Why make a comment like that? She can measure her own and use her own color scheme. Ahhh makes me angry when people try to "one up" you.
Here is my opinion, this hobby is very exacting so I love how you de mystify it. You make me relax and life is hard enough without expecting perfection from ourselves. We are doing this for FUN and relaxation, or I should say, I AM. I love your videos, you are so open and friendly. Stop criticizing yourself, my sweet one. You are perfect in your imperfections. Keep up the great work. This was a super video.

I've been fretting about how to inexpensively frame my diamond art in a way that doesn't look cheap and amateurish, and you've demonstrated the perfect way to do that. Thank you, Doni, for taking the time to make this helpful tutorial. Now I can carry on painting without worrying about how I'm going to frame the end result.

Thank you so much for that fantastic framing. I personally found this extremely useful, as a guide to frame, in a cost effective method. I loved your choice of colours, Remember - what you do and how you do it, is the way YOU do it - so, those of us that watch these videos, then we are free to either follow directly as you have done it, or modify it .. its a free choice. High five and big hugs - great job, a fantastic end result. much love xx

Despite all your challenges in trying to remain calm, thinking ahead, and then executing your plan (you showed candidly how the average crafter probably works when there's no camera on them), your choice of colours was superb! Both tape colours picked one or more colours of the diamonds and together they look as if it could have come all together as a kit! (I certainly didn't know duct tape came in GALAXIES!!!!) Great Job Done!

Hi Donnie, when I get done with whatever DP I was doing, I write down the color numbers, and DMC or numbers they give u for the colors for the pic on an index card. Just in case a DP falls off, that way, I just go into my "extras" and find the color and glue it back on. Will save time and frustration later on. Just an idea I have. Thank You for this tutorial and God Bless you and your family!!

I think there are a lot of miserable people out there. Their own lives are so awful that they make themselves feel better by criticizing others. I feel sorry for the people that sit around all day and have nothing better to do besides watch RUclips and criticize every video they watch. When you look at it that way it's easier to just ignore them. You can see how many people love you Doni, don't let the haters take that away from you. Some people don't have 3.7 k viewers after years on RUclips. The haters are not part of that number, believe me. That's just the people that love you.

So keep on doing whatever you feel you want to do, because naysayers don't do life very well :)

I like to watch how everyone frames their works just in case I might get an idea how to do something different... or achieve a different "look". The way I frame most often is: I buy very inexpensive frames at Walmart that are slightly larger than my painting (the actual drilled area). I cut off the unused edges of the canvas so I just have the drilled area. I use the glass from the frame to mark and cut out poster board that will be the "matting", then affix the painting to the poster board- centering it as much as possible. Sometimes I like to "pretty it up" even more and I'll use double-sided tape to lay a box of ribbon all the way around the matting. I can usually frame a painting this way for under $10. I do like the way yours came out... that cosmic tape looks like it was made for that painting, and the little bit of teal just gives it a little snap of contrast. Very nice, Doni!!

I do my corners differently. Before I fold the tape over I snip the tape on the side of the tape at the corner and at the rop of the tape in the corner. I take that little piece of tape off. Then when you fold the tape over you don't have the extra bulk there. If I want to miter the corners I cut the triangle off the corner (you could also fold the point in first instead of cutting). Then when I fold it over I have 2 diagonal sides the meet up to form the miter. I wish I could attach pictures, I hope that I explained it clearly. The colors you chose really look great!

I like the way you made it look like there is a mat with it. I've done this your way but only 1 duck tape. But I also have gotten glass measured to size I wanted to cover painting. I always leave an inch past the picture. I don't like it too wide. and I also glue down the painting. I do this if the size is one that I can't find a frame for. I use command strips to hang it.

That is what I used to hang mine as well! They are so lightweight that those strips are perfect for these.

Beautiful job! And I agree with Arlene, perfectly imperfect, just the way I like EVERYTHING in life ♥ Just remember, as I also need to, that for every "hater" we 100 supporters...In fact we have a small army of supporters now :)

I really enjoyed this teaching and am going to try with an odd sized DP -- one ? Is there a clear covering that won't dim the sparkle to lay over the painting to protect it and then put on the tape to hold to foam and covering? I will be watching for your help. Thank you much!!! Jan

I enjoyed watching you frame by the way what does everyone do with the diamond paintings after they are done? Wanting some tips.

I have a Dollar Tree store within 2 blocks from my house. I'm going to check out their craft section and see what I can come up with to frame a Cars DP I recently finished for my grandsons, EJ and Declan. Everything I need to finish the job I'm sure I'll be able to get at Dollar Tree.

If they had a wider range of Duct Tape, I would have had this entire thing framed with Dollar Tree products. I do have some of their tape, but it is lacking in quality, and it didn't go well with this image. But, this is where I purchased the foam board, and they do sell double sided tape there as well (I just found this out a couple of weeks ago) and the quality isn't too shabby! Have fun framing it! 😊💖

I am looking for a good cutting service too, what kind is yours' with the graph lines on it; I'm an awful cutter when I free-hand it so a cutting mat is a must!

I just bought a new one on Amazon. I will put it on my Amazon page. It will be under the diamond painting accessories section. Bit.ly/diamondpaintingbydoni

Oh good idea!! Did you seal it first? I have some cheaper ones that I'm going to try this with but it will need a way to keep it all together

Yes I did seal it first. I did that video prior to this one 😊
