview. I’d love to hear O’Sullivan and McGill in the same podcast debating their points of disagreement.
It does seem to me based on the various interviews that O’Sullivan doesn’t categorize patients as much as McGill, which makes me think he’s maybe not as good a clinician, using more one size fits all “biopsychosocial” model
