One thing to note, you don't need to soak the bottle overnight. Just let it sit in a tub of slightly hot water for 10-15 minutes. Then shake it up very well. This ensures the wax is ready. Go EASY on it. You don't need to slather a thick slab. You're just wasting it. I've used mine for a year and the bottle is still over 80% full.
Can a ‘Wash and Wax shampoo’ help in longer retention of Collinite 845’s coating by, say, adding a layer of the so-called wax over Collinite 845’s coat, or will such shampoos harm the wax coating rather than aiding?
My truck hasn't had a wax on it in at least 7 years so the paint is a little oxidized in some areas. Would this stuff help with the oxidation removal or just simply a wax protection??
Yes that is correct. Any excessive wax is removed and a thin transparent layer will remain on the paint. You'll need a clean microfiber cloth to help polish the surface achieving that nice shine.
You really couldn’t figure out how to remove an oily substance from a hard surface??? My god society is doomed. And what are you doing on RUclips without your helmet ?!? You’re going to get hurt !! Helmet back on and get back to licking them windows!

The deep gloss of this wax is superb
Collinite 845 is awesome stuff!
smart idea putting the bottle in some warm water!
Thank you! So far it's holding up amazingly.
I thought this was common sense..

No problem. Just shake it. I've even used it while it was runny. It's great stuff!

Why dont you put a spray instead of open/close this all the time? Btw, its seems to be a nice wax.
Use claybar with soapy water. It could create scratches with water only.
Already covered in another video.
Just spend 10 bucks and get dedicated clay lube like nanoskin glide.,
Remove this with a polisher to impress the customer and finish the buff by hand. Then do the windows and send them on their way!
Great tip, I'll have to try it.
How much pressure do you put while rubbing it in?
Light to medium.
Can you finish it with a buffing machine?
I have the same question. I guess we'll just have to wait.
If you have a dual action orbital machine, use soft wax pad and medium speed. Remove with thicker microfiber, not plush...

Wax is only intended to be used as a paint protectant. To remove the oxidation, I do have a video for that ruclips.net/video/PHVRxwyrOVk/видео.html
Wash it, clay bar or spray it with meguires non acid wheel cleaner
Clay bar
I don’t understand the removing the wax part? After I apply it. Do I like wipe it off after with another towel?

U never heard the saying "wax on, wax off" ??? 😮
