Sephiroth became a member or Organization XIII on Remake 💀 I miss when Sephiroth was just mysterious and appeared rarely but when he appeared he was frightening and straight to the point. I know we’re all consumed by talk of the ending (trust me I’ve got my own conflicted thoughts on that) but the music playing when Cloud tries not to strike Aerith is freaking incredible

The ending, and how they handled Aerith’s death? I’m… still torn on it. Of course I’m still going to play the game and maybe there’s something that will help clear it up or set it up better, but as of right now I’m wishing they’d either just kept everything the same or just had her evade death in a less complicated way. What do u think happened? Did you get emotional of the ending? Personally, here’s what I think happened-when aerith and sephiroth changed destiny, they allowed multiple worlds (not timelines) to exist. This is why Zack and cloud end up in a world where even if we went by timeline logic (them arriving in midgar) DOSNT MAKE SENSE. We also know that Zack’s world IS NOT OUR WORLD. The universe is constantly trying to “fix” itself thanks to sephoroth’s plans (he seems interested in creating multiple world or going to multiple worlds then finding holy usually by killing aerith). It explains why Zack and cloud are essentially in another time, why Zack STRUGGLES with memory, why Biggs and him seem to always find themselves in situations getting worse and worse. The only way for aerith and cloud in his world to “wake” is for OUR versions to switch conscience with them. Aerith prob knew about those world and used to to spend one last date with cloud who she genuinely wanted or was in love with. The world is dying because of the multiverse changing. She DOSNT know that Zack is alive. seeing her wake cloud up is …off. Marlene and her mom aren’t in the house which you’d think they’d be in. As for what cloud saw, she failed. Sephiroth got the powers of fate or bent to his will/or cloud was too slow/ his aerith died again. And while it’s clear Aerith is speaking to him from the livestream because he is more connected to her than ever before, it’s ambiguous if he understands what happened or if he is ALWAYS speaking to Aerith. As for Zack, because he survived the battles in the life force? And he is already defying tjme, the world he wakes up in the end, is a STABLE world for now. Honestly I think that would have to be last game, and involve sidequests to convince Vincent to tell Lucrecia the truth and get her to leave the cave. Then again with the way Sephiroth’s been following Cloud maybe he could just pop in while you’re there.

I like how present sephiroth has been throughout the remakes but I feel like they dialed it a bit too high. We've beat his ass twice now and we're gonna do it again in part 3.
why there's no gameplay of kid cloud pushing Cloud to snap out/slow him down against Sephiroth's control? They really skipped the part where cloud beats Aerith because he gave up the black materia and you're controlling back kid cloud. And again, they jumped struggling Sephiroth's control before Aerith's death.

I would love if there was a revelation on how Jenova began, or vision in the lifestream in how the Cetra contained It after a final battle. Maybe going further the battle between the GI and the Cetra and Jenova getting involved. Maybe Jenova turned the planet the GI once lived on into her Vessel forcing the GI to inhabit Gaia. So much to the imagination. Very much look forward to the final Game but I am overwelmed on the quality we just experienced.

Sephy’s silver eyebrows make it difficult to realise how beautiful he is until you look really close up 😊 having said that, still much prefer the original entry of sephy, more succinct, much more powerful. He only fought twice in the original game, one again a huge dragon, two slashes did the work. Another time using the most powerful magic (firedaga I think) to wipe out all the enemies in one go. And the theme ‘those chosen by the planet’ playing through his scenes, so ominous it sent goosebumps all over my body. ‘Anxious heart’ is also so good then followed up by ‘tcbtp’ when sephy finally broke down and went totally berserk. What an impressive introduction! That is why sephy is so popular in my opinion 😅

I don't see the reason why Sephiroth turns evil and goes on rampage killing innocent people and I also noticed Sephiroth continue to mess with cloud taunting him trying to make him fall into despai. Well in the original game he’s doing it partly because he knows it makes Cloud easier to control and IMO because he knows Cloud has taken over Zack’s life and resents that. Remember in CC Sephiroth is somewhat fond of Zack as Angeal’s puppy. With burning the village, it’s an irrational angry reaction but he just found out he was created there, that the village had been sustained by the inhumane experiments being carried out there (they mention the only reason Nibelheim takes in enough money to survive is rent on the Shinra mansion where he was created) and that at least some of them had been turning a blind eye while people like him suffered. I think he lashed out. I’m actually perplexed as to why he didn’t torch the mansion too, perhaps he had enough self-control not to torch the building with Zack unconscious inside. But I also think Jenova might have been partially controlling him.
Well Cloud was the one that technically “killed” him as in threw him down the Nible reactor where he ended up in the lifestream. Which pretty much destroyed most of his body. Also, Cloud always had a weak mind and Hojo experimented on him afterwards injecting him with Sephiroth’s cells making it easy to manipulate Cloud. It’s why Seph is able to pop in and out of his life and control him essentially making him a puppet lol Although Sephiroth was considered the “perfect monster” because his cells didn’t degenerate unlike Genesis/Angeal, Cloud is considered a copy of his thanks to Hojo injecting him and the whole notion of the reunion theory that Hojo wanted to “test out” I do believe during the Nibleheim incident that Jenova was manipulating/controlling Seph for the most part because his mannerisms were so odd

It's better if she gets brought back because Advent Children has already shown, in fact this is post Advent Children, that Sephiroth/Jenova has been diluted within the Life stream. that's quite severe.
My advice is don't watch it on RUclips, but you have to play it. I'm pretty sure you immediately looked for the ending on RUclips without seeing the progress and development of each character, especially for Cloud and Aerith. Trust me, the feeling you get between playing the game or just watching it is very different. For me it makes me sad even though I know Aerith will die

That isn't Sephiroth. The real one is a mysterious badass who says little and comes across as a genuine danger. When he transforms into a twisted angelic being at the end of the original game, it feels threatening. I would love if there was a revelation on how Jenova began, or vision in the lifestream in how the Cetra contained It after a final battle. Maybe going further the battle between the GI and the Cetra and Jenova getting involved. Maybe Jenova turned the planet the GI once lived on into her Vessel forcing the GI to inhabit Gaia. So much to the imagination. Very much look forward to the final Game but I am overwelmed on the quality we just experienced.

Sephy’s silver eyebrows make it difficult to realise how beautiful he is until you look really close up 😊 having said that, still much prefer the original entry of sephy, more succinct, much more powerful. He only fought twice in the original game, one again a huge dragon, two slashes did the work. Another time using the most powerful magic (firedaga I think) to wipe out all the enemies in one go. And the theme ‘those chosen by the planet’ playing through his scenes, so ominous it sent goosebumps all over my body. ‘Anxious heart’ is also so good then followed up by ‘tcbtp’ when sephy finally broke down and went totally berserk. What an impressive introduction! That is why sephy is so popular in my opinion 😅

and I also noticed Sephiroth continue to mess with cloud taunting him trying to make him fall into despai. Well in the original game he’s doing it partly because he knows it makes Cloud easier to control and IMO because he knows Cloud has taken over Zack’s life and resents that. Remember in CC Sephiroth is somewhat fond of Zack as Angeal’s puppy.
With burning the village, it’s an irrational angry reaction but he just found out he was created there, that the village had been sustained by the inhumane experiments being carried out there (they mention the only reason Nibelheim takes in enough money to survive is rent on the Shinra mansion where he was created) and that at least some of them had been turning a blind eye while people like him suffered. I think he lashed out. I’m actually perplexed as to why he didn’t torch the mansion too, perhaps he had enough self-control not to torch the building with Zack unconscious inside. But I also think Jenova might have been partially controlling him.
Well Cloud was the one that technically “killed” him as in threw him down the Nible reactor where he ended up in the lifestream. Which pretty much destroyed most of his body. Also, Cloud always had a weak mind and Hojo experimented on him afterwards injecting him with Sephiroth’s cells making it easy to manipulate Cloud. It’s why Seph is able to pop in and out of his life and control him essentially making him a puppet lol
Although Sephiroth was considered the “perfect monster” because his cells didn’t degenerate unlike Genesis/Angeal, Cloud is considered a copy of his thanks to Hojo injecting him and the whole notion of the reunion theory that Hojo wanted to “test out”
I do believe during the Nibleheim incident that Jenova was manipulating/controlling Seph for the most part because his mannerisms were so odd

The first Last of Us was suppose to start a conversation if Joel was the bad guy but the audience was too stupid and thought he was a good dad; so the 2nd one made them outraged by giving the debate ending. Aerith is dead right now. Cloud's in denial so he sees her and everyone else is in grief. Now they have until the end of the 3rd game to figure out if they want to bring her back or not. Rebirth, as in Aerith dies and rebirth" of the original timeline; Sephiroth ever says it in the cutscene.
@@stemike7956Eh, you could say that. But If you see what Red 13 says when Aerith touched him, that's not a hallucination by Cloud. Aerith isn't dead, she's in spirit form, strong enough to be seen. So yeah, depends if they wanna bring back her or not. It's better if she gets brought back because Advent Children has already shown, in fact this is post Advent Children, that Sephiroth/Jenova has been diluted within the Life stream. that's quite severe.
My advice is don't watch it on RUclips, but you have to play it. I'm pretty sure you immediately looked for the ending on RUclips without seeing the progress and development of each character, especially for Cloud and Aerith. Trust me, the feeling you get between playing the game or just watching it is very different. For me it makes me sad even though I know Aerith will die

That isn't Sephiroth. The real one is a mysterious badass who says little and comes across as a genuine danger. When he transforms into a twisted angelic being at the end of the original game, it feels threatening. This limp-wristed imposter with his flimsy black bird's wing poses no threat to anybody and absolutely will _not_ shut up.
