Am I the only one that interpeted it as Guts stopping the sword and not Griffith? Every strike from Guts has been fazed thorugh so he stops the swing before impact as to not, you know, split Casca in two.

Guys, how many times must I explain this, Skull knight isn't in the latest chapters because after he thought Berserk was canceled, man had to find another gig to keep paying the bills and his baby mamma, so he moved to a new show, Skeleton Knight in another world, a generic forgettable Isekai, but something that'll make him money. Stop asking where SK is, he moved on smh.

When I saw that I assumed Griffith thought that Guts was more of a threat to Casca than he is at that point, assuming that Griffith at the very least can control both his "human" and demon side. And he's making a point by showing that he tried protecting Casca while Guts is the aggressor. Griffith is in control of the situation so he has nothing to fear, unlike in chapter 36 where Griffith wasn't able to take advantage of Guts' typical brashness.

A theory of mine is that Griffith was the one at play whenever it came to Casca. Unlike the scene at the hill of swords, there wasn’t an immediate danger that would’ve entailed a protective instinct from the moonlight boy. It still could’ve been him just because the boy is trying to comfort Casca but I very much view it as a move on Griffith’s end.
Another theory I have is that Griffith is going to take or attempt to take Casca captive. Because now that he has been pretty much discovered by Guts, that complicates everything they had going on up till this point. The façade of this mysterious boy who is attached to Guts and Casca has been broken and it is uncertain what Guts and his J-RPG party would do with this new information. More than likely Guts would try to kill or find a way to separate the Moonlight boy from Griffith. However, if Griffith just takes Casca, the Moonlight boy would more than likely only visit Casca, thus removing the threat of Guts and Co. attempting to kill or separate the forms. So it just makes sense in my head that this was entirely a move by Griffith. Maybe with some level of influence from the Moonlight Boy but I only really view this as a tactical decision made by him.

I guess he could have stepped in because he was tired of Guts attacking his lord, or because he wanted to fight Guts for the hell of it, but if that were the case, I think he'd have stepped in sooner. I think that's actually a big part of why there's so little dialog. Plus, I think Mori is being cautious with his writing, just easing into things. I'm sure he's a little nervous about messing things up, so he might be timid with dialog writing for a while.

Think about chapter 366 where Guts first strikes after Griffith in rage but after noticing he can't really hurt him because it's like you want to hit air or water or like that, he goes just nuts and flails wildly like back in the Lost Childen Arc or even further than that. But in 367 he jumps after Griffith back in his "normal" rage after Zodd got him back to mind. But on the other side, we have the panels, where Guts thinks What and his hole body is shaking. Shaking because of his state of body or because of Griffith powers? Is he thinking What because Griffth held in hug on Casca or because he can't slice further? I thing it is pretty good stuff and they handle the story very well.
Sorry for my bad english but I just like it to much to talk about Berserk and my friends are philistines who don't appreciate true art or can't handle Manga or "hard stuff".

I always had the feeling of "there are other powers at work in the world than the god hand" and this is the time to show that. I wish the Flowerstorm King and Skull Knight stand against Griffith like "yeah, you better leave, you're on our turf, and we're gonna fuck you up", and Griffith leaves Caska alone. Show us that there are those who can stand against the God Hand, that they're not the only powerful entities in the world. I'm tired of the "griffith is invincible and he can do whatever the fuck he wants" plot...

I read this chapter over and over and really tried to analyze the panels and I now have a head cannony theory that might have a small chance of being true… the leaves/petals on the tree were brought to Griffith when guts sword was stopped so maybe the tree is some physical way Griffith is able to distribute his power anywhere in the world while maintaining some physical presence in his kingdom at all times. So maybe destroying the tree might make Griffith just slightly weakened enough to kill him. MAYBE

Literally the only issues I’d say these past 3 chapters have had in my eyes is that some of the art looks a lil funky every now and again. Then finally, sometimes the pacing of everything feels a lil off. I know they’ve gone on record to say that they’re pretty much only tackling the story that Miura left but I think that if Miura in the first place gave his blessing and gave Kouji Mori the Berserk storyline, I’d at least like to see Kouji try and bridge events together naturally to maintain a smooth story pace and flow to scenes. The fights feel very choppy which isn’t a big deal to me but I can see it becoming something that will effect the quality of future chapters and Miura’s story very quickly if it isn’t addressed so it’s something I hope at some point gets remedied.
I have really REALLY enjoyed these past 3 chapters though and I think the artwork for the most part, although not quite Miura’s style, is still beautiful and feels like Berserk. Alongside the amazing buildup and payoff that Berserk is known for and keeps us reading.

With Skullknight missing his shot Griffith may cut open his own portal to escape back further into the interstice as the final chapter to wrap the ark.

One thing that sprung to mind when you mentioned the Skull Knight's absence (and @tygersoul pointed out some great things with Casca and the Behelit Guts holds, which tbh I forgot he held in his possession) I have to imagine that we're seeing Guts begin to walk the path of "...the beginning of a dead man stalking the endless night" where Guts will take the place of the Skull Knight.
And considering that the Dragon Slayer whiffed through Griffith every time he swung (I personally think Gut's love of Casca halted his last swing at Griffith) he'll have to wield a modified version of his sword that utilizes the same power as Skull Knight's behelit thorn sword in order to harm Griffith and the rest of the Godhand.

Griffith ultimately used that to his advantage as a way to not only keep track of where casca and guts are but to also get to elfheim with relative easy, cause Griffith is aware of the moonlight boy persona and his transformation every full moon.

Im thinking the next and Final ark will consist of Guts and the Gang trying to Locate Griffith which will be in falconia and when they realize all their past companions and allys have accepted Griffiths new kingdom there will probably be some internal conflict, Griffith will probably have Casca sedated or brainwashed from his powers or so but with the arrival of guts and party particularly Sherike and Farnese being able to get to her mind from an astral point may be able to snap her out of it, for her to realize what is going on and to see guts and Griffith in the same place or probably already fighting will probably remind her of her other lowest emotional point (When guts left the Band of the Hawk) which will probably cause her to emotionally and mentally crack again… WHICH WILL ACTIVATE BETCHY. This will bring them to the God Hands domain where the Berserker armour will most likely fully take hold if it hasn’t already and guts is going to go ape shit, the gang is probably going to try to let guts go crazy while they team up and try to defeat Zodd or Atleast hold him off. We may Even get an Appearance from Skulldaddy himself cus shit will be going DOWN in the astral realm at that point and hes going to know. This is as far as my theory goes, but in retrospect thinking about it, Behelits are activated through THE CORRECT person it was meant for reaching their lowest point of dispair meanwhile Betchy has been sitting in Gut’s pocket for more than Half the story and hes hit his lowest multiple times… The Behelit wasn’t for him, It was fated for Casca.
After this idk cus guts and casca are branded already so they cant be sacrificed again…

Guts is branded and he still has the behelit so i'm assuming he can still use it, and if a branded person can use a behelit why wouldn't a branded person be sacrificed again? She didn't die, since she's still alive I think she can still be sacrificed. Also how do you know becoming an apostle automatically makes you slave to godhand? Guts has the beast of hatred inside him so if he becomes an apostle with that much hate for godhand it's possible he could resist the sire of godhand. Griffith is her "child" and a Godhand so he's off the table, that just leaves Gut's friends. After reading some other comments and thinking a bit about Gut's Behelit I kinda think that out of everyone Gut's may be the one to become an Apostle tbh.
If Guts needed to decide between protecting his friends and saving Casca I think he'd choose the latter, and if he actually wanted to fight Griffith on the same playing field he might need to make that choice and become an apostle (or godhand himself) to combat Griffith. Or things may go as you predict and Casca is set to become an Apostle, but like the Skull Knight did for Guts, Guts may take on the mantle and save Casca from the Eclipse at the cost of his humanity. Seems fairly fitting considering all he's already sacrificed.

The contrast between this chapter and the hill of swords , i think really shows the difference between Miura and the new boys

There’s always been something that bugged me and I’ve never known if it was from Miura’s hand or not. But in the Golden Age Movies, in the eclipse, Guts is able to penetrate Griffith’s force a little bit.
It didn’t happen in the manga, so I always that that was a weird detail to add. Like maybe it was a revision from Miura. And it got me thinking how it’s a hint of how Guts is still able to effect Griffith.
But man did these chapters completely shit on that theory.

I'm not trying to speak for anyone. But maybe they were nervous about drawing SK. Like he's a pretty detailed piece of art to replicate. I'd like to think that's the reason. Perfecting their own skills. Side note what if Griffith did nothing wrong memes fucked with his writing. Have we ever stopped to think to meme or not too meme?

I assumed guts stopped the sword himself so that he didn't slice the lady he spent 200 chapters looking for in half
