Hi Guys, update on your old sails. The 2 headsails are now heading for Fiji aboard an older 40ft yacht from here as backup sails. The main is going to an old yacht with an old live a board in BOI. Both yachts very appreciative thanks. Great videos since Mangonui! Japan sounds like the way! Cheers Grant Mangonui Cruising Club
As someone living in Asia and having traveled the world, I would like to recommend the following stops, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and then head across to South Africa.
Taiwan and Japan, there are plenty of other channels following the traditional route. It would also be a complete change of scenery for you boys too xx Best of luck whichever you chose ...
To sidetrack a moment, Japan would be a great place to fly your mom out to see you guys. She certainly has earned the trip and a chance to see you again.
To many go the traditional route.. you guys know you’ve already made up your mind to go lol Love watching both of you , thanks for the update and asking us viewers 👍🏼😊
I would presume to suggest Japan - although this might present problems on the cheese front. It was good to hear the waffle!! The help from these guys that you received sows positive seeds. Not that you two need it but it encourages help to others in the future. I hope when eventually you get to Oz you will go to the Whitsundays - just a perfect place. Circumnavigating Tasmania is also a good left field target too! Safe sailing as always and many thanks.
I think we'll only go to Japan if there's good cheese there. We are definitely looking forward to Australia not sure about circumnavigating Tasmania 😜😉

Good update boys, I would love to see you go up to Taiwan and Japan as there are not many sailing channels giving us content from that part of the world. It would probably attract heaps more subscribers too. Before you leave Fiji waters you should visit the Yasawa islands, evidently they are fantastic cruising grounds. Is your new solar installation provoding all the power you need and do you have suitable Lithium batteries to store it?
It will be very different going to Japan and Taiwan some amazing places to visit. We will be visiting the yasawa Islands it's on the list. We have plenty more solar power now to keep our lithium batteries topped up with juice 🥤

Hey guys, some years ago was staying in a bungalow complex in Krabi Thailand and the owner had two boats. One was a hunter 25 lifting keel and he hired it to me for £20 per day. so me and my partner sailed through the Phi Phi islands over three days, it was amazing. The gulf of Thailand is really cool too. you can easily get to Cambodia and Vietnam two beautiful places. There is also a load of islands around there. You could then maybe snake up the coast past the Philippian's towards Taiwan and Japan maybe have a look in at Busan Korea. Whatever you do it going to be amazing to watch.
Great update guys and re the solar panel thats good content well in my book. I used to spend my hols in Wales in fact in and around Cardiff and Barry Rowing in Roath Park etc etc as a lot of my family were from there so hey well done lads Stay safe etc .
