It's really good for beginners or people that don't get out to fish much anymore to be able to see that it is extremely important, especially when fishing in states like California on certain bodies of water, for them to make sure that all of the gear/equipment they're using is legal as well as having a license and other tags if needed and that they're not keeping fish that are too small, out of season, or under a protected status like Sturgeon are because like everyone got to see from your videos, THEY DO CHECK!!! 👨‍⚖️👮‍♂️🕴🕵‍♂️👮

The entire protocol on this situation seems so freaking odd. Normally they just ask for your Fishing License and Drivers License, shake your hand, tell you good luck and be on their way. It is like the first guy was waiting for you to make a move so that you didn't come home to your family. Sorry that you went through that. Hard to watch.

The "hands out of your pockets" commands were so strange. Why would you be concerned over a fisherman having his hands in his pockets? Why were they treating the guy like he was suspected of assault or murder? The dude is literally just chilling out, fishing... it makes absolutely no sense for them to be exercising such extreme caution, or even digging through all of his possessions. What a bizarre interaction from start to finish.
