    I have to say after a few months of DP’ing that your channel is my go-to for all things DP related. I’ve ordered a few drill pens from you and look forward to receiving them. Thank you for all your work, answering our many questions etc..I greatly appreciate your time and efforts on our DP community. It’s so nice for me as I live alone. I’ll put on one of your videos and work on my DP’s..makes me feel like we are good gf’s crafting together. Happy Holidays Dani to you Teslyn and your family. Happy New Year 2019!!!

      Diamond Painting by Doni I also found that the Aqua mono liquid glue had the same results that you found. I also used it on a canvas that I was having problems with the drills slipping . I put a tiny drop on the canvas and it worked well to hold the drills in place.

    I have just found out recently that you have to seal diamond paintings. I have also seen all of these different things you can use without losing the glitter and shine. I decided to use clear Elmer’s glue and it was perfect, when it dried the sparkle was there!

    • @DPbyDoni
      @DPbyDoni  6 лет назад +2

      You don't actually have to seal them. People just feel more comfortable with sealing them when they won't be putting them behind glass to help keep the diamonds from possibly falling off one day. Good to know about the glue, thank you!

  • @SusanBishop555
    @SusanBishop555 6 лет назад +1

    It is probably a resin or acrylic type of glue. The beads are resin so using clear resin to cover it makes sense. :)

    Hi Doni. I enjoy watching your RUclips channels... I was wondering does it matter what kind of bristle of the toothbrush is? Soft, medium, or hard? Let me know. Thank you.

    • @DPbyDoni
      @DPbyDoni  5 лет назад

      I use a soft bristle toothbrush just in case there are loose diamonds that a harder bristle would possible pull up on or even possibly scratch the drills.

    This is great. I purposely did not watch or listen to which half you were putting the solution on. I turned off the volume so I truly would not know. I could not tell where you put it on the painting. The sparkle was definitely there. In fact I think there was more sparkle on the bottom where you had used it. Now I wonder how it would work on the paintings done with crystals and special beads? Lorma Margosiak was the first person I saw using this and did that she loved it and that it didn't take away the sparkle. But I don't think she showed the comparison the way you have. Because I'm going to be doing at least one painting with crystals I'm going to order some of this. Thanks so much to you and Danielle for doing this and showing the results

    FYI - if you order it from Michael’s website, there’s an option to buy it in bulk (12 of them) and then you also get a 20% discount code for the bulk order so it comes to only $2.23 apiece (plus free shipping). I know it’s a lot of glue, but if you have a lot of big ones that need sealing like I do and more in the works, having this large of a supply on hand might be nice.

    Hallo mein Name ist Susanna Schneider, ich habe da mal eine Frage an dich. Wofür ist der Aqua Liquid Glue bei Diamant Painting gedacht? Und wenn man ihn über das fertige Bild streicht, glänzen dann die Steinchen immer noch so wie ohne? Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen. Gruß Susanna Schneider

    • @DPbyDoni
      @DPbyDoni  6 лет назад

      In diesem Video werden beide Fragen erläutert. Der Kleber versiegelt die Diamanten, damit das Gemälde länger hält. Der Kleber, mit dem Sie die Diamanten auf die Leinwand kleben, wird nur ca. 3 Jahre halten. Sie verlieren überhaupt keinen Glanz mit diesem Kleber auf Ihrem Gemälde. Deshalb habe ich jedem dieses Video gezeigt, damit Sie sehen können, dass der Glanz mit und ohne Kleber gleich ist. Ich hoffe, das hilft!

    Hi there, I have a painting I just finished and some of my beads pop up and no matter what I do, they won't stay down. Does this sealant help keep them down as well as give them a shine? Thanks.

    • @katrinbadawi420
      @katrinbadawi420 6 лет назад +1

      When they pop up then the row is too tight. Try shifting the other beads a bit to make enough space for them. Or the glue underneath was dry by the time u put them.. Then the glue will help

    • @DPbyDoni
      @DPbyDoni  6 лет назад +5

      There has been a discussion in my facebook group about this. There was a very large batch of drills that were produced too large. A couple of things that can be done, are 1. remove the ones that are popping up and replace with a drill that is smaller, 2. Place the aqua mono glue over small sections as you finish it. The glue doesn't make them shine. They are already shiny, but this glue does not diminish the shine like other sealants do. 😊💖

      @nataliejetter5504 6 лет назад +5

      I had the same problem. It looked great as long as it was left flat but if ruled even in a large roll wherever the glue crackled it turned white and flaked off. I had white lines in between my Diamond Rose all over the place. So if you're going to use it and move it right onto a frame fine but if you need to roll it at all don't do it.
