- This is one of the coolest parts of working on these things. Someone tells you they have a transmission "built for 850hp" and then it turns out its full of burnt up stock clutches. haha
This will be a ripper when we get it back together!

Thanks for watching!
I love transmission content. Thank you. Sub'd with alerts.
Great video!
Thanks for the videyo! What causes a 2018 allison to shift hard at 180° trans temp when going up hill shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. It doesn't do it a Temps less than 175°, torque converter maybe?
I never even tow anything its a dually at 95k miles. The chevy dealers can't figure it out and only. Hanged valve body. I think its converter because it has done the stop light/sign hop when pulling to a stop going slow before full stop.
How do you arrange the transmission clutches send
Bueno gracias quisiera ver armandola
Thank you
No problem!
Can a stock Allison 5 speed with shift kit hold 450hp ? Will not be use for pulling just occasionally drag racing
Honestly pulling is easier on a transmission than drag racing. BUT if you're talking about the full shift kit in the 5 spd, and you also increase the line pressure with the ratiotek kit , I think its doable with factory clutches as long as it hasn't been limped 10 times or has 400,000miles on it. ha The only thing is you need to disassemble a 5spd to install the full shift kit. The Transgo Jr kit which is meant for a 6speed (and can be installed with only dropping the valve body) will still slip in 4th and 5th gears at that power level on a 5spd.
