Your pso2 content is what got me to watch your channel in the first place. Glad to see you back.
As somebody who has seen everything from microsoft's brickware failure, to how rancid the community is at this time, I'm invested to see how Cryy handles the game if we're looking at both gameplay and community perspective.
The lack of community spirit is why i left after only a few months of playing.
"rancid" is the perfect word to describe it. it's not just bad, it's been left to fester and rot in a corner as the smell gets worse every day.
@@DiscountYTYea that's why I avoid those rotting people, like mold they just want to spread it to everyone. It's more "dead players" than "dead game" to me.

I said it before and I'll say it again. NGS, as of right now, is arguably in the best state it's ever been for new and returning players. Most of the main pain point people have had since launch are now fixed or are on their way of being fixed.
-It now has a decent amount of content to grind
-all base classes from base PSO2 are back, with the addition of Slayer (Gunblade Class)
-all 4 open field regions, along with their stories, have been released.
-the max rarity is now back to 9*
-Level cap is now at 75
-Personal Quarters (Creative Spaces) are back, bigger and better than any of us ever expected them to be
-Instanced-based content is now back at the fore-front with the introduction of Duel quests, Leciel Exploration (which are basically divide quests) and challenging endgame boss encounters (Dark Falz Solus)
-the story is now actually going somewhere interesting.
-there's a ton of ways to catch-up now, if you've been away for a while.
-There's now a ton of ways to passively earn SG
And keep in mind... that's only the rough gist of it, there's a lot more that I didn't cover. Because if I did, this comment would turn into an even longer essay.
Though I will say, this month, when it comes to new content, is definitely underwhelming. So yeah... can't all be winners.
I absolutely adore this comment! Sums up most of everything in my thoughts about it except for the final part regarding this month's lack of content considering we already had a road map for the remainder of the year detailing that September would indeed be the catch up/filler month, lol.
The only thing that the game lacking is how empty the open world are. It would make much different if they add something like Aelio Town outside or some kind of town with npcs.

This is true, its still just kind of sad. Sega invests just enough of the earnings from scratches and such back in to keep the devs alive, rather than highering more talent and growing the game they are content with the few thousand that stick around/come back for updates, and are content with keeping that smaller community spread across 4 servers instead of consolidating.

god damn i missed watching you play pso2... so happy to see this again. i dropped ngs shortly after launch cause of the lack of content but this kinda makes me wanna play again, even if the low playercount seems to be a bit of a red flag
Some part of community no longer patience with slow update.
the game now honestly isn't that bad, but it won't make people stuck for year and still feel happy.
So most people only for daily money and logout waiting new bigger stuff to update.
which is probably around 2024, the rest of this year is new boss and new story (very small part of next episode prologue)

I play this off and on again. It gets content updates in bursts so it'll be entertaining for a week or two before it starts to feel like a grind again. Population is just as stop and go. You'll see pop increase around updates. FYI: I started playing the OG version from your old vids. ;P
Yep this is where i'm at with NGS. I just log on when an update happens then I either log in for a few more days or just put the game down again until the next update to repeat the cycle.
I remember asking on twitter if u played ngs when it first dropped cause I swear I saw ur ign, man time flies.

This is genuinely one of my favorite games, and by far my favorite open world game. It's just so fun; the movement is incredible, the scenery is **gorgeous** (it started out beautiful and has gotten even better with updates), the combat is super fun and engaging, the music is some of the best in the series... It really deserves to be more well known.

I'm surprised you hadn't played this til now. It's a great time to jump in. Lots of events, things to do, and bonus exp/drop rates for new and returning players. NGS is not without its flaws, but it's my favorite MMO. I love the action and of course, the fashion. :D

I think sadly most of the players now had to play NGS because the Base game while still there, is now in maintenance mode😢. It is now an optional kinda install as a DLC now even because of its filesize being too huge because of Spaghetti code maybe.
Just take your time slowly playing the game instead of like rushing through as there really isn't like crazy amount of stuff anyways, and the Drip game is still as high as ever.

I hope you have a better time than I, my dude. PSOld2 sucked me in like a demon succubus on heat, but NGS's combat just didn't hit for me the right way. The lack of dungeon crawling and constant bosses probably did me bad too.

The thiccness is not a mod the game gives you skin color round accessories that you can attach to your body to make enhancements on some of the curves only limited by accessory limit.
Such a coincidence that Crawford has my last name… also damn never thought you return to RUclips, and even better this makes me want to attempt this game again.

I just treat it as a single player game I come back to every so often. I'm ultra casual and don't grind much, I take long breaks from the game and come back when there's a lot of content to keep me busy for a few days.
I feel like it's a good game to come back every now and then to but a terrible mmo to play consistently.

This is my first time as well but is so Confusing Because I don't understand Japanese or is it Chinese in the game? Why you need to get armor weapons and so forth.

That's how it always starts. Ooh, aah, this game has so much potential. Then you realize it's been two years and the issues that were in the game on release are still in the game and the devs just seem very out of touch with what the playerbase wants and you grow tired and jaded of all the wasted potential.
Made me redownload this game damn, more of my life used up
