I not oonly Own Hublts but I also have been to their factory in Nyon. Their material research and attention to detail is incredible. I have been to several other watch manufacture factory tours in Switzerland and what Hublot does to create each piece is nothing cheap. They innovated in many ways, They innovated with the first rubber bracelet while taking the heat at launch just to later on see rubber straps on every brand. No one calls this brand out for stealing that from Hublot. In the other hand you have truly overrated watch companies like RM with less history in watch making and much more ridiculous pricing for their pieces. And by the way, for everyone thinking that every company makes everything in house, you are wrong. Most of them, they outsource particular parts, (Bracelets, Clasps, Dials, Hands, gears, springs, etc) to houses that specializes in those components alone. I'm saying this because I have tour some of these component factories. The fact Hublot uses a Sellitas movement or ETA in some of their lower end watches means that your watch has a reliable yet established movement that any watchmaker can service fairly cheap. Buy what you like. Since social media exists, judgement and perception has gone bananas. Watches have become more of an accessory than a time keeping tool... Unless you haven't heard about cellphones.
