Medieval cities were much, much smaller than the cities of today, with populations factors of ten less. For instance, in 1066 at the battle of Hastings, the entire population of England was about 3,400,000 people. Today, in New York city alone, there are almost 9 million.
The largest Hive City can house more than 10x the current population of Earth. Even crammed in like sardines, such a city would dwarf anything on this list!
The Imperial Palace is a lot bigger then that because it pretty much covers the entire european continent and it even extends into what was the atlantic ocean.
@@silly_sceptic your logic should be banned from the earth's face forever, because when you say it was done by a lot of people, suddenly it is not so impressive anymore, which we don't talk about it here
Yeah Minas Tirith is much smaller in the movies than it really should be. It is also far more vertical than depictions in earlier book editions would dictate. Also, the Pelenor Fields are barren in the movies, while in the books they were covered in farmland. Just some ways that movies corrupt books.

This is great! If it ever gets revisited, it would be great to see Scrooge McDuck's Vault "The Money Bin" included in the list as he is widely considered the second richest fictional character of all time. At 59 meters tall it would come in right after Cinderella's Castle.

Well I heard he purposely have removed the ornaments of the hall and pillars, the statues and all the carpets floor ...
Imperial paternity, Palpatine tried to teach Darth Vader how to be a good Emperor but he was too affected so he was sent to a private school and Palpatine's new wife moved into the palace.... Sadly, years later, the divorce ended with half the temple lost in favor of the wife and Palpatine was forced to steal goverment funs to fullfill his luxuries, what made a cheap manufacturer would be the main productor of what later was known as the most defective imperial blasters in the universe.

Minis Tirth was the biggest surprise, really expected it to be bigger.
Really?
I expected it to be smaller.
Medieval cities were much, much smaller than the cities of today, with populations factors of ten less.
For instance, in 1066 at the battle of Hastings, the entire population of England was about 3,400,000 people. Today, in New York city alone, there are almost 9 million.
The only one missing to cap it all off: The Emperor's Palace from Warhammer 40k: Described as covering the entire Himalayan mountain range.
The largest Hive City can house more than 10x the current population of Earth. Even crammed in like sardines, such a city would dwarf anything on this list!
The Imperial Palace is a lot bigger then that because it pretty much covers the entire european continent and it even extends into what was the atlantic ocean.
Apparently 148k+ square kilometers
