Great video ! I would just add that Vershmel ever since the update is a very very good option for casual/mid core player since you get 30 growthment + up to 15 from clearing Leciel ONCE a day. Since they didn't up the cost of the weapon, you can get one Versh in 5 days just by going extra on your dailies, which is imo way more time efficient than Dread Scale farming. Even if it sets you back a bit for PA customization disc exchange, it's well worth it to gear your main class realy quick.
first day i played of the new update, i got a fixa 3 versch rifle from leciel. amazing, as a ranger player. yesterday, i got ANOTHER fixa 3 versch rifle. very odd, i thought, the sega gods must be smiling upon me. so i took it to the fixa enhancement, plugged a 40% increase in from the sg support scratch, and now i have a fixa 4 versch rifle. absolutely beautiful, couldn't be happier.
That's awesome. I have a Versch Double Saber with Fixa Term 2 and I think that feels awesome. I bet Fixa 4 feels powerful af sometimes when you get those chunky critics.
Endgame for me is quests/bosses/dungeons/raids that are hard to clear and because they are hard they are also fun, even if they end up on farm status after a while. X-time solus smacking for the fun of the fight, getting the rare loot (camo, tisah, flugelgard) is the primary motivation at the beginning, but after a very long time sega makes it uninteresting and it's all about the fun. (with a verschmelz termina 4 i don't need clean flugelgard) Hard challenges for gear is endgame, because that's what the gear is for.
I think how you consider someone casual or hardcore off a little. If someone is spending 20+ hours in this game a week, they are probably in the hardcore camp, it's just your need to be super hardcore to get endgame stuff so that makes the hardcore look less hardcore. Casual is get dailies done and log off. So maybe 30 minutes a day, or 3.5 hours a week. Midcore is probably around the ten hours a week mark, doing extra runs of LC and hopping on for UQs. Hardcore are probably grinding for the materials needed to exchange for the final disk on top of all that. Probably 20+ hours a week. And then the super hardcore are doing exactly as you say for about 40+ hours a week, more than a full time job.
That's good advice... in my case I'm a complete random mess, as sometimes I go casual, other times mid-core, and even hardcore too... I can't really decide.
I'm at the point now where I hit a wall. I'm have a Melek weapon maxed out with Fixa Fatale 2. I can't enhance the fixa level because I can't find a melek drop with a fixa 3. And the ones in the market with a fixa are pretty expensive in ship 2. The weapon has Halphinale, Spi Trip, Grand Dread Keeper LC, Highale Dom LC, and Gigas Maste. I'm stuck at around 150-151 potency, 62% floor potency due to the non-LC capsules that I don't have being so expensive. I can do every bit of content no problem with this setup BUT I literally can't advance due to bad RDR or lack of I'm just playing to find stuff I don't need just to sell it. I'm the type of player that just likes to build and max out current gear so I could care less about chasing Flugel or Tiash but it's hard to do that when resources are scare right now.
As I'm learning more and more every patch; time=power=money. Time becomes mats/gear, becomes farming efficiency and access to max difficulty content, becomes money. If that's the case, there's a reason the rich get richer and the poor look good and hit like wet noodles. And midcore player have the stress of balance on top of it all. Meanwhile the elite players have tons of meseta they never spend until the next major weapon/armors. This works out best for SEGA cause people who won't farm just try to buy their way to the top. Respect for all the hardcore players, though!

I'm going to slightly disagree with you about doing purple triggers aelio and retem devestators, but only slightly. Agree that it's not content worth doing for the average player. It does require quite a strong build. I am finding that the unwix fixa is especially useful, as you might not always have a ranger with blight rounds or a weak spot on the bosses exposed for the majority of the fight. This is where unwix shines, imo. Also for aoe mobbing, but anyways.. I get a minimum of 10 gigas strugments for my 20 minute effort. I'm not sure that I am getting 10 strguments every 20 minutes by doing packs of recons. Plus there are flugel drops in purple as well as other stuff worth wanting for a lot of players, I'd imagine. The basic gear they give you for completing the story won't be anywhere near strong enough, but being able to smoothly clear devestators current max rank is something I think they should keep very challenging but also start to making more rewarding - like by adding the chance of a 10* drop. They should continue to make it worth the time to want to gear up as strong as possible to have a proper challenge to fight with that gear
100% that they need to make the purple trigs more rewarding, practically everything there I can get elsewhere but minus the headache of getting better gear or finding people to do it with.
I loved PSO Episode I & II(gamecube) back in the day but I was never online so I missed out on that aspect of the game but I loved playing it nonetheless. I've been hesitant for years now from playing this. Is it worth it?

just because someone does not play as long other does not mean nothing it mean using there time more effectively kero if get 10 star weapon keep even if you only play like 1 or 2 hour day that person is using there time at effective planning, same as playing 40 plus hour just use time management skills.

I'm casual but I can spend hours just helping, talking, shopping and fashion. Gear is almost worthless to chase. I HATE carrot on a stick crap. If I had to chase/farm; Id stop using any money and use it on another game since id quit this one.
@@titus6573 I played Star Wars Galaxy. I lost YEARS of gear and game progression. It gives you perspective about what priorities I wanted to achieve. For some it IS the chase. For me I want it to provide my entertainment. I want the game to provide it without restricting drop rates and call the chase content.

Honestly? I enjoyed my time getting 150 scales for the Melek. It just sucks that you have to put millions into it to get 16% more power than a free weapon.
Use Yellow Triggers up till Stia Troopers, and then you will be golden. Although, you might want to grab the level 65 promotional items. That will carry your battle power up to speed, but it won't be the bis to let you play end-game. You'd be dead weight compared to everyone else using high potency set-ups, even at max level. The seasonal event on the 20th will likely give up more generous gear through the seasonal weapons, and maybe an new set of armor obtainable by grinding seasonal points.
I would stay in the combat zones. Mainly Retem Alnothe because it's so easy to move around. I think there's currently a exp boost bonus for combat zones. Also I would continue to accept all of the Leah May, quests as you'll complete them just by doing dailies and fighting in combat zones.
Honestly extremely dissipointed this wasnt a 30 second video consisting of your intro and outro only. Because that wouldve been a actuall accurate video. There is no endgame, besides pso2 blocks and there wont be end game until the 3rd game is out. Cope as hard as you want but damn i see the struggle to keep the channel alive.
Next chapter of that storyline has be better then chapter 6. Because chapter 6 wasn't that good either. Also chapter 6 has a complete lack of plot detail on that storyline.

Strictly my personal opinion.. but on ship1 selling flugals isnt even worth it they've dropped in value so much due to undercutting and "drop increase" desperation, if it doesnt have a fixa and isnt top 3 dps wep type it really isnt worth selling. People aren't really buying them either bc ppl undercut the price by a looot everyday. for example, before maint. flugal jbs were 150-200mil, now they are 60mil and dropping. I'm probably going to just keep my flugal at this point. That being said even if its worth lets say 43mil for knuckles, I make more selling scratch items that sell eons faster, idk at least for ship 1 its a very slow turnover rate. I even have fixa termina 3 tisah jbs on sell for 35mil fully aug'd and leveled. hasnt sold either lol weapon buying is in a weird place rn. It could very well be bc the current scratches arent worth much profit/people saving for the upcming scratches.
What do I think? I think Sega has forgotten about NGS. Everyone is hype for JSR, Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Shinobi... We need a new planet, but only get recycled seasonal and Manon melodrama story (which is lazy.)

@@johnsouthern6089 you said they have forgotten about NGS lol. i don't know how that means anything other than thinking they've abandoned it. sega's a big company and they're always hands-on with a lot of different games. NGS is just one part of their business, so them making some remasters/remakes of old games is definitely a completely different team with a different set of skills, maybe even working in a different engine.
"We need a new planet" No, for one simple reason. It 's not going to fix the core issue with this game that most people: which is a sustainable gameplay loop that doesn't feel like a waste of time. Did Retem solve the issues of Aelio? Did Kvaris solve the issues of Retem and/or aelio? Did Stia solve the issues of the other 3. If the answer is no what is a new planet going to do that Halpha didn't? Now I find other things to do in game so the drip drip content doesn't bother, but what about others with actual content concerns? No, there's no point to getting another planet until there is a tangible solution to what went wrong with the other regions. Having new stuff for the sake of new stuff is why this game feels like Frankenstein's monster if it was made of legos, nickelodeon gak and hay.
The problem is you get the new best thing and then a couple months later something completely blows it away and you waste all your time. Ultimately, this discourages people from even playing PSO2NGS. Tbh old school PSO and PSU > PSO2NGS. I think PSO2NGS is a failed attempt by Sega. It has been handled wrong. Too many bad ideas, decisions, etc. They had something good going for them and blew it.
I know these content creators wanna seperat players by how much time they have and sound all professional but honestly end game is what you make it its how YOU want to play the game its how YOU stay and play its what keeps YOU comming back for more im always chasing to get the highest bp i can ill play for hours and hours running quests and urgents and doing combat zones for pse burtss if i get lucky great if not at least i get materiala for use later on i will never be highest current bp or the best inslot snob but ill damn dry my hardest to get there.... Purple triggers drop flugel so I don't think it would be pointless to do them. Just need a good team.

You can change your Motion Dash in the Salon, there are different variations which change the colors of your particle effects!

People aren't really buying them either bc ppl undercut the price by a looot everyday. for example, before maint. flugal jbs were 150-200mil, now they are 60mil and dropping. I'm probably going to just keep my flugal at this point.
That being said even if its worth lets say 43mil for knuckles, I make more selling scratch items that sell eons faster, idk at least for ship 1 its a very slow turnover rate. I even have fixa termina 3 tisah jbs on sell for 35mil fully aug'd and leveled. hasnt sold either lol weapon buying is in a weird place rn. It could very well be bc the current scratches arent worth much profit/people saving for the upcming scratches.

sega's a big company and they're always hands-on with a lot of different games. NGS is just one part of their business, so them making some remasters/remakes of old games is definitely a completely different team with a different set of skills, maybe even working in a different engine.

No, for one simple reason. It 's not going to fix the core issue with this game that most people: which is a sustainable gameplay loop that doesn't feel like a waste of time. Did Retem solve the issues of Aelio? Did Kvaris solve the issues of Retem and/or aelio? Did Stia solve the issues of the other 3. If the answer is no what is a new planet going to do that Halpha didn't? Now I find other things to do in game so the drip drip content doesn't bother, but what about others with actual content concerns? No, there's no point to getting another planet until there is a tangible solution to what went wrong with the other regions. Having new stuff for the sake of new stuff is why this game feels like Frankenstein's monster if it was made of legos, nickelodeon gak and hay.

The problem is you get the new best thing and then a couple months later something completely blows it away and you waste all your time. Ultimately, this discourages people from even playing PSO2NGS. Tbh old school PSO and PSU > PSO2NGS. I think PSO2NGS is a failed attempt by Sega. It has been handled wrong. Too many bad ideas, decisions, etc. They had something good going for them and blew it.

I know these content creators wanna seperat players by how much time they have and sound all professional but honestly end game is what you make it its how YOU want to play the game its how YOU stay and play its what keeps YOU comming back for more im always chasing to get the highest bp i can ill play for hours and hours running quests and urgents and doing combat zones for pse burtss if i get lucky great if not at least i get materiala for use later on i will never be highest current bp or the best inslot snob but ill damn dry my hardest to get there.... So this game still same thing, do this type of content over and over and call it a day, cause devs cant make more content, sorry has a former veteran this game looks meh still, where are the improvements? still looks boring, ngs needs to relearn a new formula cause its not working, they think the formula of pso2 works with NGS but doesnt, any player that has years on mmo's can see the problem and seeing it still visible and not fixed its a major problem, its good to see some people still find it interesting but i couldnt the content after first time geting boring my the sec, no wonder majority of players go afk and chat.
