As an 87 yr old US Marine Veteran, seeing her accomplish that feat sent chills thru my body. It’s my favorite sport & I loved watching it. I saw her when she first started when my favorite was Yuliya Levchenko, Cunningham, Lasitskene, & then Mahuchikh

The HUGE difference between her and the other competitors must be very disheartening to them. The men's high jump record holder is 193 cm tall, which is taller than world average, but not really an outlier. You will find 7-10 taller people on any given NBA court.
