As soon as galeem got sliced in half, my brain went straight to sephiroth and I was refusing to believe it until it showed "sephiroth descends to battle". In the end, I lost my shit.
I’m sat here watching it on my phone with my kids. And I love everyone’s reaction to this because inside sephiroth is kind of like a hero to me. Because he gave me such a big enjoyment playing my first final fantasy in ff7. I been telling kids since smash came out how much of a big deal cloud is. So when these guys got hyped realising it was seph. I laughed. But I was also emotional and found my self wiping near tears of happiness. I’m waiting for the remake on pc and then I’m going to get the remake on the phone in 2022. Get my kids involved. Hopefully it can be a memory they remember as part as their youth - unlike sephiroth who doesn’t want to be part of a memory 😅

@@leonxking640 Death Battle aside, it has been officially stated in the past that Sephiroth never uses his full power, even after Advent Children where he is outright decribed as having ascended to a new form of existence. Wether this is because of something that prevents him from using his full power or a simple case of him willingly making himself weaker is unknown. Arguably, the guy is so absurdly strong even by the FF standards he doesn't really need it.
There's something absolutely terrifying about Sepiroth. It gets creepier when you read his etymology and symbolism.

Ganon is pretty bad, but the nature of the LoZ franchise is such that his darkest moments are still fairly basic. he wants power and will kill to have it. Ridley is just a dragon that is a pirate who hates samus, he is as evil as any violent criminal.

I’m sat here watching it on my phone with my kids. And I love everyone’s reaction to this because inside sephiroth is kind of like a hero to me. Because he gave me such a big enjoyment playing my first final fantasy in ff7.
I been telling kids since smash came out how much of a big deal cloud is. So when these guys got hyped realising it was seph. I laughed. But I was also emotional and found my self wiping near tears of happiness.
I’m waiting for the remake on pc and then I’m going to get the remake on the phone in 2022. Get my kids involved. Hopefully it can be a memory they remember as part as their youth - unlike sephiroth who doesn’t want to be part of a memory 😅

@@daveraschke Oh I'm sure he will be and overpowered as hell. But at the same time, Sephiroth is known for that. Don't let the trailer fool you, Cloud can barely go toe-to-toe with the fucker in his own game. It always ends up as a 3v1 in his games (Never played Crisis Core so don't know about that one). And Cloud got a serious beating by the end of the advent children movie from him.
So let's just start with free-for-all's turning into unspoken 3v1's whenever Sephiroth is in the lobby.
