That section of tunnel is the old gauntlet track, I'm surprised that the old gauntlet track is still in existence as the track on the Darling Harbour side of the tunnel is single track to the Powerhouse Museum.

Ha, brings back funny memories getting arrested at Mortuary Station in the late 90s after an underground doof held by Ohms Not Bombs in the building across the road from the station.
Friend and I had climbed the fence and were coming down off ecstasy and were listening for ghosts on the station platform. Back then they still had the big trolley thing that they would put the coffin in to wheel it from the street to the train.
We were fine until we started crossing the railway tracks (met a homeless guy who was living in one of the little disused sheds that used to be right in the middle of the tracks) which is what drew attention to us. (Not so many cameras back then).
Eventually a security guard came along and my friend and I got arrested for trespass. I tried to run but got crash tackled by the burly security guard. Dumb idea as I'm female and was 5foot 9 but only weighed about 48 kilos at the time lol... Ah, memories!😂

The old goods line that took freight trains to and from Darling Harbour back when it was a working port prior to the late 1980s.

Yep, that confirms it, 6th Jan posted video and we clearly see you wearing "wednesday" undies. You do know you can go through the station properly when they have open days. No need to break in or jump fences, just walk right up to the (unlocked) door

That's the old mortuary station that was used for funeral trains to Rookwood cemetery.

@@georgetaktak5546 Oh hang on, you mean the cemetery! Yes, it is near there, although officially it's a suburb by itself, with a postcode. Not sure who you'd be sending letters to, though. There used to be matching station at the cemetery, but when they stopped using it, it was dismantled and taken to be used as a chapel in Canberra.
