Scott Carvin Make sure when you get them to take the screws out holding the baffles in and put a little loctite on them. Mine came out and the baffle came out of the pipe first long ride I went on. I no longer have this bike so I can’t provide you any other info on these beyond that.
I have these pipes and love them....a year and a half later the chrome isn't doing well but for the price even buying a set every year its still cheaper than buying cfrs. cant wait to get the fullsac true dual conversion kit to see how the pipes sound in true dual!
I have these on my '08 FLHT and they are fantastic. Mine have rivets (rivets vs screws depending on who you buy them from). The sound is great but there is a lack of backpressure so you'll not get as good torque with these as you would with a 2-1 system. I love being the loudest deepest sounding bike in the group, but your performance may not be quite as good as the next guy. It's really a performance vs sound issue with these. But if you don't want to break the bank, IMO, these sound better and deeper than any comparable slipons at this price point.
Beautiful bike! I run the Cobra Power Port Crossovers with 4 inch mufflers. I do alot of riding w/my lady so I didn't want something 2 loud but still, something that let's out a bark when I need 2 get on it! Pretty happy so far w/the system. I subbed you brother. God bless, rsmf. Freedom Rider out.
Roland Amor It was good. I no longer run these pipes because they lost there finish pretty fast so I just removed the baffles on the stock pipes and put them back on. And the stock ones with the baffles out are much louder but no so much that I can’t enjoy the radio. I did like the sound though. If I was gonna go back I’d probably spend the money and get a set of CFR’s.
+Brett Isaacson Actually yes. I didn't bother to check the screws that hold the end caps on and the baffles in and went for a ride and halfway through it I lost one of the end caps and a baffle. A friend of mine bought the same set for an identical bike and we checked his and even put Loctite on the screws and so far he has not had any issues.
Yea I'm no longer running them because the first long distance ride I went on after installing them one of the end caps came off and the baffle was lost as well as the end cap. I didn't bother to check the screws that held the end caps on and they must have vibrated out. A buddy of mine put his on right after me and we put loctite on the screws and he has had no issues with his so far. The chrome is not show chrome but then again you are not paying a lot for them either.

Dave C the chrome on the pipe itself is fine but started to bubble on the removable tips.
