I snapped the crown off a Farer cushion case when it was a few weeks old and they took care of it no questions asked. They only had it a couple days or so and used a fast shipping option to send it back literally half way around the world.
First time seeing your videos - I'm stunned someone so nerdy he's obsessed with watches can be so witty and such a great narrator. I'm wondering if I should dare going down the watch rabbit hole
I get a few comments from random people sometimes.. but mostly only I know what I’m wearing. Which it’s probably best for when the wife’s around anyways. ;)
This has to be the most fun, laugh out loud watch review vid I have ever seen. and I've seen all of Andrew's content to date. An absolute triumph. Chapeau.
Every week, Andrew's videos become more and more unhinged. We need to get Watchfinder to rehire him before he loses it entirely, declares himself Emperor of England, and tries to conquer the world by reestablishing the British Empire.
Andrew, I love your videos and your scripts are hilarious. I watch, I subscribe, I like but I do visibly shake every time you say, "but make sure you stay for the last one! It's a hum dinger!". This won't stop me watching but I needed you to know :). Besides that tiny little thing, thank you for the great content and I hope the channel keeps growing!
I agree. The first 2 times I heard it I thought it was sarcastic because that would fit the tone of the channel. Now hearing it every time sound really click-baity which is both off-putting and unfitting for the eloquent style displayed
That and the Nico Leonard style thumbnails. The thing is Andrew doesn’t need to play the algorithm baiting game like Nico, Watchfinder got to a million subs and was always classy in its presentation.
He needs as much engagement as possible, this basic tactic works and is recommended by RUclips for creators. Just ignore it and remember he’s trying to run a business
The best one is definitely the Spaceship. I am on the wagon for a year, having bought a Grand Seiko in September ‘23, but I am ridiculously considering such a watch! It’s really out of this world, pun intended! Thank you so much for this kind of review, really enjoyed it. It’s very therapeutic, in a good way. Regards from Quebec.
Sometimes I wonder about the people running this companies. Why in the world I spend $3k on a Fears when I can get a Tudor or Longines or any other brand with a more established quality and brand recognition. I guess I’ll never know.
I gotta that the Tufina Paragon Calendar just blows my mind. It's a world's timer with the timezone rotating *inside* behind the dial, allowing to display perpetual calendar dials AND a date wheel, making it the second world's timer with date display in the world... it's all mechanical, in-house movement, and all of this for under 800 US. I know Tufina had one problem, and that is the fact they have a catalogue as tacky as a hublot X bulova collab would be, but BOY are their movements INSANE and completely unique in their price category, and THIS one could change everything. Plus a portion of your money goes to a good cause every time you buy! Class brand.
That Lebois chronometer is an excellent alternative to a Breitling. It doesn't come with a pistachio dial, but their black dial w gilt markings is **chef's kiss**. Maybe not a "bargain", but value/$ is impressive.
That Farer looks amazing for the price and looks particularly nice on the bracelet. I was legitimately surprised by the low cost. The Fears definitely has some Aqua terra influence and the bracelet, side profile, really sharp bevels and lines reminds me of Monta level quality for a similar price.
"If I were to be anal about it, I'd say it looks like a string of beads" hahahaha he always gets me, but today i made an audible laugh at 3:53am waking the mrs !!!! I'm 💀 ☠️ 🤣
The Airain Sous-Marine is actually pretty cool, because it doesn't have a dive bezel. The countdown bezel is something you don't see every day. It's also pretty useful.
I concur with you @cedarcanoe. Very clean design. Reminds me of an Omega AT meets Longines Spirit bracelet in a format Rolex wished they did but Fears did better. They cleaned up the design and made it their own. 👍
yeah. that Tag is overpriced (because of the Kith collab) quartz mass produced replica of its own original....as I sit in regret for selling my original....part of the journey
"Dropping acid in a hall of mirrors." This was just one of quite a few times you had me laughing, Andrew. I'm not sure which I enjoy more: your sense of humor or your brilliant watch reviews. Fortunately, either/or is not my thing when I can embrace both. Peace, Mate! Postscript: "If it ain't broke let's sell it some more and make some cash." "LeBois are back in town!" "I like things!" Expensive things want to "kick me out of my home and break up my marriage." HAHAHAHAHAHHAH! "Those bevels gleam like freshly laid snail-trails along the edges of the movement." "They've stuck a big label in the back so CHRISTOPHER WARD doesn't lose it." "and those who know me best, know I don't use exponents lightly." Post-postscript: I'm trying to stop this. Really I am!
Pound for pound or value for money a second hand rail master is your best bet. Coaxial escapement, all brushed finish, thin profile, blue dial, black dial you name it and it has it and they can be found for under $3,000. That’s a lot of watch for less than a black bay.
The Lebois Heritage Chrono - well proportioned vintage chrono looks with quality movement and nice finishing at a not-insane price - makes so much sense that it's genuinely shocking that noone else is doing it. Tissot came close with their 1938 but its sizing is stuck in the last decade.
I gotta say it Andrew. Your comment makes me want to watch content even about watches I would otherwise not even be interested in knowing about! Thanx for bringing that smile on my face!
The best line was the original movie Point Break mis-quote, Gary Busey to Keanu Reeves ‘young, dumb and full of’ … completely ( the actual line was ‘cum’). Movie legend has it that Keanu Reeves didn’t know it was err coming, watch his reaction, watch the movie, it’s a classic, and so was this episode!
Being a watch lover (I have 75 watches) I really like a lot of the watches on this list. It's a shame that 99% of the watch channels on RUclips spend 99.5% of their time talking about Rolex, and nothing else, when there are many other amazing watches being made. Thanks for this video. Do more of them. Just subscribed 👍.
I just purchased 3 Andrew Morgan titles for my week long vacation next week. With such great writing in these videos, I can’t wait to read your fiction.
I just placed the order for the CW Twelve X. It looks amazing!!! And yes, i do agree with your comparison with the Defy. I almost got the defy…but this one got my eye and my pocket is much happier with me
Damn Andrew! Now I want a Fears! And possibly a la boys! As always you are the aficionado in watches and I generally thought I knew almost all brands out there but you keep on amazing me every video! Had no clue about Labois . Fears I knew but did not know they released an OP41 killer! Thank you mate
Love what you're doing Ashford pal. Would be nice to see some hands on with watches, similar to your old Watchfinder format. Even once a month sort of deal?
your script it's just sparkling like champagne (and a top shelf one !) I do not care about many of those watches but I am listening like it's some kind of "war of the worlds" radio show ! that's a good one Orson/Morgan !
I like your videos and your sarcastic/tongue in cheek jabs. Indeed, bargain and cheap are not usually associated with the type of watches you mention, although I get the explanation you give at the beginning. For a future video, I suggest you try the same approach, but with sub-500$ "bargain" watches.
nkuwan You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
I know you get a million suggestions. maybe on a slow day you could consider the Reverie diver. I originally bought it for the dial. However, other than the lug design and the clasp a bit too chunky and stiff. I find it hard to find a better value especially caliber, thickness and weight. Anyway, great content as always. ☮️
Your my new favorite watch-dude. Nice work!! I thought i knew about a ton of watches, but you bust out some brands I don't know. And hilarious!! Subscribed!
I always love your videos and how smoothly you add upto date pisstakes on tthings happening in the world without even a pause to breath or laugh at yourself. That Lebois looks amazing and reminds me of another brand but can't remember which one. And the Fears Redcliff collection is amazing to look at. That case is perfect in shape and finishing.
I have owned Rolex, GO, Jaeger Lecoultre, Breguet, Tudor and Christopher Ward watches. Looking to buy a Morritz Grossmanor Laurent Ferrier watch. Best watch video in the recent years, as it opened news opportunities for fewer bucks! thanks!
How do you do it!!! HOW!!! you know your audience so well!! I laughed my absolute ass off at the Sea Cucumber jokes!! And no one geek/weird enough around me to get it or share it too! HOW!!
Fantastic video -- right up my alley. I lust for a Journe or a Roger Smith, but that ain't gonna happen in our particular version of reality, so this coverage of *reasonably* affordable (at least, to a collector) is welcome. I have a gold-colored Bel Canto on order (BTW I just got an email that it's been pushed from July to October due to a supplier quality issue), and I'm lusting for one of the C Ward moon watches, or maybe the Ophion 786 that I just became aware of this morning. I can no longer see any point of spending more than $5K on a watch unless you're rich, and I'm not. BTW congrats on stepping out to your own "gig". Best of luck with that! EDIT:: I forgot to mention that your brief allusion to the Pip-Boy w.r.t. that gynormous watch you covered made me laugh out loud. Good 'un.
Always a joy... feel like I get a bedtime story about watches, and great watches, and that is the perfect mix. Oh, and learning a Farer watch could fulfill my need for an Omega summer blue x Panerai - priceless! And Zelos is always making amazing watches - and Christopher Ward, and... thanks for highlighting some I don't own yet, but are in my "want" list.
I was not expecting any laughs from a watch video, but you did it. Funniest watch video I’ve seen. Are you trying to bring some Top Gear energy in here? 😂
I know you might not like brands that used to be or do a lot of homages, but the new san martin original designs are ridiculous value for money. The steel finishing is insane for the money. My stone dial watch is nutty value. I recently handled a bunch of tudor, oris and Hamilton. This watch matches the steel finishing or gets extremely close with ease. The handset is a bit cheap but the dial, indices, case and bracelet are exceptional. I know you're highlighting China, so i think they are worth a shout out. Or seagul for that matter is doing some great things. Plus they have history and heritage to boot.
Many nice watches in this review. Considering a Farer, but also the upcoming release from Bramier - the Trilayer GMT. Have you seen it? Would love for you to give it a test in your review too see how it performs, but seems to be a great value for money watch as well.
It is the 3rd time I’m the 667th “like”. I have no idea what that’s means. 1000 to 2000 dollars price is luxury tier for my pocket… yet great choices 👌🏻
Wow that manilone looks way better than a panerai. Ive had a few luminor marinors, and a blacksea which i miss, but there movement was so basic. Im a fan of movements, thats what got me to get my first rolex. The thickness of the glass reminds me of the marinor.lugs also.
Came for the watches.
Subscribed for the humour, enthusiasm and energy.

The Fears watch really got my attention. Clean dial, top tier finishing, fantastic crystal and a great looking bracelet. Stunner of a watch.
I wear an Omega daily, no coworker ever noticed.
I get a few comments from random people sometimes.. but mostly only I know what I’m wearing. Which it’s probably best for when the wife’s around anyways. ;)
Omegas are actually quite bland looking, usually. If you want an eye-popper you should check out some of Invicta's watches!
Why need someone noticing your watch?😂 you don’t want unnecessary attention, especially your boss.
It’s like shoes, unless you know what another person is wearing, you won’t really notice or pay attention to it.
I notice everyone's watch, no one notices mine lol

He would make a very lovely Emperor, leave him where he is now.
If he is the English Emperor he would establish the English Empire, no?
ps he is Welsh.

That an@l reference... String of beads. Got me cracked up🤣
I had to back up to make sure I heard that right there first time. Master class of English subtlety
That was my favorite quip. It was like a little brown gem. A small nugget comedy gold. 🤣
Andrew, this is one of the best videos you produced so far. Thank you very much!

Yeah. The first few times was a fun poke at BuzzFeed but by now it feels like it's sincere and non-ironic.
But surely you must admit--the inclusion of an anal beads joke in this video gives the word humdinger a whooole new meaning
That and the Nico Leonard style thumbnails. The thing is Andrew doesn’t need to play the algorithm baiting game like Nico, Watchfinder got to a million subs and was always classy in its presentation.

Chef's kiss to that Farer watch!
Tasty innit!?..❤
Farer has a really nice dive watch, too. Titanium, internal rotating bezel.

Appreciate the subtitles bringing up AP as “Odmar gay” for no other reason than it’s objectively hilarious as an interpretation.
