Trivia Question for .flp: How old was i when i first started using Fl Studio, what grade was i in, and what version of Fl Studio was it? (You have to get all 3 parts for the .flp)

Exactly, there is G#, then B
yeah it goes B to G#, back to B and to B an octave up

Also, use the limiter with another signal to sidechain, not the peak controller. lol.
actually the way he used peak controller wasnt the best but if he wanted to use peak controller should of done it with a compressor and link the peak to the threshold and turn up the ratio a bit but i guess he was short on time lol i mean he used soundgoodizer O.O
3U1F The videos are 10 minutes, i barely put any effort into mixing let alone mastering and EQ.. its all about the melody
If you look around, any "Deadmau5" style sidechaining is done with the Peak Controller. It doesn't yield the same result, as Limiter uses the soundwave. Using Peak Controller creates a smooth curve due to the way it works. It's a mix of sound and workflow styles.
you can do the exact same thing if you know how to use the limiter right. I don't use a kick, I use any sounds that's very very short (usually Closed hi-hats) to send the signal, because then I have almost entire control over it, I can make a smooth line.
chiliman93 If you're doing that you could use 3xOsc and ASDR envelopes for complete control, but then you're going very far For an effect that's easily done with Peak Controller, you control decay speed, tension and all of that, you can create any envelope. But one could say if you're going for that, Gross Beat is a more visual tool for it, I personally use the Limiter, it really is simpler and I like that, but that's how I prefer to do it. People do some odd stuff.
