- -😃Hello everyone, again a long video full of flying vehicles from movies, video games and series. They are just a select few of course. This video includes air vehicles, animals, floating cities and other types of flying objects (not space). As usual in my videos, measurements with ± are own measurements, made the best possible. Those with this symbol ~ is approximate. The rest of the measures you can find the sources in the description.
I hope you enjoy it!😉

Well, as long as it's mobile and you can control its displacement, it IS a vehicle. If we could control the earth's displacement it would be a vehicle, same thing for the solar system
Michael Spencer true, although I think calling it a “vessel” would be more fitting, because it’s not flying if it’s in an depressurised environment

Good old games, glad to see lots of AC Fans here
I destroyed the Aigaion, why is it here of all places *breaks down mentally*
So nicely done
ur all videos r aesome bro
Your videos are seriously such high quality, the amount of pop culture you cram in and with the correct numbers and data makes it even more impressive, it's also super cool how you use a real life city as the background to make scale easy to understand, up until this video it never dawned on me just how massive the Aigaion and Arsenal Bird were since you only see them from a 20-30 meter long jet.
i mean it's not really that accurate but sure
there are multiple times that he's used the wrong model, even though it's obviously the wrong model. it's cool, but in a casual sort of cool, don't use this as rock solid proof of something's scale size
the city in the back ground was new york city

Jesus christ i never remembered the Paper Pelican being THAT huge, and everything done on one Summer Day!
Wait, where's Perry?
Yep, the Paper pelican was supposed to be slightly larger than the Spruce Goose, which held the record for the largest plane ever built until the late '80s.
Ah, Perry the Platypus.
Ooh, surprised HMS Leviathan's on here. Love that book.
Me too!
I did not expect to see the HMS Leviathan :O
Thats such a niche story.

@@razgrizraven that's a space satellite

Well no one ever accused Disney of being original.
@@Sam-im5tc to be fair, it does fit thematically. The movie, for the bulk of the start of it, is quite realistic to the modern world and pre-death-of-airships flight.
And it doesn't go boom.
It isn't so egregious, far as designs go. Now the Prydwen, on the other hand...

I never in my life expected to see the HMS Leviathan again. I loved those books in high school, I never thought I'd see a reference to them.
Half was expecting the covenant super carrier
But I guess it’s a spaceship so a frigate would be more appropriate
I came here for Cloud City, and I wasn't disappointed. In other news, my favorite part of these videos now is the little "Subscribe" banner plane that always flies through. That's a great touch.
I think its annoying and distracting
Probably a Super Cub. A J-3 probably wouldn't be able to drag a banner that high.
So glad to see this finished, especially after all the demonetisation drama. Keep up the content!

Love it.. Can you include starcraft flyer
I felt so good when they put the parhelion into the vid, as a magic player that really means a lot because it doesn't get the recognition it some things like that
It would’ve been cool to see some of ace combat’s fictional jets like the Morgan and the wyvern
They aren't that big tho, but I was kinda sad that they didn't put the arkbird in there
Yeah, but most of them are basically the same size, just like Macross fighters... It would have been cool to see them anyways...
its sad nobody talks about the gleipnir, the biggest AC flying fortress
Give my boy Fenrir some recognition.
I know it has cloaking and anti-radar capabilities, but it doesn't have to fly under YOUR radars!
@@frumpsterfire To be fair, the Arkbird was moreso intended to stay in space most of the time. It might me considered more of a spacecraft than an air vehicle.
Nice! The HMS Leviathan got its' time to shine. I've read the series and while honestly, the Beasties were cool and all, but they were hella freaky and often insane creatures to have on the battlefield!
I liked the eight-legged land destroyer in the first book.
I only got to read the first one. What was this series called again?
Edit; I'm blind cuz it was in there
I was not expecting the Deus Ex Machina but this makes me happy ^~^
glad u included Eden from Just Cause 3, it's a dlc so i really wasn't expecting it to be there
I love how aircraft from Ace Combat made it on here three times, and could have made it on here at least four more times lol. Ace Combat manages to get into most of these comparisons because there's so many HUGE things in the series.
To bad we always shoot them down
Xb-0, P-112, Gleipnir, Arsenal Bird, UI4053 Sphyrna, the big fuck from Air Combat, SOLG, Ark Bird, The support ships from Heavy Command Cruiser for the P-112

I’m so glad he put the hms leviathan, it part of the most underrated book series of all time
Finally the Ace Combat series gets some love!
I can't even imagine how much work must have gone into this.
Like almost none lol
Nick
Ummm what?
@@Catani99 I suspect Nick is suggesting that these 3d models were purchased and just lined up to be panned over. Which is probably true for some of them, but not every company will be happy about selling models of their IP that people can print off in 3d printers and paint. And even if they are purchased, there's still a lot of work that went into it, it's just spread over more people.
I know there is a frustrating size discrepancy between the normal source material and the anime version, but the Gildragon from Zoids Genesis would be cool on this list. Its "normal" size is only 43 meters, but the anime version functions as a massive flying fortress as is quite literally the size of a mountain.
Still nice job with it👍👍👍😃😃😃😁😁
Nice to see the huge flying fortresses from Ace Combat in this, I was kinda expecting some Ace Combat aircraft to appear in this.
I’m also intimidated now knowing the exact size of the Aigaion and the Arsenal Bird. I knew they were big, but I didn’t know they were THAT big.
I think I got the scaling for the Aigaion mixed with it's support craft, but it being massive makes sense since it launches conventional fighters. I'm honestly surprised the Arsenal Bird is bigger than it
Soaring past the Arsenal Bird at supersonic speed gives you a glimpse of its size. But honestly: Who would have thought it to be THAT Big?
BURN OSEA TO THE GROUND
The DeLorean Time Machine should be here too, because for the entirety of Part 2, almost all of it's scenes show it flying.
