    Hi can this device be used if you have minor bulged disc‘s in your neck?

    Your head isn't stretching as it should when its resting on the ground in this example. Your head should always be above the ground.

    is there a trick to proper placement? as i just end up with sore neck and a headache when i use it

      Natalie, There is a proper position that the Denneroll needs to be placed. This is determined by doing a stress x-ray. The stress x-ray assesses for unstable segments in the cervical spine As well as any areas that have reduced motion. Using a denneroll without having the x-ray taken my lead to less than desirable results.

      I love my denneroll. My chiropractor instructed me on it's use. This is a great video demo!

    Can you tell me where you get the bungee attachment that you used under the denneroll (at 3:00 ??)

    • @ThePostureDoctor
      @ThePostureDoctor  6 лет назад +2

      Hello Paula, the bungee attachment is purchased from the Denneroll industries www.denneroll.com/. Before we prescribe this additional compression ( bungee) to a patient we will do a correction potential x-ray first to determine any ligament instability in the cervical spine. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask. P.S Love your videos.

    what treatments are usually for lower, middle and upper neck position of the dennaroll? I have one but I forgot which position I needed mine to be.

    • @KN510
      @KN510 5 лет назад +1

      My guess is the degree of the neck curve. I'm at the lower position, I don't remember what degree my neck is curved at. I do know that my C2 vertebrate has been the biggest issue, so it's possible my neck is more straight than curved.

      Katherine when we recommend a denneroll for spinal rehabilitation. A thorough x-ray analysis is used to determine the areas in the spine most requiring correction. Three x-rays are taken a lateral survival in neutral Bay flexion and extension. Without an x-ray analysis it is very hard to determine the best place for the denneroll.

    The back of my head goes numb when i use it ☹️ when i get off, i feel a rush of cold tingling through the back of my head as feeling restored. Been using it for a year. Should I discontinue? Is this dangerous?

      I would recommend that you contact the practitioner that sold you the denneroll and ask for a re assessment. Without knowing your case or seeing your xrays I couldn't comment. Please let me know how you go.

    What do you think about mixing deneroll usage with chin tucks?

    • @shanemezger9133
      @shanemezger9133 Год назад

      Great Question. The purpose of the denneroll is to restore the Cx lordosis. A chin tuck in effect creates a flexion of the joints whereas the denneroll is aiming to increase extension of the joints. I advise all of my patients to improve the mobility of the Cx spine via chiropractic adjustments and then use the denneroll to mould the Cx spine towards the optimal lordotic curve.

    How long to restore the curve ? Thanks

    • @ThePostureDoctor
      @ThePostureDoctor  Год назад +1

      That will depend on a number of factors. % loss of curve, amount of degeneration in the spine, postural habits and compliance to exercises. The first reassessment at 3 months will show the patients response. Each patient is unique in their response. You can check out www.idealspine.com for research articles.

    I was just prescribed one, but I have the oddest sensation like bone and against bone where my skull meets neck. I have complete straightening in the c spine.

      Did your chiropractor do a stress test before prescribing the denneroll. That is have you lay on the denneroll for 8 minutes, then take an xray to assess any unstable segments in the cervical spine, then stand you up and take a lateral xray of your neck to look at the curve response to the traction.

      I didn’t have that, you think its essential before usage?

    Honestly this is one of the most pathetic devices I've ever used. I cannot get into postion because this stupid things keeps sliding when I lie down on my mat on the floor
    Secondly laying on my back hurts so much so anyone with a lumbar disc buldge is going to struggle getting in pain without aggravating their symptoms because if youve got a posterior disc buldge. Laying on your will push it out further.
    I'm honestly surprised how poorly this device has been designed because it keeps slipping out of position when you try and do it on your own without anybody to help you
