Hey, you won many Olympic and world gold medals? Nah, thought not, just envious of the GOAT that is Carolina Marin. Get a life, lose the hatred.
@@Gods_messenger_Elijahno one's taking her achievements away from her. It's her on-court conduct that's causing the fans' displeasure. One's achievement really comes second or last to how they are remembered as a person on and off court.
@@Gods_messenger_Elijah there is already Zang Ning who’s twice OLY champion at the age of 33 and Susi Susatny is legend in WS. Marin’s achievements matter to Europe. Why is Marin´s behavior not acceptable? There is no problem - if her opponent is purposely delaying the game, every single ball, I understand that she wants the shuttle to furtherly dictate the pace of the game, that is a privilege of the server, to determine when the point starts.
Also, shouting / celebrating too loud can be intervened by the umpire? That´s so dumb.

She did. She started reacting similarly- that's when Marin knew she has won half the battle. Provocation in this case where you have won all important matches shook Sindhu mentally too much after her losses in Asian games.

but however Sindhu got controlled by Marin is what the fact.
Marin is just horrendous on court - really terrible attitude. Her screaming needs to be addressed by the BWF. She is by far the worst for unsportsmanlinke behaviour. The umpire was too soft and let her off a few times before the flashpoint. When she said "why", he could, and should, have given her many reasons. She just wound PV Sindhu up, who is also very competitive and has had her moments on court (but not on the same scale as Marin).

I still can't forget the 2016 Olympic semifinal match that Carolina played against Li Xuerui of China. In the 2nd set, Li picked up an injury and was not able to move to retrieve the shuttle, but she decided to continue to finish the match in the true sense of sportsmanship.......At that stage, I was shocked to see Carolina screaming after winning the points when it was very obvious that Li was not even attempting to return the shuttle. Commentry: it's going to be a boxing match 💀💀
The main reason for what is happening is that the referees are not fulfilling their function, where they not only need to change the score, but also monitor the culture of the players. After the Olympics/WC, Marin was allowed to behave in a similar way on the court, without ever being given a red card for it! She got used to it and it became the norm. This is the worst thing in current badminton, a player who under normal refereeing simply would not have the opportunity to play and allow the younger generation to see that such behavior is acceptable. This is a true shame for BWF.
Well said. I follow tennis … and umpires there are inconsistent, distant, and sometimes even clueless how to officiate … the loudmouthed player usually wins, much to the dismay of fans of the sports.

I wish the commentary portrayed exactly what happened and not the usual neutral one. Everyone who saw the match live knew how Marin behaved and the umpire always called Sindhu and warned her first. It was the umpire's decision to not take any action and just keep warning which has led to such behaviour of Marin. If only a Marin would have been penalized at least by giving her opponent a point things could have gotten under control. In fact a red card would have made much more sense . It would have given belief to viewers ( budding players ) all around the world that the playing field is equal but on the contrary allowing such behaviour such as Marin and letting her get away encourages budding and promising players to believe that those are the ways of a winner
