I don't believe this is intended for vinyl tops. I know there are products available on the market specifically for that, however I haven't owned a convertible and have only detailed a handful of convertibles (didn't use any conditioner for tops at the dealership).

Does this cause streaks when it rains?
100%, one of the worst coatings I've ever used. Left an oily all over my bed sides after one storm

How often should I do it?
I just applied a plastic restorer to my cover and a ton of insects got stuck to it. Although the cover looks great 🤔
