Current min wage in Serbia is RSD64,474 per month, which is 550e gross not 300e. Net it is just over 400e. Still very low…

In Australia, it's the same, you go to a general practice doctor and then he sends you, say, to a specialist who is located in another place, and if he sends you, say, to do an MRI, in many cases it's not in the same place.

Is €300 euros for the minimum income requirement correct? I couldn't verify this info online. It sounds awfully low. It's funny to hear you say that Whole Food is expensive. In California prepared meals in WF (or their food bar) for instance is an average price if not lower.

People in different parts of the country call that store Whole Paycheck because of the cost. It’s interesting there is a place where that isn’t true.

@@jackbaldwin3649 You’re right. I had never bought from the prepared food bar and had always assumed it was as expensive as everything else. Good to know.

@@laurastaley7627 I'm not saying it's cheap but it's not more expensive than eating out and it many cases the food quality is far better. I was lucky enough to sample their prepared meals and hot food bar in Seattle. Wow, it was delicious!

Now, a couple who live around city center , eat out and goes in cafes daily , have a social life , needs about 1200$ monthly.
If you buy a car and make weekend excursions , or renting a car for weekends , it goes up.
Dentist and medical care is not included, but isn't expencive.
I am local , and as most of Belgraders, we own a flat , so we need less, but we who have kids are spending for their needs approximately the amount of money which new settlers spending for a flat.
That stories that someone work wor minnimum vage and live out of that is bulsh*t. Can't be done. Except if person has other income, like extra flat and renting it to someone.
