Do you just let the jig sit or are you retrieving? I fish salt water but I’m up here for work and really want to catch some crappie I’ve never caught one before.

Thanks for the watch! Hopefully we have a few more weeks of shallow water fishing before they move back out deep

I bounce it up and down to imitate a minnow or shad. I’m not really casting because they move up in shallow cover to spawn.
When will you be back out there ?
I took my boat out to the lake yesterday, they are still up shallow but seemed like less numbers. I only caught 5 and they were all undersize
