Nice to see a BOLO included. A sadly nearly forgotten piece of SF.
Not forgotten by all of us.
It's never forgotten it's always remembered the bolos that is
For the honor of the regiment!
@@MrRich2u That was my first exposure to them as well.
I loved the one where it bored out from under 200m of rock
Funny thing is, for some franchises, you could make an entire video alone.
Command and Conquer and BattleTech has so many different tanks each, they could fill separate videos on their own
The noise that the Tick Tank from C&C when it dug into the ground sent shivers up my spine...like a real tick does....eeew.
I do like the fatboy but I wished it was supcom 1 because it’s supcom 2 appearance makes it look like a c&c 1 stealth tank
I've been playing red alert 2 lately, I'd love to see the apocalypse tank in here
Heck, the Three C&C series could fill videos their own, too.
I'm glad you included Bolo. On a side note, in Posleen Wars there are even bigger tanks than Bun Bun and even this wasn't it's full version since they did jury rigged dozens of Abrams turrets to it with pretty nasty kinetic impactors attached to them
And not ABC integrity.
Somebody didn't check his notes.
On unrelated note, we need Daisy and her sisters here as well.
Instant like for including the _'M.A.R.V'_ and the _'Gattling 033'_ ❤️
Mind adding a 100,000 ton tank? It’s got 8 orbital lasers surrounding a planet-killing particle accelerator, with 4 railguns on the sides for good measure. It uses rocket propulsion to reach up to 535 mph at its top speed. The name? The *M10 “Hyperbeam” Ultraheavy Tank*
So glad you included Battletech, Hammers Slammers and of course the greatest of all time..... BOLO!
Really enjoyed it, like the first part. It would be cool to see a mech comparison video from you (Titans, Knights, Megazords, Dreadnoughts etc)
There's actually Bolo Marks higher than 33 that are even BIGGER than this if you find the other books, some over 40k tons! The biggest/newest from the Post Concordiant/Dog boy war are actually based on XXXIII's after centuries of continued upgrades, including being entirely contra-grav operated, rather than off treads!
Very nice to see Hammers Slammers and BOLO’S mentioned.
I really like it when games use tanks which could be actually practical and could be made (to some extent) irl. Like that Imperator Bavarium from just cause 3.
a forerunner ecumene war sphinx (more like a mech suit, but....). current era's understanding? nearly impossible.
(let alone to something like an FSP5 unit's full capability to be replicated (pun intended) by our current era engineering).
cyberpunk 2020 has quite few along with mechas
@@TheJarric 'well that makes two of us.' -- some multi-power Conduit.
I would have been very disappointed that any of the original Supreme Commander tanks were not mentioned, but I know the difficulty of finding the true scaling those things.
Fantastically pleased to see a Bolo get the number 1 spot again. Go Dinochrome Brigade!
Well done. Nice to see BunBun, Slammers, Ogre, and Bolo all in the same run--though the Slammers hovertank should have been a gleaming silver metallic (those monsters are never painted). Nicely done, sir.
Happy too see the Bolo included. It's basically a battleship with treads. Lol.
Dominion Tank Police was the first anime I ever owned, back in the VHS days. I couldn’t even tell you how many times I watched those tapes.
Should you do a part 3, the Kapisi (a Sakala-class command carrier) from Deserts Of Kharak would probably be a cool end tier one - a collossal rolling aircraft carrier counts as a tank right?
`It would be neat to see you do a size comparison of all the GIjoe and Cobra vehicles. You did leave out some of their tanks including the HISS.
If you make a part 3, I'd love to see the Sophia III from Blaster Master.
I literally only know of BOLO tanks because of the fanfictions putting BOLO tanks in other IPs, and those were awesome.
10:15 *BOLO Mk XXXIII* 😺👍 I was waiting to see a bolo.
awesome vid. more slammers, more bolos, dominion tank police, AND heavy object. well done!
the whole time watching, i was thinking. "i bet they dont list a BOLO" and Bam there it it is. nice to see old scifi isnt totally forgotten.
No one can say this guy doesn't deliver. Awesome follow up!
I came for the Bolo and I was not let down.
Was happy to see both Battletech and SheVa Bun Bun get recognized, two of my most favorite sci-fi's. Well done.
Major props for this actually responding to viewer requests
BOLO Rules! The Dinochrome Brigade Lives Forever!
Id love to see a part 3! many would not know but there was this game back in the 90's for PC called thunder brigade, and it was all about space tanks, yes, space. tanks. basically a tank capable of missions through hostile surfaces such as moons lava planets and so on, there was this enemy tank from the Halon empire , a very massive one called "Warden", it was big and scary. oh, and they float using gravity engines. Too bad people quickly forgot about this hidden gem
Maus: ATTACK
Bolo: aww cute little maus's
M.A.R.V. and The Technodrome?!? NICE!
Also, it looks like you could actually park a M.A.R.V. inside the Technodrome.
Hmm... is anyone here any good at modding Kane's Wrath? I have an idea...
bikerushowns might know
Here's more fictional tanks from Command & Conquer Generals, I hope added in part 3:
- Overlord tank
- Sentinel tank
- Manticore tank
- Marauder tank
- Paladin tank
Overlord....hahah! I remember that one. You could add a sand bag bunker to it, or propaganda towers, or make it shoot nuclear shells I think. Good times. China was a fun side to play on.
@@pex_the_unalivedrunk6785 actually is gatling gun turret add up
Isn't sentinel and manticore fan made or so? I don't know but they were pretty cool
@@rendiorton499 Yeah, they're from a mod...
@@rendiorton499 If AV is insist sure if added in part 3,
Another more from Command & conquer Generals:
-Golem tank (it's like object 179)
-Jadgmammut tank (it's like VT tank)
-Emperor tank (China tank General)
Nice! Some chunky bois missing in your collection are Valkyria Chronicle 4's Vulca, and VC 1's Batomys and Marmota. If you include Hover Tanks, Ashes of the Singularity's Dreadnoughts Hyperion and Prometheus are up there. Speaking of Hover Tanks, Battle Zone and Fallen Haven are worth checking.
Wasn't actually expecting my comment to show up in this vid. Good to see you interacting with your viewers.
I always thought the Ogres were bigger. I'm glad you included the super tanks from the Hammerverse.
Yeah, the Ogre is less than a speed bump to a late model Bolo.
That is a big problem. My memory puts an OGRE at 50 meters in length and 15 meters in width. It would exceed 400 tons, if it was carved out of wood. Made out of armor, nuclear reactor, and guns, it should probably be a few thousand tons
The Mark V Ogre is 2345 tons according to the source books. No idea where some of the numbers in the video come from.
3:55 legendary tank design
Thank you for recognizing Bun Bun!!
I can't help but notice that when you forget people's favorite tank it's like you just insulted their family sometimes.
At some point, you can't just call it a tank anymore when that gets past 1000 tons. That when you call them what they really are. "Landships"
If nobody's mentioned it yet, the Taranis from Fuga: Melodies of Steel is a good choice.
Furvert.
Hats off to BOLO for shooting starships out of orbit and reducing its surroundings to a nuclear hell-scape
For part 3 I have a few suggestions from 2 games. I would love to see them.
The Drake, Fallen Walker and Cabal Golliath hover tank from Destiny would be great.
And also Planetside 2's Lightning, Chimera, Prowler, Vanguard, Mag Rider and Collossus tanks.
They totally forgot about the Drake.
I tuned in ONLY to see the BOLO. While the 3D model wasn't bad, the scale was pretty good. A BOLO movie might be awesome but given how badly the screen version of STARSHIP TROOPERS dodged the books rendition I'll refrain from even thinking about it. Some amateur animator would probably do it better anyway.
Ahhh there it is! Bonaparte. They had some nice tanks.
Also love the fat boy.
*MARV ASSEMBLY COMPLETED!*
So many cool tanks! I wasn't aware of, at least, half of theses fictional metal boxes.
Your videos are SO AWESOME. If you plan on making another for fictional tanks, it would be fantastic to include Gunhed from the Manga and Movie.
Siege Tank my favorite tank in fiction, it's basically mobile artillery. And the fact Terrans can mass produce it through SCV's and repair it on the go with SCV's.
Glad to see tiny tank make the list. Fun game. Still got my copy
bolo mk33 the baddest of the badass tanks.. heuristic AI is capable of solar system level intercept with its hellbore's as well as esper attacks on other AI commanded vehicles, invading the system.. the Imperium of Man's ultimate technological achievement.
Liked for including Battlezone II!
Where Icarus Taurus Super Heavy?
It's from Project Wingman
If you ever do a Fictional vehicles III then pls include the Lost Planet 2 Railway Gun.
I really love these videos and thank you for making them.
So excited when i see there was EDF tank
I'm happy to see the tank from gundam igloo. It's probably has one of the best fights in the Franchise
Very nice presentation. Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you! 😁
Happy that bunbun and the heavy objects were included.
Thumb'd up as always, very well done. Can you add Land Ironclad of H.G. Wells if you plan to make a third video?
Nice too see a tank from battletech make into a list :)
Panzerstadt missing AGAIN! Be beloved manhattan island sized megachonk from Mortal Engines is missing!! 😭
The platform these tanks are on would be a speedbump for it!
Come on now.... Nobody forgets about the classic POCKET TANKS. Back in the early days of computer desktops.
And you could add more Metal Gear things. Their all tanks in a military specs.
I was waiting for this. Great job!
Holy crap, I did not expect to see SheVa BunBun show up in this!
Wouldn't the Tron tank technically be weightless and infinitely tiny since it is nothing but code?
I'm shocked by the turnaround time between reading comment requests and creation.
Amazing work!
The music in the 0-20T weight class sounds a bit static-y
BOLO MK XXXIII! FOR THE HONOR OF THE REGIMENT!
Your a champ just a straight A solid champ
Bob Semple Family Photos:
Very cool! Can't wait to see the Landraider or Basilisk in pt. 3
And that should be the end of it. No ground crawling vehicle is heavier than a Bolo Mk33.
Well done. I was about to comment, and then saw this absolute MONSTER at the top where it belongs.
I mean, there could be worse out there, but its going to be another Bolo
Great video and props to you for following people’s suggestions!
An obscure suggestion I have would be the Valkyrie or Neon Valkyrie from the Epic Battle Fantasy series, though I’m not sure if there’s any listed measurements for it.
It’s disappointing to see how many rude or toxic commenters were on the first video, I find it curious how I don’t see as many toxic comments now that you are displaying suggestion comments in the video.
I think you could also talk about the different types of machines used in the war of the worlds
Terminator Resistance did a great job and purveying just how massive the HK Tank actually was
It's very nice to see M.A.R.V. here, but it's unlikely that it will weigh only 200 tons - it's the same size as a five-story building!
At some point you stop being a tank and become a landship.
there are also tanks from anime 86, although they are more like mechs than tanks.
Love this, loved seeing Bunbun!
I like how there is a Nod Militant standing on a GDI MARV
The Ogre Mark V is not 419 tons. According to the GURPS Ogre book, it is 4,679,456 pounds, or 2300 tons.
You have my respect of including Bunbun and a Bolo, though.
Nice to see the Saber in there. Hovertanks are underrated. And I was stoked to see you included a Hammer's Slammers tank! If I had to ride one into combat that would be my ride of choice. Line of sight plasma cannon for the win thank you very much. Plus the ability to shoot down incoming munitions appeals to me considerably.
To see tanks from Command & Conquer makes me happy. I love Command & Conquer.
hey, if you do a part 3 I have a suggestion for a tank you could add, its called the Astraeus super heavy tank and its from Warhammer 40k
If there is a part III, you could add WoT's Leviathan.
Ahh there is the siege tank! tanks alot mate.
Fabulous work! I hope to see tanks from Varlkyria Chronicles in a next part (Dreadnought Marmota for example)
What about Homeworld deserts of Kharak. There is a lot of giantic and cool tanks like a "Vanguard BattleCruiser SBC-34", "Horizon class Railgun NRG-18", "Soban Armored Assault Vehicle SA2-17" and "Saajuk Taa Honor Guard Cruiser". You can find detailed information about it in Coalition Expidition Guide.
Tom in the Thundertank, LOL! Jerry's gonna get it now!
I didn't expect MARV was on the list
*MARV assembly complete*
Even if you didn't watch the shows, you can immediately identify the anime show tanks because they look ridiculous and impractical in a real battlefield, breaking all the design requirements that a tank is supposed to follow.
In part 3, I would love to see the tanks form the War Thunder april fool's events, Like the S-onc or one of the ST-1 Battlewalkers.
Since the Titan from EDF made it in this time, you could probably throw the EMC tank from EDF5/6 in there, it's even bigger than a Titan.
Love the video! Looking forward to seeing more C&C tanks included like the Tick tank.
i recognize my baby from a mile away: "Reclamation ops commencing"
Pretty cool scene Bonaparte but I was always a fan of the Octopus tank from Venus Wars
Add Dinotank from Ultraseven next time anyways Great video!
Bolo the ultimate tank
Excellent work. Here are more suggestion if you ever want to make part III: Metal Gear Pupa, Metal Gear Coocon, GUNHED.
Little details you probably wouldn't know unless you were there; Battlezone, BOLO & Ogre were _video games_ in the early 80s. Battle zone was an arcade game, Bolo and ogre were PC games I played on the Apple II in 1984.
If you want ideas on tanks to use, anything from Homeworld: Deserts of Karak would work. my vote would go to the Kapisi personally.
