It's heartwarming to see tanks from classic games like Blaster Master and Advance Wars!! I'm still waiting for Valkyria Chronicles tanks!
The edelweiss did feature in the first video, but I'm still waiting for the Marmota.
I'm hoping to see battletanx one day.
How much would the Combat tanks weigh?
I'm late but. The wiki said the medium tank is based on the adram. So the size may be close to that
Wait... the Overlord tank from C&C Generals had an actual listed size, tonnage and measurement, AND roughly the size of a modified KV-2? You do know the Overlord was supposedly big enough to run over and crush OTHER tanks, yes?
That, and I'm pretty sure it's canonically far bigger than the Nova tank from Star Citizen.
The Overlord's statistics were never listed in any source, the creators of this video made up these specifications. My own assumptions are:
The Overlord is roughly twice as long as a Battlemaster, and the Battlemaster looks like a Type 59/Type 88 main battle tank. Both of these are about 6 meters long excluding the barrel. The Overlord's hull would measure around 10 to 12 meters, and assuming a weight per size similar to modern tanks it would be well above 100 tons in weight, maybe approaching 200 like the Maus.
@@flyingsubmarine8334 "Overlord moving!"
@@flyingsubmarine8334 that makes a lot more sense then it weighing less than an m1 abrahm
It has same gun caliber as KV-2, he probably put them next to each other and changed Overlords size until size of guns of both tanks matched
Honestly I think he mixed the Linear Tank and the Overlord.
Love Henry Cavill as Ultramarines' commander!😁
✌️😁😁😁
Someone did ask him, who he'd like to be cast as in a 40K film...
10:14 Of all the chapters you could have chose you have chosen the Raven Guard. And I thank you for it.
I love my sneaky-beaky bois! You sir made my day and earned my sub.
so fun making fictional tanks. 😁
That xenos filth will never see or hear that Imperialis coming!
I love Capital Imperialis.
It's as if the Imperial Guard wanted their own Titan but didn't want a walker, so they just made giant APC but with Titan Void Shields but when they were almost finished they decided they also wanted it to have a gun so they looked at a Imperial Navy Battleship and decided that one of it's guns would be the best fit.
Also the raven guard just decided to claim it.
@@tarektechmarine8209 must have been Blood Ravens in disguise
3:23 hope this part can make your day good ;)
*Master Roshi Laugh*
Macharius Omega is armed with an Omega-pattern plasma blastgun not twin battlecannons. It can also have a pair of autocannons, heavy flamers or heavy bolters.
At least the model featured plasma, text at the bottom of it though..yeah not so much
Fun fact: the khanjali is based off of the pl-01 stealth prototype, so not entirely fictional
The Cybran destroyer has a name, it's called the Salem class.
For that matter, it's considered a ship first and foremost, so its inclusion here is a bit questionable.
Very versatile ship, the salem. Water and landbattlecapability with its protoncannons and its legs for kandbattle. But they are slow on land. Really slow
@@Llortnerof I was going to say. Not a tank. Very much a ship with deployable legs.
@@LlortnerofBut it sure has the efficiency of a Tank when I deploy them to save Princess Burke!
@@Kinsanth_ very slow, but IT IS WALKING OVER LAND no one ship in SC can do it, only Salem
I love these videos, doesn't really matter the subject.... And I enjoy the variety of ways it can be presented, such as others have done.... It's all enjoyable and I think that's the whole point, so don't hesitate to look up more of this channels other videos but additional channels too! I think certain things can be represented better in a certain style vs other things and you can appreciate the aspects of each and enjoy lots of them! Well done! 🌎❤️
That Cybran thing is technically classified as a ship. They just happen to be able to walk on land.
With the inclusion of the Destiny 2 Fallen tank, I’m surprised it didn’t include the Cabal’s Imperial Land tank. Given that an entire mission takes place inside one, it would be a solid contender for the largest on the list.
were the spartans on the scarab for scale because those sparatans should have been much smaller. like half way up the first part of its feet maybe. other than that one small petty complaint I absolutely love you for making this!
Heck yeah, Gravedigger!
Nice to see Perry Rhodan gettin some attention. There are later, prettier Shift designs though 😉
I would also appreciate some StarCom stuff. Those were my favorite toys as a kid. The Shadow Upriser always impressed me.
I'm pretty sure the Scarab from Halo is MUCH larger than that. Still great video though!
Cool video ! As a Halo enjoyer, I can tell you the Scarab is bigger in the games than in the video, maybe twice in size !
For past 3 videos I think tanks from Home world series (desert of kharak) would fit quite well for your series.
You might be interested in the Battlemovers in Bubblegum Crisis and Patlabor. I think Ghost in the Shell: SAC also had one.
Then there are the “Land Battleships” from Venus Wars or Big Wars.
Okay that bit with Henry Cavil made the ending of the video pure cake.
2:39 Wow, never thought I see something from Perry Rhodan. And the book series is still running!
Woah part 3! Thank you so much for your work! And thanks a lot for including my suggestion!
Thanks for the idea! 😁
@@AmazingViz Oo!Ooh!I know some suggestions!A lot more than my previous comment. And I hope you notice this.
Stretch limo cannon (Motorcity)
Think tank (Psychonauts)
Tinker Knight's machine (Shovel Knight)
REX209 (Nitrome-Test Subject Complete,if Metal Gear can enter then so can she)
Any enemy tank (Steamlands, yes another Nitrome game because I like them)
Ballista & Rockcrusher, also arguably the Druid Plow (Brutal Legend)
Gunbrick (Nitrome...again)
Valkyrae & Neon Valkyrae (Epic Battle Fantasy)
The Newgrounds logo/Tankmen series
The Rath-o-meow (Monster Hunter)
Justice Department tanks (Judge Dredd)
Batmobile & Twin Rattler (Gotham Arkham Knight)
ANYTHING from Brigador please.
Security Tank (Jak 2 Renegade)
The Tonk (it isn't any dumber than the Tower of Stallin...okay maybe it is)
Anythng from Planetside maybe?
The 6-legged walkers, particularly the one the heroes use as a van (Star wars:the Clone Wars & Rebels)
The Killdozer (it's a real thing)
Heavy Metal (Tiny Metal:Full Metal Rumble)
SHIV (XCOM:enemy unknown)
Eldar Hovertank (WH40k)
Tank-based units (Into the Breach)
Combine APC (Half Life)
Japanese helicopter tank (Red Alert 3)
Real Neotank hours! I wasn't expecting those oldies but goodies... AND SOPHIA TOO?!
😁
@ 2:42 small correction: Perry Rhodan still appears weekly.....current issue number 3911
Hold on... stop that Vid.... PERRY RHODAN ?!!!
Holy Space Opera Bat-Man ! This is the first time i see someone mention this legend of a space series in a comparison vid :)
I salute you!
that herman tank, nice to see battalion wars getting some recognition!
Cybran T2 Destroyer was a surprise, but a welcome one ^_^
this is your best bolo render yet
I know it’s a tall order (pun not intended) but please add some of the arms forts from Armored Core.
I would love to see Spirit of Motherwill show up in one of these!
Overlords are super-heavy tank and are much bigger than 55 tons that's for sure. Those tank threads are full sized, that means it had to be roughly doubled or even tripled the size of an MBT. (It can runs over a Crusader which is an M1A1 Abrams counterpart in that game)
The Haunted Tank from DC Comics and Bunbun from John Ringo’s Posleen/Aldenata series also need to be included in part 4.
Edit: Add Lulubelle from the 1943 movie ‘Sahara.’
Edit: Forgot that Bunbun was in the previous video.
Bun-Bun was in an earlier video.
Great to see the 40k tanks coming through! Maybe some of the Eldar tanks for the next one?
Not that heavy compared to imperium and ork tanks but yeah they are neat.
Yooooooo, my man actually included Takemikazuchi!!!!! Sound of The Sky is so underrated. Here's hoping we'll see another lesser known tank the Thumper from Universe at War, I always loved the triple barrel design.
😁😁
surprised we didn't see the Ares Fortress Titan from Planetary annihilation, considering if you think about the scale it rivals practically entire mountain ranges in size
Appreciate the Battle zone PC shout-out. How'd you figure out the tank size though? Seems like sometimes trying to get the scale right on some of these things is a bit tricky.
I like your videos! I’d like to add a fictional tank or machine you can eventually add to your list! The massive steam powered spider tank machine from the will smith movie Wild Wild West. That be awesome to see a series of movie tanks real or fictional
You know, this tank series could go on for a while if you are willing. There are many, many, many fictional tanks!
Never read any Perry Rhodan but had a friend who did back in the mid 1970s when there were already over a hundred books in that series
you can start with PR Neo now.
It is the same premise but the setting is moved to the 2030´s.
And alot of the more authoritarian tendencies etc have been taken out, so its quite a nice read and story.
especcially as they have put more emphasis on for example the galactic riddle and other stuff, wich fall a bit short in the original.
I was so happy to see NSDF Grizzly MBT from BattleZone, along with few tanks from BattleTech, Nova from Star Citizen and Cybran T2 Salem Destroyer from Supreme Commander with its unique ability to get ashore and walk on the land 😄
I must said i love the design of Linear Gun Tank, great work my friend
0:20 Awwwww the NEOTANK, let's go! I was wondering if Advance Wars would ever see this apparent series going on.
I think if C&C tanks are included, the Mammoth tank should have been there. It definitely outstrips the other tanks from the series.
i didn't expect to see takemikazuchi in here, thank you for that
Dune II was Westwood Studios, Virgin were just the publishers.
I always thought that the Overlord was heavier.
Liked seeing the H.I.S.S. tank featured in this video; don’t know why Bruce Willis was placed in the turret. He was never in the cartoon, & the tank was never featured in any of the movies.
i didnt expect to see a the *walking* T2 cybran destroyer *ship* in a list of fictionnal tank but supreme commander was mentionned so iam happy
Advance Wars and Battalion Wars were a nice surprise to see, but Sound of the Sky (Sora no woto) really came out of the left field.
4:13 ah yes, the ability to buy skill out of a napkin tank
Also in Battalion Wars there are more very heavy tanks such as the "War Machine" which are technically "Very Heavy Land Tanks" the Iron Legion, the Western Frontier, Tundra, Xylvania have their version of that vehicle, and the Solar Empire in a discarded Sketch had a Tank called "Hover Tank"
As a fact also in the Mario Franchise also appear tanks, in the Game of Super Mario Bros DS there is a Tank that looks a bit like the KV-2-2-2 put here.
It's nice to see Dune 2, C&C and Supreme Commander represented. Total Annihilation needs some love, though!
Also: for folks who may not know, that "Cybran T2 Destroyer" is *literally* a "destroyer" as in the kind of ship. Because it's a ship. It's literally a ship. but that faction's destroyer can also walk!
¡SIMPLEMENTE MARAVILLOSO!FELICITACIONES TOTALES 👍😀
For part 4
=> XYZ-Dragon Cannon (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
=> Earthbending-Powered Tank (Avatar : the Legend of Aang)
the scary thing is that only a ter 2 in supreme commander, there still a 3 and 4
Took me a moment to figure out why Superman was up there with the Raven Guard :D.
😁👍
Was awesome seeing the Grizzly from Battlezone, I miss that game.
I feel 3DO's Battletanks:Global Assault would bring several fun picks to a new video, if possible (N64/PS2 Game)
Mototank, Inferno, rattler, Meteor/Flippe, lazr and hover, Rhino, man I loved the Rhino, and best not forget the Goliath, which was comparable to the Sturmtiger with its giant demolition projector cannon/mortar. Abrams is also in the game for more comparison for size&calibers, But Abrams aside, pretty sure all the other tanks are purely fictional in that game.
My man really added the mecharius but ignored the Leman Russ and Baneblade 😭
So happy to see command and conquer gets recognition here
How about the Imperial Repulsortank 1-H from Star Wars Journal and the Saber-class Tanks from the 2002 Clone Wars game? Thanks!
Hearts of Iron IV has the Big Bob which is a Fictional tank and take on the Bob Semple, it's New Zealands Super Heavy Tank
Tbh I was half expecting a sudden zoom out and boom Spirit of Motherwill. Weight: “indescribable”
Again, I request the LEV Destroyer from Firaxis' Civilization: Beyond Earth, or at least the LEV Tank, and if mechs are allowed in these as of Metal Gear being featured, I posit the Nix Red Shadow, BMX10 Proteus, and/or Barga, all from Earth Defense Force Five, even though Barga is supposedly Technically a crane. Maybe those could go in a Mech Comparison Vid.
I think mechs are only allowed if they fit the role of a tank within their context, or are described as a legged tank , so Barga probably wouldn't enter in this category
@@ulforcemegamon3094 True.
Perry rhodan went far beyond 1978, its originaly from germany and its still running here
So I find it humorous to have the Imperial tank from warhammer fantasy, have Ezio nearby, then have the Overlord tank from CnC Generals, absolutely amazing.
Also the Scorpion tank from CnC 3, that is impressive, still waiting for the CnC3 titans or some of the tanks from Red alert 3.
The fat man from the first supreme comannder is probably the biggest tank out there. It is probably 10 times larer then the destroyer you showed at 9:00. It is a tank, artillery, shield emitter, and a factory all into one. The one you showed from the second video was from supreme commander two witch was way way smaller.
6:07 That is so not what a Battletech Demolisher looks like, where did you get the reference for that? It should have four independently articulated tracks and the turret should be a dome with two barrels on the same mounting, offset at a diagonal from each other so one is a bit above and to the side of the other.
- Oh, it's a Demolisher II, which is a totally different machine. Apologies, carry on.
Seeing the Takemikazuchi here has honestly made my day.
Next video should be on all the fake tank weights from World of Tanks. Plenty of them there
4:43
overlord driver: this is the overlord... tank!
2:43 The Perry Rhodan series ist still ongoing (since 1961!) and the Shift is very much "alive" in it.
but it has more modern and better looking designs today.
personally i like PR Neo more, as it leaves out alot of the more..... authoritarian and imperialist tendencies of the first few hundred "Erstauflage" issues.
@@zhufortheimpaler4041 Those first issues had their own "charm" and it made possible a progression of the entire political system and outlook on politics. I didn't like the later esoteric episodes, though.
@@thomas_jay yeah the more esotheric interlude in between with cosmocrats and chaos etc was not the highpoint of the story.
I think we all can agree that the Vindicator in warhammer is clearly based on the Sturmtiger
Agreed
For pat 4:
- Hammerhead (Warhammer 40,000)
- Batomys (Valkyria Chronicles)
- Marmota (Valkyria Chronicles)
- Snow Cruiser (Valkyria Chronicles)
If you're making another sequel, could you include the KV-44 and its brothers?
Your videos are great!
The Demolisher from Battletech gives me chills...
Happy to see a few BattleTech machines in there. Obviously chosen to fill weight gaps as there are 20 to 100 ton tanks in B-Tech.
당신의 자료는 저에게 많은 영감을 줍니다. 즐겁게 시청하고 있습니다.
Goddamn the cybran destroyers are bigger than i thought, you should do more supreme commander its got some pretty huge units
Bolo's don't need no stinkin' humans. Just point at the target and say "right there..."
Nice to see a video compelation like this that throws in some BattleTech vehicles. Really a rich sci-fi universe that gets overlooked a lot.
There were a couple in this one. 40 ton Gladius and the 100 ton Demolisher 2
@@Sturm01 yeah that's why I said it was nice to see them in there
@@Maddog3060 my bad, for some reason I read "it'd be nice to see..." at the beginning of your comment. ... freebirth, or canner? 🤨
@@Sturm01 Originally clanner, now I like the Periphery more.
Super disappointed that Bonaparte from "Dominion Tank Police" didn't make this list.
Bonaparte in Part II 😁 > ruclips.net/video/VzkknhgxtO4/видео.html
9:58 yeah I think "super heavy tank" is a little of an understatement
Need to Add the Gallop-Class and Big Tray-class from Mobile Suit Gundam
I will wait for Sahelanthropus from MGS5 in the next size comparison!
Well, if there's one thing i never expected to see here, its serious sam
I cant believe the Crusader from Saints Row the Third is not here. No one thought of that.
just completed the 3d model. Thanks for you input. 😁
Sophia 3rd! YES! You are the BEST!
3:31 the Khanjali IS NOT FICTIONAL (the railgun mod is) it is based on the Polish PL-01 although it was only a concept it still was a real tank
Next video, you should add some of the spider tanks from 86 Eighty-Six. Juggernauts, Reginliefs, Lowes, or the Morpho.
Just completed the 3d model. Thanks for the input ! 😁
Good to see the BOLO never gets forgotten...
Metal Gear Rex at 8:40. YES!
Aboard the Capitol Imperialis, during a Ork Wagh:
"Pilot! Drive the Capitol to the frontline, I want to hit these greenskins with my power sword!"
"Yes, commander, sir!"
All these tanks are from Dark Reign:
Freedom Guard|
Skirmish Tank (FG)
Triple Rail Tank (FG)
Tank Hunter (FG) ((The Original Scorpion Tank))
Phase Tank (FG)
-------------------------
Imperium|
Plasma Tank (Imp)
Taechion Tank (Imp)
Azmazing. Also Advanced Wars e Gundam Seed catch me off guard.
More Valkyria Chronicles please 🙏
Beautiful work! Any chance of including the Blackmare from Rogue Trooper or the Venator from Age of Tyrants in the next one? :)
I wouldnt say the Skorpion is a fictional tank. Sure it is only found in blueprints but most of the parts were available and if assembled it will be completed. It is not an imaginary tank that was made up by someone without concept, this thing was drawn and designed to be use in the real world.
Assumed I'd see the MARV from Tiberium Wars and the Apocalypse tank.
should be in Part 2 > ruclips.net/video/VzkknhgxtO4/видео.html
The kill krusha DEFINITELY weighs more than 13 tons
a Leman Russ weighs 60 tons, and it's considerably larger than that.
I was hoping you would include the takemikazuchi! awesome!
