A couple more tips I want to include: 1. There is NO AUTOSAVE in this game! Stop at a telephone booth to save your game, otherwise, you're going to be starting over the next time you log in! 2. In Premium mode, you switch from Kiryu to Majima using the telephone in your hideout: Kiryu's Real Estate Office, or Majima's Club Phone. 3. There comes a part in the game where you might be lost with Majima and have no idea where to go, as there are no indicators. Check the empty lot! 4. After you complete the story you use game clear data to load into premium adventure (the post game free roam) and you can complete any tasks you didn't finish in the main game (substories, minigames, completion list, etc.).
I've watched many guides over the years.... I'm almost certain this is amongst the best narrated and presented guide I've seen. You need to to be hired by a company or sponsored asap!!! Someone please give this fella a shot!

I recently started Yakuza 0. This game is so funny and enjoyable... it takes away my stress from work. looking forward to finish the game before the prime video series starts in October. thanks for the tips.
I just started my 100% Legend playthrough of the series. I just finished my Main Story only playthrough of the series and it was fantastic such a great story and amazing characters throughout. I still need to play Judgement , I'm picking it up next week.
Picked this up free on steam and the pain when using a xbox layout controller since I'm used to PS layout, imagine doing QTE press X or those rythm games
Played it for 4 hours straight.. then my stomach literally dropped when the game suddenly crashes.. Imagine my face when I load exactly at the phone booth in the beginning tutorial area.
I've finally started delving into the Yakuza series starting with this one and fairly hooked at this point. I'm guessing these side businesses are introduced later in the game as I haven't encountered them yet and just moved on to chapter 3 (or was it 4). Some upgrades are extremely expensive and it seems unfeasible to earn that much cash at this point. I'm guessing this is still considered early game and this is normal.
Am I the only one that once like chapter 6 hit I always felt compelled to do the story objectives? I don't think I did a single side quest after chapter 8? I just felt like I didn't have a good point in the story to take a break and do side quests

Yakuza: Like a Dragon (The seventh in the mainline) was sold as an entry point for new players, with a new protagonist, a new setting, and a new style of play. If you're itching to get to IW, you could choose to start there, though there would definitely be references missed and spoiled if you still wanted to play from the beginning. Not that Zero isn't a great game to play; it's one of the best of all time. I just feel that only the most dedicated players will play through the whole series. Some of the PS3-era titles fall out of alignment with mainstream tastes and modern gaming sensibilities. Even if Yakuza 3 is one of my personal favorites.
I just bought and played the game for 2 hours without saving cuz I was thinking it was auto saving... I've to do it all again, hopefully it was mostly skippable long dialogs 😂 but man it feels bad

Not something I remember dealing with specifically, but I do know there are defense items you can equip to protect against slashing. There are quite a few in this table: gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/equipment
The Premium Adventure Mode: You use game clear data to load into premium adventure (the post-game free roam), where you can complete any tasks you didn't finish in the main game (substories, minigames, completion list, etc.).
Hi there. I have finished the game and I loved it so much that I can’t stop playing it. But when I go into premium mode, I can’t select the save file with all the abilities and money that I have at the end of the first play and I do not know what to do
Sorry for the late reply, I think you might have accidentally saved it the wrong way. When starting premium mode a believe an option box comes up asking if you'd like to start from scratch and if you save after that, you lose your progression. You might try loading an earlier save to complete the story again and make doubly sure you don't select that option.
I couldn't find much detail about that. If you do get something, I imagine it will come from Bob. So you might check with him after you complete the battles.
I played the original back in the day when it was released, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. But I never did finish it. Now that I have access to Zero, Kiwami 1 & 2 and Like a Dragon, I figured I’d give them a go. I started with Like a Dragon, and about a couple hours in I got a feeling I needed to play the rest. So I watched a few videos telling me which one to start with and most said it was Zero. So here I am looking for tips lol. Great series so far!
Quick Question for the game though; How do I get random townsfolk to help me out in street fights? The only time I get a guy is when I start a fight in Public Park 3
As far as I know, the only time you're going to have someone help you out in a fight is when you're playing as Kiryu and have hired a security guard as a part of the Real Estate Royale campaign. I believe it's random whether or not he'll show.
You can do it that way if you like. I don't think that normal should give you too many issues. And you can consume the content in any order that you see fit
Depends on how you define the word "farm" I suppose. I don't think there are tasks you can do repeatedly to get more points, but you will accrue points by simply doing substories and completing content.
You need to beat the game on Legendary Mode to get the Platinum trophy, which is the hardest difficulty. You can't retry fights, which means if you get defeated, you have to start from your last manual save. You also can't complete Legendary with New Game Plus, which means you have to start from scratch with no money, weapons, or abilities you've earned before.
@@vitoscaletta3418 Legendary difficulty isn't unlocked until you complete your first playthrough. I believe you can still unlock it playing through on normal. You get the trophy "We Built This City" by completing the Real Estate Royale storyline. I didn't know you could "lose." But you will have to play through the game again if you intend to platinum anyway, so you'll have to complete it then or load a previous save and finish it.
@@ChillKaijuClan thank you so much for the informations. Last question. I must beat the game 2 that what im hearing right? First hard mode then second run legendary ? Please dont tell me i must do the side storys again
Nope, that's not how I would characterize it at all. Apart from there never being a time when you operate vehicles, you never really engage in any sort of criminal enterprise. Though the main story campaign would definitely be considered a crime family/mafia tale, for the most part, you never actually do anything illegal. It's more like a Japan simulator where you go around participating in comedic or emotion-inducing side stories and minigames. The fun of the game is uncovering entertaining pockets of content spread throughout. It's really nothing like GTA.
@@caolanochearnaigh9804 I don't think there's a mainstream Western release that works for comparison. Not one that I can think of. Most people that play it learn to love it, but trying to explain it is difficult. The series is very Japanese and very niche, inspired by classic Yakuza cinema. CP2077 is a completely different kind of animal.
There are way more poorly pronounced Japanese words in this video than that one. I don't know why people have an expectation that I would speak perfect Japanese as a non-Japanese person, but apparently, they do.
