    Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I have one question, is it possible to know how many crystals each color are?? So we can arrange total stones we will use for each color. Thanks in advance😊

    Thank you for this tutorial. Where I live these kits are over priced when compared to their prices on dollar and there is only one store who sells them in the entire country. I might try to make my own kits with the themes I actually like, just need to find out about glue and tools. I hope to see more videos like this in the future.

    Can I just ask whether there would be a way of adding symbols on the picture like you get on the purchased canvases with a legend in the border?

    • @nellfallcard1043
      @nellfallcard1043 3 года назад +1

      Hi!
      Unfortunately, other than manually adding them I do not know a better shortcut. What I do is to use distinct colors for the squares and use that as my guide instead of symbols.

    Pretty results. Since the whole trend is basically printing a cross stitch pattern onto something you could have saved a whole lot of time by using something like PC Stitch, export or print the pattern as an image with or without black and white or color symbols. The software lets you choose beads to use with it instead of threads. All in all this looks really cool.

    • @nellfallcard
      @nellfallcard  4 года назад +1

      Can you choose the color palette on PC Stitch? As in "I've got only these 6 bags of different color beads and I want for the program to convert this particular image into a pattern that only uses these 6 specific colors" ?

    • @IraQNid
      @IraQNid 4 года назад +2

      Yes. You can choose from hundreds of colors across many types of threads and beads. Your pattern can be up to 999x999 stitches/beads with up to either 250 or 500 colors. The last time I used it I saw the colors for each type of thread/bead manufacturer plus their standard color codes. The color codes are uniform for each brand so you can look them up in craft stores and online. PC Stitch has a free trial version that does everything but print. If you like it pay for it and your trialware becomes fully featured.

    you should buy and use Clear Double sided adhesive you lay it out on top of all the pictures and use it like the one you buy from China instead of using glue!

    Where do you buy all the diamonds?

    • @nellfallcard
      @nellfallcard  3 года назад +1

      I get mine from AliExpress, you just search for "rhinestones". They take some time to arrive since they come all the way from China but so far is the cheapest option I've found. Good quality too!

    To clarify the question about Photoshop adding symbols, are you saying there’s no way to get symbols added in Photoshop?

    • @nellfallcard
      @nellfallcard  3 года назад +1

      At the moment of recording this video, I didn't know a way to add symbols in photoshop that wasn't plain put them manually, which would be painfully slow to do, so I relied on in my sight to be able to tell the colors apart... but now that you mention it, there might be a way around, let me test it and, if it works, I will upload a video explaining how. Thanks for watching!

    how do you print the image on the canvas?

    • @nellfallcard
      @nellfallcard  Год назад

      I didn't. I printed the image on a thick ornamental paper which in my opinion is better than a canvas because it is rigid and therefore easier to work on and frame. My guess is the products that are sold are printed on canvas because most of them come from China and canvas is better fit to survive a long trip overseas without getting mauled, but if you are printing at home that's not a problem you need to solve for 😄

      The title states very clearly "how to make your own custom patterns IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP". Any expectations regarding a different type of content is no longer my responsibility, nor is my duty to educate random strangers on skills they do not possess to understand a process which is described in the very title of the video. You are not the target audience and never was, I have no need for entitled commenters. Have a nice day.
