    В начале XX века в военных лабораториях Первого Рейхсмахта был создан супер-секретный танк, обладавший боевой мощью и сверхоружием, намного опередившим свое время. Для того, чтобы испытать танк и при этом раньше времени не разрушить Европу, он был заброшен в Центральную Африку для порабощения непокорных зусулов. Через некоторое время, в целях безопасности, все, кто знал о существовании этого проекта, были уничтожены и о танке забыли. Тем не менее, его бесстрашный экипаж в составе командира барона фон Швальцкопфа Фон XII, наводчика Ганса Шмульке и простых солдат Дранкеля и Жранкеля не забыли о своей великой миссии и готовы были до конца выполнить свой долг. В анналах истории этот секретный проект остался под названием «Железный капут».

    8:03 At the beginning of the 20th century, the military laboratories of the First Reichsmacht developed a super-secret tank with combat power and a superweapon far ahead of its time. In order to test the tank and not destroy Europe ahead of time, it was sent to Central Africa to enslave the "recalcitrant Zusuls." After some time, for security reasons, everyone who knew about the project was eliminated, and the tank was forgotten. Nevertheless, "fearless" tank crew, consisting of the commander Major Baron von Schwalzkopf XII, gunner Hans Schmulke and ordinary soldiers Drankel and Zhrankel did not forget about their great mission and were ready to fulfill their duty to the end.

    The model for the Gurteltier tank at 07:30 is actually the Hovertank titan in the video game Planetary Annihilation.

    • @manofironthathasntturnedcr9817
      @manofironthathasntturnedcr9817 Год назад +2

      Its the model for the Ares Titan. While it is a hovertank, it cannot be produced by factories, seeing as the thing is larger than a mountain range, and taller than one, too. I can see why planetary annihilation isn’t included in this kind of video, other than as a placeholder for something else, because it’s not that well known, and there is no accurate scale for the units. The Ares and the Odin would be the two largest « tanks » that exist in fiction, at least as far as I know.

    Good to see foxhole tanks there, they feel way more real because each crew member could actually make use of each part of the tank unlike WT/WOT or most games where you control all the functions.

    For those curious about the bolos. They are an excellent book series.
    Those tanks have taken shaped nuclear warheads to the face an remained operational. They can jump, they have mortars that send artillery shells into space. They have extenssive anti personnel weapons. The main guns(of which the 33 has 3 if im not mistaken, not sure where they got the concept art from) fire a bolt of plasma with an effective range of ORBIT. And they are ran by a supercomputer chaperoned by a human commander.
    At least one bolo has used its main gun to propel itself from orbit after its transport was destroyed in order to turn Itself into a kinetic kill weapon.

    Before I started watching the video, I wondered if a vehicle from BattleTanx would sneak in. I’m glad to say I was right. BattleTanx has so many cool designs, including the on in this video which is like a Motorcycle half-track with twin .50cal MGs. There is also the Rhino and I forget it’s name, but there’s one that can do barrel rolls.

    • @TheBwing

      I believe the barrel roll tank was the FliP E tank, it and the Rattler were very popular in that game. Worked on it back in the day at 3DO.
